About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on foster experience across all kinds of dogs (and kittens) and have a bachelor degree in animal sciences. In my family we say the bigger, the better - more to love! My dog, Mango (f, neutered) is incredibly friendly and always looking for a playmate, so your pup will have great company here. I also have cats at home, so dogs just need to be non-reactive to cats (they won't be bothered at all). Since I work from home, I'm around about 90% of the time, which means lots of attention, walks, and playtime. Honestly, for me this is just an excuse for more hugs and kisses: do realize your dog will be spoiled to the max! I work from home every day with very few meetings, so I'm around and available almost all the time. My only regular time away is about an hour for the gym, and I plan pet care around that so your dog is never left alone for long. I have an outdoor space for your dog to enjoy, and I use long lead cables so they can run around safely even without a fence. For dogs who'd love more room to roam off-leash, I also visit fenced dog parks nearby. I have a separate room available, but I prefer dogs stay close to me rather than sleeping alone at night, so your pup will always have company.

About: We are a dog-loving family and will treat your pup like one of our own! ❤️ We recently lost our beloved Golden Retriever, Porter, in March, and we miss having his big, happy presence in our home. My daughter especially would absolutely love having a visiting dog to spoil with attention, cuddles and playtime! Your dog will also have the company of our sweet 16-year-old Cockapoo, Harlow, as well as plenty of human companionship throughout their stay. We live right on Sixteen Mile Creek, so there are beautiful trails just steps from our home for daily walks and lots of outdoor time. If your dog loves the water, swimming can be part of the fun too! 🐾 When we’re home, expect lots of cuddles, attention and a comfortable place to relax. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, loved and completely at home while they’re with us. ❤️ Both my husband and I work from home and have flexible schedules, so someone is typically home throughout the day. Your pup will have plenty of company, attention and opportunities for outdoor breaks. I also walk about 5 km a day on the beautiful trails near our home, so if your dog loves exercise and longer walks, I’d be very happy to have the company! For pups who prefer a slower pace, we’re happy to adjust their walks and routine to whatever they’re used to at home. Your pup will truly be part of our family while staying with us! We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, plus lots of toys, games and mental stimulation inside to keep them happy and entertained. With both my husband and me working from home, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of attention throughout the day. We’re also happy to follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable and at home as possible. 🐾❤️

Lola spent the day with Hark, her dog Bailey and another dog friend. Hark sent us photos throughout the day and kept us up to date on how her first day went. Lola is sensitive and it can take her time to trust but from the photos we received she looked like she was the centre of attention and she loved it. We are very happy with our first day and are looking to book Hark for our upcoming vacation.
