I have been sitting using Rover for a few months, but have years of pet care experience. My family has owned dogs for 8 years and I’ve walked 2 or 3 dogs several times a week since then! I’ve also assisted family friends with walking and drop-ins for feeding and sitting. On Rover I’ve now had the chance to meet many of your furry friends and gain more experience with different breeds. I am a long distance runner and would also be happy to run with your dogs (once per day) if the extra exercise would benefit them. I have done this with my family’s 2 high energy dogs and it’s worked out well.

I can’t care for pets in my home, but I am very happy to petsit in your home! I will watch your pet with care and take their personality/conditions into account. I am very vigilant when it comes to entering and exiting as I know many pets can be escape artists! I send consistent updates and photos. My standard during housesitting is 2 times per day with 5+ photos, but I’m happy to follow your lead on the amount of updates you would like. I know it can be hard to go away and not see your pet! During drop ins and walks, I update on all the details of what occurred during the visit and how your pet is doing, along with several photos.
Ratings and reviews
Linnea looked after our house and two active dogs for 10 days and did a great job. She walked and ran with both dogs (which is not easy), bathed them when needed, and gave them lots of care and attention. She also fed our fish and watered our plants. We were very pleased and would definitely use her again!
Linnea was great with my cat! I felt totally comfortable leaving him in her care. She was very quick at responding, followed all instructions I left, and provided detailed updates with lots of photos! I would definitely recommend her :)
Our first experience with Rover and we were delighted to find Linnea. She quickly set up a meet and greet as she was in the neighbourhood. On the night of the sitting, Linnea arrived promptly and began watching Matisse. She handled his puppy behaviour well, and was cuddling him when we got home. They walked and played over the few hours we were away, Matisse’s first time being with someone other than us since he came home. Linnea is a confident, capable person, with a clear live for dogs. Will happily have her take care of Matisse the next time we need a sitter.

Linnea was great with my dog, Capri! She was very accommodating and Capri really enjoyed her time with Linnea. She provided very helpful frequent updates that was helpful to understand how the visit was going.

Schedule
I am a fourth year undergrad engineering student currently working an internship until mid-December, so I will be available mornings before 9:30 (I’m happy to do early walks or drop ins) and afternoons after 4. I may have midday availability depending on where you’re located. I will be free all of weekends. After that I will go back to studying so will have much more time and availability to stay in your home more of the time while housesitting, or for midday walks and drop-ins.
