“Carrie is amazing! Our two cats took to Carrie immediately. One cat is shy and hides but from the beginning she went to Carrie. Our other cat is diabetic and requires medication once a day. Carrie had no problem giving the medicine. We were away on holidays for a week and appreciated Carries daily updates and photo. Carrie also took care of watering our garden and emptying our dehumidifier. We came home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. We are so grateful to have found Carrie.”

About: My family has a boxer, and she is well behaved and loving thanks to a healthy respect for knowing how to relate to dogs and how they communicate. My family has had dogs for a significant part of my life and I've gotten to know many! Having a dog has made me enjoy engaging with other dogs and their different personalities while loving them simply for who they are. Pet care keeps me physically active and that is why I have chosen to pursue taking care of other individuals' and families' pets. The schedule allows me to balance work and home, and engaging with pets keeps me enjoying what I do for other people. I respect the lifestyles and living spaces of everyone for whom I provide my services. That is, I leave the home looking the way it was before I arrived - and sometimes better if I see something amiss, of course! This could mean wiping Doggo's paws after our walk, sweeping up any crumbs or litter bits that have spilled, and washing food/water bowls at each visit.

About: I am a caring and compassionate animal lover and have over 10 years of animal care taking under my belt. I have always been my family and friends go to person for a caretaker, dog walker, dog/cat sitter, feeder and or just going to give their fur babies some loving while they are away. About: We’ve cared for different pets since we were very young, and we’re comfortable handling all kinds of dogs. A lifelong experience observing canine body language helps me understand their needs quickly. We also know how to work with both high-energy puppies and calm, senior dogs. We believe in the importance of daily walks and exercise to keep them balanced, reduce stress, and support their overall well-being. We can take care of dogs during the week, as long as they’re used to being alone since we have a hybrid work schedule. Weekends are also open for me, which means we can spend extra time having fun with them and making sure they’re well cared for. We care for pets in my own home, where we offer a calm and safe environment. We have a small patio where they can relax, and we make sure they always feel comfortable. We also love taking them out for walks or playing with them to keep them happy and engaged.

About: As long as I can remember, I've been crazy about animals - big and small! There is something truly special about the bond between an animal and their human. I approach everything I do with love, compassion and an open mind. I currently provide behaviour therapy to those affected by autism, work part time at Global Pet Foods in Milton, and I’m an Educational Assistant with the HDSB. I do not any shy away from challenges, and I have extensive experience with larger dogs with mobility challenges and autoimmune diseases. My lab suffered from wobblers syndrome and arthritis. My Rottie had both a THR and an FHO and was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called ITP. My care included frequent trips to the vet and the emergency hospital, daily cooking, medication administration multiple times a day, assisted walking with a harness, frequent wiping, managing both diarrhea and vomit, and transporting my late boy to rehab sessions. Dogs are family and they will ALWAYS be treated as such in my care. I love dogs of all sizes ❤️ My Rottie recently passed in April 2026 and I want to be able to share the love I had for him with other dogs ❤️ In addition to my dog, I currently have a 11 year old indoor cat who I love to bits! Feel free to ask me any questions you like! Your furbaby will be in good hands at all times I can guarantee. Photos and videos will never be a problem as I always try to capture the best moments :). I will gladly provide character references from places of employment as well as from the local vet clinic and rehabilitation center ❤️ I can work with you for your pets care! I currently am not offering boarding, but I would be happy to come into your home to assist where needed, or walk your dog, or just be a companion in the evenings or weekends. I have more flexibility when I am out of school at the end of June. I will work with you and create a schedule of care! I am flexible and understanding and will provide exactly what works best for you and your dog.
