“Ruomai took such great care of our cats over the weekend! They were doing great when we got home and I really appreciated her giving them so much attention and sending us photos and updates! They are looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks and we will certainly use ruomai’s services going forward! ❤️”

“I can't recommend Olivia enough!! Right from the start, our cat Milo liked her, which made us feel at ease to leave him under her care. She is calm, respectful, and caring and her thorough reports even helped us detect an issue, which we were able to solve with her help to make Milo more comfortable while we were away. We are very grateful to have found her, and we will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“Britney was incredible with our furr-babies! She kept us up to date with how our cats were doing, and let us know if there were any changes in their behaviour. We would highly recommend Britney! Our cats loved her! Evidence from their daily report cards!”

“Piper is great with my 2 rescue dogs who can be very fearful with new people. She is very patient and has won them over quickly with her calm presence. I would highly recommend Piper!!”

About: NOTE: Times I am available are listed under "Availability" (left side of screen on computer + in the middle of this section on phone) I treat every pet like they’re my own, taking the time to understand their personality, routine, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve owned dogs and cats my entire life and have experience pet sitting for others, so I’m familiar with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. I’m especially patient with shy or anxious pets and focus on building trust at their pace, while also being able to keep up with energetic puppies who need structure, play, and consistency. I pay close attention to behavior and body language, which helps me respond quickly to anything your pet might need. I’m also very mindful of routines, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or just maintaining the environment your pet is used to. I’ll always keep you updated so you feel confident and reassured while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed, understood, and genuinely cared for the entire time. ********************* **Schedule updated weekly** Available ANYTIME on: Monday (29th), Thursday (2nd), Monday (6th) Available anytime BEFORE 4:00PM on: Tuesday (30th), Friday (3rd), Saturday (4th) NOT Available: Wednesday (1st), Sunday (5th), Tuesday (7th) (As Rover is not showing the times I am available, I will update this section of my profile every week.) ********************* When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific preferences your pet has. I’m very mindful of your pet’s comfort and behavior, and I always make sure they feel safe and secure in their own environment. I also respect your home and keep everything clean and tidy while you’re away. I’m attentive, reliable, and will keep you updated regularly so you feel confident your pet and home are in good hands.

“Melissa was clear and transparent about availability when making plans for her to drop in to care for our cat. She asked lots of questions and sent pictures with updates. She messaged us after we got home to make sure everything was ok. Our cat loved having her visit, thanks Melissa for caring for her like your own!”

“Lizzy took such wonderful care of my bunny, Bean, that I think he was disappointed to see that I was back from my trip.🤣 I have booked with Lizzy for 6 days later this month and know that Bean will be well taken care of and loved.”

“Daniela looked after our cat Molly while we were away for a long weekend. She stopped in every day to feed her and play with her. We got lots of pictures of Molly after each visit and we could tell she was very happy to see her and have some company. We will be happy to have Daniela come look after Molly again sometime soon!”

About: My family has owned dogs for 8 years and I’ve walked 2 or 3 dogs several times a week since then! I’ve also assisted family friends with walking and drop-ins for feeding and sitting. I am a fourth-year undergrad student with a few hours of classes per week and no other responsibilities, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I can’t care for pets in my home, but I am very happy to petsit in your home and walk outside the home! I will watch your pet with care and take their personality/conditions into account.
“I was away for 3 weeks and Eva was extremely helpful and responsible in taking care of my cat and plants. She was responsive and sent lots of pictures daily. Thanks Eva for providing the peace of mind I needed during my time away! :)”

“Wenge took such great care of our cat Errol during our holiday. Errol has some health issues that need monitoring; Wenge was so diligent with sending daily photos of the litter box for our review, and monitoring for symptoms. When we came back, Errol was so happy and calm! We are so grateful to have someone to trust with Errol on our holidays - Thanks again Wenge!”

“Aliyah took care of my Bunny when I was away, dropping in daily to change his litter box, feed him and give him some company. She did an excellent job and was very reliable.”

“Kira is dependable, visits when she says she will, and looks after our cat with lots of affection. We’ve had Kira look after our cat before and will do so again when we need someone.”

“Megan is an Outstanding Pet Sitter! I can't say enough good things about Megan! she took amazing care of my dog, Lucy, while I was away. From the very beginning, I could tell Lucy was in loving and capable hands. She got plenty of walks, playtime, and was absolutely spoiled with treats (in the best way!). Megan kept me updated with photos, videos and little notes, which really put my mind at ease. Lucy looked so happy and relaxed every time. It’s clear she truly loves animals and treat them like their own. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book Megan again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and thoughtful pet sitter!”

About: If the dogs or cats want to take my chair or bed, I the type of person who would sit or sleep somewhere else. As a former researcher, I would always try to understand animals behavior in a scientific way, and of course in a loving way. I love a clean and tidy space. I work from home and with no family around, so your pet would become my best friend. I work from home and do lots of walking everyday, so all the pet's need can be taken care of nicely. I take at least two walks everyday, stay the rest of time at home working, that's why I'm capable of pet care. And most importantly, I love pets. I can care the pets in the way he was cared at home. I have a cat and lots of energy to take the dog on a walk, and the flexibility to meet the dog's need.
“Jessica is a wonderful sitter! She went above and beyond when caring for my cat. She followed all of my instructions and even came up with fun games to keep my cat entertained. I loved the fun updates and pictures she provided. I definitely recommend getting Jessica as a sitter!”

“Behnaz responds quickly, and clearly has a love of animals, with the added bonus of being a vet before moving to Canada. She has been patient and understanding about our rescue dog’s poor leash skills and reactivity towards other dogs.”

We keep coming back to Faryn for a reason! She's looked after our cats several times now and is always fantastic. The updates and photos she sends are a real highlight, you can tell she genuinely loves the animals in her care. We always come home to happy, relaxed cats. Couldn't recommend her more! :)

Sandra is an amazing and attentive cat-favourite! She looks after my 2, particularly energetic and anxious, cats (who love her) while I’m away and gives me such peace of mind. My cats are nearly identical, but only one gets medication, and with Sandra I never have to worry about them being given to the wrong one.

Joy was incredible! Very observant and relayed any notes in the daily reports and always had my girls' best interests at heart. Joy also handled unexpected hiccups (a furball and a temp control alarm going off) with grace and initiative. An absolute delight of a sitter, I couldn't trust my cats with anyone better.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
