About: I've raised or cared for a variety of breeds for over 25+ years, from puppies to rescues to elderly dogs. Husky-X, Malamutes, Hound-X, American Eskimo and Cairn Terrier-X's have been the core breeds I've handled. I don't currently have a pet living with me, but I love the company of all sorts of scruffy and snuggly fur-friends. I'm an active person (distance runner) and am accustomed to keeping busy bodies and minds occupied. I went through all 4 Levels of training with my female Alaskan Malamute with McCann's Dog Training. While my Mal has since passed, the training gave me a good grounding in guiding and understanding dog behaviours. I'm not afraid of shedding, slobber or reactivity. Please no flexi leashes for your dog's safety and mine. My clients get homemade cookies (if their diet allows) and are welcome on the furniture or on my bed. You set the rules about diet, exercise and any other boundaries. I work from home. I'm an actor and a part-time coach. I have flexibility on weekdays and weekends. Lots of time to attend to my fur-clients need for love, butt-scratches, exercise and playtime. I have a large, fenced backyard, and I supervise it whenever your dog is outside. If in your home, I would also supervise their outdoor play. The level of activity is matched to your dog's needs.

Was a little worried that my dog wasnt feeling too well before drop off so Cam had prepared white rice for him just in case, although he never needed to use it. Cam is extremly good at handling multiple big dogs and ensuring they get plenty of walks, rest, food and water. I was updated with photos of my dog as well as their walking routes throughout the day. Morgan was absolutely amazing!! My request was super last minute, and she responded almost immediately, which I truly appreciated. From the start, she was kind, attentive, and clearly very willing to make sure Ramona, my dog, was well taken care of. She stayed in constant contact with me throughout the stay, sending tons of pictures and updates. She also asked thoughtful questions whenever she had any doubts, just to make sure Ramona would be as comfortable and happy as possible. That gave me so much peace of mind. My dog, Gem, had his first visit with Susan. It was last minute and Susan was very accommodating! She lives less than 2 kilometers away so it was really convenient. It was just for the day, and Gem adjusted well to Susan's home and even her cat. He came home happy and tired so it was a good experience.
This was my first time booking Brittany to take care of my girl Sophie. She was kind enough to take her last minute when my sitter canceled. She kept in touch with me, sending pics and updates throughout her stay, which I appreciated so much! Sophie had a great time with Brittany and her boys, since she loves kids. Kate was wonderful with Piper. Piper is still a puppy and needs extra attention which Kate was excited to give. Piper got extra walks in and was treated so special. She felt very much at home in Kate’s house. We loved getting just the right amount of updates on how she was doing during the stay!
