About: I have had a family dog all my life and have ample experience taking care of pets. Recently I got into pet sitting for 3 different people regularly in Thunder Bay, and have spent up to 2 weeks full time sitting for 3 pets (2 large dogs and 1 cat). I will send you photos and updates of your pets as much as you desire! I love going on hikes with dogs and spending time playing and learning with them. I genuinely adore pets and love taking care of them. I am currently an Occasional Teacher (summer break), so my work hours are fairly flexible and accommodating for caring for your furry friends. Most schools days start around 8am and end around 3pm, with a lunch break that I can use to let pets out if needed during the day. I in a pet friendly apartment, however, I feel that pets are more comfortable in their own homes anyways. I really genuinely could spend all my time with dogs, so I promise you your dog(s) will get all the love and spoiling they deserve. I have lots of walking trails around my house, but also can walk wherever is accessible and don’t mind driving with or to your dog(s). I strive to keep pets schedules as familiar as possible and provide them with lots of exercise and love.

About: OUR MOTTO: PETS OVER HUMANS!! We both have grown up around pets & we just don't know how to even live otherwise. Moving here was challenging because we had to leave our babies with our family, this has definitely been the most difficult thing we had to do. We miss them like crazy. About: I’ve had dogs since I was five years old and truly can’t remember a time when dogs weren’t part of my life! I also helped my mom with her in-home dog boarding service, which has given me experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable with everything from puppies under a year old and dogs who aren’t crate trained to seniors who need extra hands-on care. I have experience giving medications, helping senior dogs up and down stairs or furniture, and using a wagon when walks are no longer comfortable. I’ve also cared for reactive dogs and understand the importance of patience, boundaries, and following each dog’s individual routine. We’re huge animal lovers in our home, and pets are treated like part of the family. Dogs are welcome to get comfortable, roam freely, play, relax, and receive plenty of attention and affection. I’m very comfortable adapting to different needs and personalities and want every dog in my care to feel safe, loved, and at home. I am a student with an flexible schedule, who is open most weekdays during the day to come and check in on your furry friends, walk them, take them to the park, etc. When I have pets in the home, they are the priority always. My day is scheduled around taking them out, play time, walks and treats. If I have to step out, I like to leave the TV on for them to feel calm. I enjoy taking dogs with me to the park, the Pet Store, or even other dog friendly stores like Canadian Tire/Home Depot. Pets are curious and should explore all day! At home, we treat all pets like our own allowing them to roam and as they please and hang in our fenced yard. At your home, I would follow any and all rules you implement, and ensure that I am constantly changing water, taking our furry friends outside, and keeping them entertained with toys and games.

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs all my life and a very comfortable with all sorts of breeds, personalities, along with various ages and training needs. I am a local collage student, and am available to walk dogs pretty much any time during the weekends, early mornings and later evenings during weekdays. I’m fit and energetic and have lots of energy to keep your dogs moving and safe. I am comfortable with all types of pets and also with all kinds of situations or emergencies.

About: I have grown up with dogs and now have a 7 year old Golden Retriever. I used to work at Rens Pet Depot for 5 years and have some knowledge about different breeds. I love all breeds (especially the big babies). My retriever is raw fed so I am completely comfortable feeding your dog raw food, fresh food, or kibble! I am currently substitute teaching so I am unsure of my exact schedule until the day of, so “after school hours” would be best for me for pop in visits or walks, or you can message me morning of if you are in need for in the middle of the day! Having worked in a pet supply store I have a few tricks that I have learned and can help do slight training and can work with whichever way works best for you! Especially with potty training if needed. My Golden Retriever uses a gentle leader to help their pulling, so I am completely comfortable using those! Only thing I have not used is a prong collar. I’m willing to learn new ways and am flexible to do what works for you are your dogs! I also do give a lot of attention, pets and cuddles to my guys so there is a big chance your dogs will get extra loving too!

About: I have taken care of pets for the last 40 years; from dogs, bunnies and cats to birds and crested gekos; beautiful little stories can be written. About: I currently take care and walk my friend’s dogs. I feed, take them in long walks and take them for a pup cup as well for being very good boys :) I also have a 6 year old tabby cat who I love very much and I give her lots of well deserved pets every day! About: I have worked at a doggy daycare where I cared for 20+ dogs at once and was able to give my love and undivided attention to every animal under my care. I wake up each morning greeting my dog and taking her on a long walk followed feeding her a healthy breakfast. I like to spend one on one time with my furry friend. When dog walking, I double check each pet is properly secured by their leash before beginning my walk. I also ensure do discuss with the pet parents any aggressive or alarming behaviours that I should be aware of so that I can keep your furry friend happy and safe.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. Mostly labs, huskies, and German shepherd. I have always had at 1-3 dogs at a time. I just moved out of my family home and no longer have a dog at my house for the first time in my life. I love dogs more than anything and they make me so happy to be around. I have been around multiple personalities when it comes to pets and always had big dogs so I would be fit for any sized dog or personality! About: I had a dog most of my childhood, have been a dog sitter/walker and a couple of years ago, my brother moved in with his dog. Rose is strong and willful but now we walk with a "loose lease" usually, unless there's a squirrel!! 🐿 I'm currently not working a structured schedule while I complete my first novel. About: I am a part-time teacher looking to get my steps in! lol I have two Dalmatians of my own, one of which is slowing down a little as he grows older. They absolutely do not need to join, but I can definitely handle high or low energy dogs, and can offer lots of time for sniffing or just bathroom breaks. I go to the dog park pretty frequently with my guys, if you’re interesting in having your dog socialize and join us, but of course we are happy to stick around your neighborhood and have on-leash play time.
