Dream job, dogs are everything
I'm a big time dog fan, from growing up with a shepherd cross who was over 100lbs (and a cat). I've taken care of over 20 kinds of dogs, and am comfortable with most breeds. I live in an apartment so when the weather is good (and even when it's not) I would prefer to be outside for as much time as possible, and a dog buddy would be ideal for big day walks. I live on the top floor of my building (about 30 steps up), so unless I can carry your pet I wouldn't recommend myself for a senior dog.

We are so lucky to have found Maria! You can tell when your dog has been loved and well cared for :+). Maria and Dave took such great care of Otto, sharing updates and photos with us during our trip, but most importantly making sure we were super at ease while being away. Otto looked very happy and relaxed when we came back for him. Thanks again! Hope he can stay over many times more!
I’m beyond happy I found Maria! It was love at first sight between her and my dog Haily — and honestly, for me too! From the very beginning, I could feel how kind, gentle, and genuine she is. Haily spent a whole week with her, and I could tell she was so loved and cared for. The best part? When I went to pick her up, Haily actually turned back to say goodbye to Maria — something she never does! That moment truly melted my heart and said everything I needed to know. Maria is absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my furry baby. Highly, highly recommended! ❤️🐾
Maria was punctural and prompt with communication! She took great care of Chloe! We would definitely board Chloe with her again!
Maria did a fantastic job of taking care of our Siberian husky and German Shepherd. Both are very high energy dogs and we came home to two very tired pups. You could tell Maria spent a lot of time walking and playing with them. Maria was also very flexible with a last minute changes. She responded immediately to my texts and I felt very at ease on my trip ❤️
Maria was amazing with all of our pets and they were well cared for. If travel ever opens up safely we would definitely ask her back!

Schedule
I have free time a few days a week; I work in the hospitality industry, so I'm busier on the weekends but definitely reach out if you're looking , as my schedule changes frequently.

I prefer being outside and going on walks to staying indoors, so all dogs that stay with me definitely get their exercise unless they have mobility issues.
A typical day
I love going for walks around the city, especially down at the Bayfront. There are a few parks nearby, as well as a fenced-in dog park for them to run around, and play fetch. I'm not huge on dog parks, but like having the option.

- Are they house trained? Are they good around other dogs? bc honestly this makes a huge difference in the stay. Are they socialized with people? Can i give them peanut butter? I'm open to all breeds but especially love boston terriers, german shepherds, staffies, and pitbulls.
