“Dennis was very responsive and communicated well before the visit. He was flexible and accommodated last minute requests. I will use Dennis again if I’m ever in need!”

“Dylan is flexible with scheduling and provides good communication during walks and drop ins. He's patient with my puppy, and has been helping to teach her to walk on leash. He's been a huge help with multiple daily visits while my pup's so young.”

“Chloe was very good with our pets and very accommodating with the booking. She made me feel assured that my pets would be well cared for and they were. Even my grumpy senior cat was sitting in her lap. Highly recommend”

“Outstanding service. The communication was excellent throughout the entire booking, and I always felt informed and at ease. My puppy is usually very skittish and anxious with new people, they approached her with patience, confidence, and a gentle demeanor that made all the difference. I’m extremely grateful and would absolutely book again.”

“This was our second time having Britney come for drop-in visits with our cat, Nala, while we were away. She does a great job, is easy to coordinate with, and is very friendly, reliable and professional. We will absolutely book with Britney again the next time we need a sitter :)”

“Nick did a great job taking care of my cat and dog for a week. Even with them not being used to being with a stranger for an extended period of time, they warmed up to him quickly and really enjoyed his company.”

About: Let me start off by saying I am so excited to meet your four (or three!) legged best friend. Animals make my heart happy and I will provide all the love and care you would if you weren't away. I have a Bachelors of Science in Large Animal Science. I have volunteered at animal shelters to walk all the rescues. I worked at a 24 hour emergency Vet hospital renowned on the East Coast , I owned two rescues well into their late teens. I love all shapes and sizes and personalities. If you dog wants to run, we will be morning joggers. If your dog wants to play, I'm a tug of war champion. I do work full time so if your dog needs a lot of attention throughout the day I would not be a good fit M-Th. I believe in transparency and will always let you know prior to any booking should I foresee it not being the best match for your pets needs. I’m currently a full time Rover sitter- so your pet is my number 1 priority. We follow their schedule - whether it’s set feeding and walking times - or free time play and nap as you please. I aim to make this temporary change in caretaker as seamless as possible. Just a slight change in scenery and a lot more 1:1 time. I treat your pet like my own (unless you don’t allow them on the furniture, because I need to snuggle those babies!) I prefer to be with your pet as much as possible, and if I need to leave the house I prefer to bring them with me.
About: I've provided care for dogs of all ages (newborn to palliative senior), training and energy levels, and breeds (Chihuahuas to Great Danes & Mastiffs) through fostering, boarding and day care/walks. While typically busy on weekdays, I have plenty of free time on the weekends to care for your pet(s). I can usually be available with little notice. I would follow your safety rules and use your preferred tools (leash, harness, etc.) when babysitting/walking. I also have 2 friendly dogs and a fenced yard.
“Melina did drop-in visits to care for our pet rabbit over the course of a weekend. She followed all instructions perfectly and is an excellent communicator. Her updates were thorough and always included pictures. I highly recommend Melina!”

I’ve cared for dogs and cats for over 13 years, including my own two energetic Shih Tzus, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m dependable, attentive, and big on communication, so you can expect timely updates and thoughtful care while your pet is with me. Safety matters to me. I respect your house rules, routines, handling preferences, and any specific instructions around feeding, medications, leash behaviour, or quirks. I know trust is a big part of handing someone your pet, and I take that seriously. My schedule allows flexibility, and I’m happy to work with owners to find something that makes sense where possible. Tell me about your pet’s personality, energy level, routines, favourite things, and anything they dislike—I’d love to get to know them. I have a flexible working weekday/weekend schedule with time built in for your pet to ensure their needs and your expectations are met with care! I follow house rules and am attuned to the dogs needs when out in the world and cats needs at home. I am vigilant about safety and other elements in the environment always!
About: Being raised around pets my whole life and having many of my own pets in my adult life, I feel confident that I can give your pets all the same love and attention that I would give to my pets! My pets have always been my family and I will treat your pets the same. I am a huge lover of the outdoors and am happiest when I'm out walking, especially when I have dogs by my side, no matter what the weather is like! I have volunteered with animals in the past and feel comfortable with pets any size or energy level. I will do my absolute best to ensure your pets needs are met, no matter how big or small. I will also make sure to respect the owner's rules and make sure they are maintained. Photo updates so you can be sure your pets are happy and enjoying their time with me!
“Thank you Prince for taking Otis on walks for 18 days and changing out his food. Despite the efforts Otis did not eat his morning food for all those days and I thought an hour's walk would make him hungry enough. Something learnt from it. Thank you for taking care to the best possible!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Hamilton
Dokyung was absolutely amazing with my kitty!! She sent so many pictures and videos and took great care of him. I’d never left my kitty alone this long and was worried how he’d cope but she was as so attentive, kept me informed, and made sure he had an excellent time. Will definitely be booking her again!

This was our second time having Britney come for drop-in visits with our cat, Nala, while we were away. She does a great job, is easy to coordinate with, and is very friendly, reliable and professional. We will absolutely book with Britney again the next time we need a sitter :)

This was our first time having someone we didn’t know come visit our cats at home while we were away. Susan was incredible, our cats loved her. She took great care of them and sent us lots of photos which we loved. Will definitely be using her again the next time we go away. She was awesome!

Des and Michelle were wonderful! They were punctual and took the time not only to feed the cats and clean the litter box, but also to play with them and earn their trust. They always sent detailed updates and photos, so I could enjoy my camping trip with peace of mind knowing my cats were in safe hands. I would happily recommend them to anyone in the neighbourhood.

This was our 4th time working with Sue to take care of our two kitties, and it won't be the last! She is the best petsitter we have ever had. She is extremely caring, amazing with her communications and updates, and even went out of her way to make sure the cats were okay in hot weather. She is incredible!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
