“Stephanie was great! She helped me with drop ins/walks and I felt she was very communicative and reliable. She was sweet to my two pups/took the time to get comfortable with them, as they can be scared of strangers. Would recommend her!”

“Shannon is a great dog sitter! I have three barky dogs that can be nervous around new people. They warmed up quickly to Shannon during the meet and greet and didn't bark at all when she arrived for her first check in. I feel very comfortable having Shannon take care of my precious pups and will definitely hire her again.”

About: If the dogs or cats want to take my chair or bed, I the type of person who would sit or sleep somewhere else. As a former researcher, I would always try to understand animals behavior in a scientific way, and of course in a loving way. I love a clean and tidy space. I work from home and with no family around, so your pet would become my best friend. I work from home and do lots of walking everyday, so all the pet's need can be taken care of nicely. I take at least two walks everyday, stay the rest of time at home working, that's why I'm capable of pet care. And most importantly, I love pets. I can care the pets in the way he was cared at home. I have a cat and lots of energy to take the dog on a walk, and the flexibility to meet the dog's need.
“Lizzy took such wonderful care of my bunny, Bean, that I think he was disappointed to see that I was back from my trip.🤣 I have booked with Lizzy for 6 days later this month and know that Bean will be well taken care of and loved.”

“We had Sarah look after Millie for a second time with two drop in visits and she was so amazing! Millie was so excited to see Sarah again and she kept me updated throughout the day which I really appreciated! We will always use Sarah to watch our puppy. :)”

“I had a fantastic experience with Olivia for taking care of our cat Lucy! She provided excellent care, kept me updated regularly, and Lucy seemed happy and content when I returned. I highly recommend her services for any pet owner.”

“Followed my instructions exactly. Went of her way to clean up garbage that I accidentally left out. She also brought in a package for me :))!! Everything was great!!”

“Melissa was clear and transparent about availability when making plans for her to drop in to care for our cat. She asked lots of questions and sent pictures with updates. She messaged us after we got home to make sure everything was ok. Our cat loved having her visit, thanks Melissa for caring for her like your own!”

“Jessica has cared for our cat Abbey 4 or 5 times now and every time I’m impressed with her great communication, professionalism, and — most importantly — how happy and well cared for Abbey is when we return.”

“Many Thanks to Dave for taking the time for his drop by visit for Marley... She truly took to you Dave... I think she remembers you from all that time ago when she was a tiny pup! Until next time :)”

“Kira is dependable, visits when she says she will, and looks after our cat with lots of affection. We’ve had Kira look after our cat before and will do so again when we need someone.”

“Eva was great with our two cats! Great communication and updates with each visit. Really appreciated the photos. Would definitely recommend Eva to look after your fur babies!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes and personalities, including Golden Retrievers, Corgis, and my own Old English Sheepdog. I really enjoy playing, walking, and spending time with dogs, and being around them always makes me happy. Since moving away from home, I miss my own dog a lot, so taking care of pets feels especially meaningful to me. I always make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. As a recent college graduate, I have a very flexible schedule to focus on pet care! I'm currently moving, so I cannot host pets at my home, but I am fully available for dog walking, drop-ins, and house sitting at your place. I can easily adapt to any routine you and your pet need! I’m currently staying in a temporary place and getting ready to move into a new house, so unfortunately my current living situation isn’t suitable for hosting dogs overnight.
“I have nothing but positive things to say about Piper. She was great with both of our cats while we were away and always gave an informative updates after their visits. Both of our cats are particular in their own way and Piper easily adapted to their needs. 10s across the board!”

“Ruomai took such great care of our cats over the weekend! They were doing great when we got home and I really appreciated her giving them so much attention and sending us photos and updates! They are looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks and we will certainly use ruomai’s services going forward! ❤️”

“Wenge & Changhe are fantastic pet sitters! Wenge‘s service is as wonderful as her beauty. The response time is incredibly quick, making the entire booking process effortless and stress-free. They were always available to answer my questions and provided updates without me even having to ask. It truly gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such capable hands!”

“Behnaz responds quickly, and clearly has a love of animals, with the added bonus of being a vet before moving to Canada. She has been patient and understanding about our rescue dog’s poor leash skills and reactivity towards other dogs.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Waterloo
I asked Lixing for drop-in visits during my business trip and she has been very helpful, being always punctual and taking good care of my cats. After each visit she also wrote detailed and thoughtful reports. So I could stay at ease during my absence from home and I’m really grateful for her great job!

Wei-Chien is amazing and we are truly going to miss having her take care of our cats in the future since she is moving 😭. She is so reliable and detailed in her reports you have the best peace of mind that your family is being cared for while you are away. You cannot go wrong with Wei-Chien!

Piper has looked after our Maggie several times, and we always feel comfortable knowing she is in such caring and reliable hands. She genuinely cares about Maggie and is always offering to do extra things around the house. On our most recent trip, she checked on Maggie twice a day. On the last night, just as she was about to leave, our smoke detectors started going off. Even though we were not answering because I was away from my phone, Piper stayed well past her scheduled time and kept trying to reach us until we were able to connect and resolve the situation. We are so grateful for her patience, kindness, and dedication. We highly recommend Piper! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We keep coming back to Faryn for a reason! She's looked after our cats several times now and is always fantastic. The updates and photos she sends are a real highlight, you can tell she genuinely loves the animals in her care. We always come home to happy, relaxed cats. Couldn't recommend her more! :)

Sandra is an amazing and attentive cat-favourite! She looks after my 2, particularly energetic and anxious, cats (who love her) while I’m away and gives me such peace of mind. My cats are nearly identical, but only one gets medication, and with Sandra I never have to worry about them being given to the wrong one.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
