About: I have been dog walking for 2 and a half years now, my first year and a half spent on Rover and the last off, but I'm back! I have learnt to handle dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as finding a love for helping ease the stress pet owners may face in regards to finding care for their pet. I was briefly enrolled in a veterinary technician program, and learnt a lot about animal behavior and became Fear Free certified! Though college was not a fit for me, I wish to continue working with animals and helping out where I can❤️ If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! Please check my calendar as I will try to always update which days I am unavailable. WALKS: currently available all days/times STAYS: currently available all days/times though the further out the booking is, it may change my availability as I am in the process of looking for a full time job Your pets happiness and safety is my upmost priority. I would love as much information from you as possible about them so that I can take care of them accordingly. If your pet is high energy, I can play with them until they're tired, and if they're more calm, I can just hang out with them and give them lots of love and attention! I always bring treats with me, so please inform me if your pet has any dietary allergies and I will try to accommodate if possible! Unfortunately I am not able to walk dogs over 70-80lbs if they are not good on a leash. I LOVE big dogs, but this is only due to me not being strong enough, and I don't want to put myself or the dogs in unsafe situations if I do not have the strength to control them. I am also not a fan of using slip leads, as I don't feel they are super safe for most dogs. I have my own clip leash that I may bring if that is the case, so please let me know if that is needed/okay❤️

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own. I trained both of them from puppy stage, giving me hands-on experience with training and daily care. I pride myself on being responsible, patient, and genuinely caring with every dog I look after. I usually work from home, and generally walk my dogs 2-3 times a day. I have a small and medium sized dog so daily walks are non negotiable. I won’t accept clients for days I go into the office. I have a fenced yard and have 2 friendly dogs at home so your pup will always be entertained if they want to. My 5yo child also loves dogs and is very gentle with them.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of pets for most of my life. Growing up my family has had dogs, cats, bunnies, fish and even a cockatiel. I’ve house sat and dog sat multiple times and come away with a new best friend each time. I work full time from home during the week on a fully flexible schedule. I can essentially take breaks from work whenever I need throughout the day to attend to any errands or responsibilities on my schedule, pet care included. I am generally pretty free in the evenings & weekends. I am a young, agile and strong pet lover who can adapt to the animal I am with. For bigger more domineering animals I am comfortable taking care of them & for more docile pet I can be a delicate gentle teddy bear as well!

About: We’ve cared for different pets since we were very young, and we’re comfortable handling all kinds of dogs. A lifelong experience observing canine body language helps me understand their needs quickly. We also know how to work with both high-energy puppies and calm, senior dogs. We believe in the importance of daily walks and exercise to keep them balanced, reduce stress, and support their overall well-being. We can take care of dogs during the week, as long as they’re used to being alone since we have a hybrid work schedule. Weekends are also open for me, which means we can spend extra time having fun with them and making sure they’re well cared for. We care for pets in my own home, where we offer a calm and safe environment. We have a small patio where they can relax, and we make sure they always feel comfortable. We also love taking them out for walks or playing with them to keep them happy and engaged.

About: What sets me apart is that I work from home, so dogs get consistent attention, supervision, and regular walks throughout the day. I take dogs out about every three hours to help keep them active, comfortable, and accident-free. I have lived with and trained dogs for most of my life, and I enjoy caring for dogs with different needs, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or needs a steady routine, I focus on creating a safe and positive experience. I have an 8-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who is friendly with other dogs, and my home in Milton is puppy-proofed for safety. When I am home, dogs have access to the house and can relax, play, and stay close by. I want each dog to feel comfortable and well cared for during their stay. Please feel free to message me with any questions. I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Dogs go out for walks or potty breaks about every three hours to help keep them happy, comfortable, and accident-free. Because I am home throughout the day, pets get regular attention, supervision, and companionship. Since I work from home, dogs are supervised throughout the day and are rarely left alone. I provide a calm, clean, and attentive environment where pets can stay comfortable and feel secure. I follow each owner’s care instructions closely, keep a consistent routine for walks and breaks, and make sure pets have space to relax, play, and stay safe.

Nikki was absolutely wonderful with my kitty! She took such great care of her, making sure she was fed, played with, and received all of her medications. I especially appreciated how attentive and gentle she was, and how she kept me updated every day with pictures. About: I adore cats! I literally grew up surrounded by them, and have past experience taking care of strays too. I understand your furry companions' needs. Currently, I do not own any pet, so your cat will have all the space it needs in my home (+attention too!). I currently work from home on weekdays only, so I'll be able provide round-the-clock care to your pets. I am also happy to update you on how they're doing through WhatsApp video calls/messaging. I live in a home, with no access to the outdoors. I have a small balcony, which I keep closed at all times when I have cats over.

