About: When I was 6 years old, my parents surprised our family with a yellow lab puppy. As the oldest of 3 girls, I took great pride in caring for my lab - feeding him, playing with him in the backyard, taking him for walks/runs, and even picking up his poo! Having our lab for 13 beautiful years was a highlight of my childhood. As our lab aged, I helped him up and down the stairs, bringing him food and water, and prioritizing his health and happiness until the very end. Most recently, my sister got a new puppy 3 years ago and I've had a second-hand in raising him, always following my sister's training plan to the final detail. I've been blessed to have a cat (or two!) every day of my 34-year life. Currently, I have three cats: Myra, Holly, and Maow. Myra joined my family when I rescued her at 10 weeks old when I was living in Germany. At a young age, Myra developed an eating disorder. Every three days, she takes an appetite stimulator to trigger to brain to continue to eat. Holly and Maow were adopted from the Humane Society, as both have feline asthma. Holly takes an inhaler every morning through a cat aerochamber and a pill every 3 days. Maow is currently in remission. Apart from the medical support, I love spending time with my cats. It fills my heart to watch them play together, chase a laser, enjoy pets and snuggles. I will treat your fur babies like family, as if they're my own. Apart from puppies and dogs, kittens and cats, we've also owned bunnies, rats, and fish. I am currently working full-time, but remote from Monday to Friday. Working from home (or anywhere!) gives me flexibility to stay at your house during the day, except if I have any in-person meetings. This will be communicated at the time of booking. I have experience taking care of all types of pets, at all ages - from young fur babies to seniors. I will follow your instructions to the final detail and will clarify should I have any questions.

“Adam is awesome. He came for a drop in while we were out at a medical appointment. He took lots of pictures, fed our guys lunch, let them outdoors and played lots. He was also really accommodating, driving a bit of a distance to our house to do a meet-and-greet first. We have already booked him for an overnight pet-sitting in our home next month. Adam is friendly, easygoing, attentive, good with details, and most importantly, awesome with dogs. He's a natural.”

“She was amazing. She treated my cats like they were her own. 10 out of 10 service”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters/walkers is my hands-on, professional experience working with dogs of all ages and temperaments and my Canine CPR certification. I’ve cared for large groups of up to 75 dogs in daycare settings, gaining extensive experience with feeding, walking, bathing, brushing, crating, and administering medications. I also worked in the Pet Care department at PetSmart, where I further developed my skills in animal care and handling. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs at once, even those with very different personalities. I have experience caring for senior dogs with extra needs, as well as helping train young puppies through positive reinforcement and consistency. Beyond my professional background, I’ve grown up in a dog-loving family with two black labs at home—and nine in total when the whole family is together. Managing and understanding dogs comes naturally to me, and I bring calm, capable, and compassionate care to every visit. Typically my availability is quite open and I’m generally free. Send me a message to enquire more about my availability, I’d love to chat with you! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize safety, structure, and personalized attention. I take time to understand each pet’s unique routine, temperament, and needs, and I adapt my care to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My professional background—including experience in doggie daycare, the Pet Care department at PetSmart, and hands-on care for senior dogs and young puppies—has prepared me to handle everything from medication schedules and crate training to managing dogs with different energy levels or personalities. I also offer reliable, enriching walking services tailored to each dog’s pace and preferences. Whether it’s playtime, walks, meals, or rest, I aim to keep your dog’s day familiar and stress-free. I make sure to keep communication open with pet parents, providing updates, photos and peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I had a dog back home and I was the only person responsible taking care of him at that time. His name is sandy, and I miss him so much now! I am currently doing my co-op at a health centre and I work there 9-5 which makes my evenings after 6 free and on weekends I work part time and sometimes in mornings and evenings I'm free. I took care of my dog, always had a timer to when to give him his next meals as per the doctor's instructions and also did a great job in cleaning using dog friendly shampoo and moisturizer.

“Dorothy is AMAZING! She stayed in our home and cared for our 2 cats for 12 days. We came home to very happy cats and a beautifully clean house. Dorothy is warm, trust-worthy, and dedicated. I really appreciated her professionalism and her obvious love for animals. I felt comfortable with her from our first meeting, and she went above and beyond what I was expecting. We will absolutely be asking her to help us out again in the future. She is truly wonderful.”

“Marina did a wonderful job, both in caring for our cat Felix and for our house while we were away for a few days. Marina is very friendly and communicative (always getting back to us immediately) and made sure she understood everything we needed. She was flexible and prompt with her visits. We appreciated that she was conscious of COVID-19 concerns and willingly came by, masked, to meet with us before we went away. Marina did everything we asked and more, feeding, cuddling and playing with Felix and cleaning his litter box, washing his bowl, watering plants, taking in mail and even our recycle bin. Felix really took to Marina, as we could see in the photos she sent us after each visit! Marina was a great find and we would not hesitate to recommend her highly.”

“Thank you very much for taking out Oakley! It looks like he had a ton of fun based on the pictures.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 6 years old , I remember how scared I was when I met my first dog , his name was sultan and honestly he was the one who took care of me and after that my love for them just expanded and still every time I see a dog I fall in love them . I work part time so so you can leave your loved one with me at nights or afternoons and for mornings we can figure something out . Note - there will be an additional charge depending on the distance I have to travel to get to your house.(estimate $6-8 for short distances) I currently don’t work but will soon start working part time , and most probably the day time but we can always talk arrange something that meets your needs. I currently don’t have any pets of my own here except for two small fishes , but I have an immense love for animals especially dogs , my building has its own yard where we can go for potty breaks and we can visit the nearby parks if that’s what you want for your loved one .

Thank you so much Serenity. Misu 🐈⬛ loved all the hugs and belly rubs. Misu knows Serenity by her voice and goes to meet her. You are a great sitter and we will definitely call you again.

Kendra was great, she was able to help us out at the last minute and come feed our kiddos fish everyday. Kendra sent photos each day and was easy to communicate with. Thanks so much Kendra!

Amazing sitter for our cat Kylo. Updated daily with adorable pictures and activities. Will definitely be using Alexandria exclusively :)

Meghan is so wonderful and kind. Our cats love her! She has excellent communication and sends lots of pictures. This was our second time working with Meghan and it will NOT be the last.

Shayla did a great job on her drop-in visit to check on my cats. She made sure they had enough water and food for the remaining time they would be left alone and also cleaned the litter and played with them and provided me with lots of photos and information about how everything went.

This was my first time having a cat sitter. When Kim came by to meet the cats, she immediately felt like family. I knew then that the cats would be in good hands. The photos she sent with each visit brought a chuckle. I will have Kim take care of them again in a heartbeat.