I have experiencing owning and caring for exotic and small animals as well, having owned a bearded dragon, and cared for many species from snakes to guinea pigs. I have a passion for caring for animals, with goals to become a veterinary technician in the near future. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. On workdays, I'm able to provide care before and after my shifts, and on my days off I have a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. I always strive to maintain each pet's normal routine and provide consistent, attentive care. Whether I'm caring for my own pets in my home or client's pets in their home, my priority is always their safety, comfort, and well-being. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, and any medical or behavioral needs so I can provide individualized care. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any household rules provided by the owner. With my background in clinical animal care and experience working in a Fear Free veterinary clinic, I'm trained to recognize changes in a pet's behavior or health and to handle animals calmly and safely, especially those who may be anxious or stressed. I maintain a clean environment, ensure pets always have access to fresh water, provide plenty of enrichment and affection, and keep owners updated with regular photos and messages for added peace of mind. About: I’m Leslee, and it’s so nice to meet you and your furry friends! I am a former English professor who endured treatment for two cancers in 2023-2024, leaving me partially disabled but eager to find meaningful work again. Since adopting my first cat in 2000, animal companions have filled my life with both love and a deep sense of duty and purpose. I currently share my home with my 11-year old mixed breed dog and my 7-year old cat, both of whom remind me daily how special the bond between people and animals can be. All pet-parents will have occasions when they need help giving their companions the exercise, play, and attention they deserve. I aim to create a calm, stress-free experience for your furry friend, right in the comfort of your own home. I have cared for everything from playful puppies and curious kittens to wise senior pets who just need a little extra patience. You can count on me to provide a walk along doggy’s favourite route, some gentle playtime, or quiet company while you are away. I have some experience administering medications and am happy to do so if provided clear instructions. Please tell me about your pet’s personality and quirks; the more info I have, the better I can curate an experience you will both be happy with. NOTICE: As of 2026, I am no longer living in North York and have settled down in the Georgetown/Halton Hill area. To my previous Toronto-based clients: I am happy to offer overnight dog-sitting in Toronto, but will no longer be able to offer walks or drop-in visits. Reach out to me if you have more questions! I am currently working from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can drop in to give your dog or cat some attention, play time, and companionship, or I can provide 30 minute dog walks, perfect for a mid-day stretch or happy stroll. If you are leaving town, I can keep your pets comfortable and cared for in your home so you can travel with peace of mind. I bring patience, empathy, and many years of hands-on experience to every visit. I understand that entrusting someone with your beloved pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I aim to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable every step of the way.

About: I have had an Australian shepherd and border collie mix for about 4.5 years. He gave me a lot of experience in working with large, energetic and hyperactive breeds. I work part time! I am typically available all day Monday + Tuesday, Wednesday morning/afternoon & Friday morning/afternoon. Weekends vary, but typically I am available after 6! I have a fenced yard, but also are careful not to keep toxic items for dogs laying around. I take precautions with foods that can be dangerous for dogs and though he no longer eats non-food items, I was quite vigilant when he was a puppy as he would try to eat shoes etc.

About: Don't wanna walk in the snow? I will. Don't wanna walk in the rain or after work? I will. Currently I own a female Rottweiler so I understand how important play time and being active with pets is. I also enjoy it. I am available during days, early morning or late evening walks or visits. If you are out for the night or have a early day. I do not walk more than 2 dogs at a time so your dog gets my attention and is safe. Rottweilers are also very clumsy so I do keep a puppy proof environment for boarding , good for overnight stays. I live right across the street from a vet & animal hospital incase of any emergencies. I live close to several trails, the boardwalk and a beach, so dogs will enjoy the walks. My work schedule is very flexible & close to home. Morning, afternoon & evening time’s available. Holidays will be available which can be hard to find someone. I have a very clumsy big dog so my home is clean, free of obstructions, edges, food etc for safety. Lots if space & comfy mats / beds for pets. Toys are kept in safe locations when its not play time.

Hii, Megan has been great with my dogs. She has been very patient with my hyper puppy with poor manner 😬... my little sassy french bulldog who doesn't really like anyone, Megan has won her over and my girl trusts her, welcomes her into our house- didn't take long for my girl to feel comfortable with Megan. My labrador is happy with any and all attention so having Megan pay attention to him, he is over the moon 🥰 Megan has been a great to my troops and we appreciate her caring attitude and look forward to having her work with our family further.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
