“Stephanie was great! She helped me with drop ins/walks and I felt she was very communicative and reliable. She was sweet to my two pups/took the time to get comfortable with them, as they can be scared of strangers. Would recommend her!”

“Kira is dependable, visits when she says she will, and looks after our cat with lots of affection. We’ve had Kira look after our cat before and will do so again when we need someone.”

“Shannon is a great dog sitter! I have three barky dogs that can be nervous around new people. They warmed up quickly to Shannon during the meet and greet and didn't bark at all when she arrived for her first check in. I feel very comfortable having Shannon take care of my precious pups and will definitely hire her again.”

“Wenge & Changhe are fantastic pet sitters! Wenge‘s service is as wonderful as her beauty. The response time is incredibly quick, making the entire booking process effortless and stress-free. They were always available to answer my questions and provided updates without me even having to ask. It truly gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such capable hands!”

“Hugo was excellent. He quickly agreed to meet with us and we immediately felt completely at ease with having him as a caregiver for our dog and cat. He was able to do a sane day drop in and sent photos that showed how good he is with the pets. Looking forward to having him come back again soon!”

“Behnaz responds quickly, and clearly has a love of animals, with the added bonus of being a vet before moving to Canada. She has been patient and understanding about our rescue dog’s poor leash skills and reactivity towards other dogs.”

“Aliyah took care of my Bunny when I was away, dropping in daily to change his litter box, feed him and give him some company. She did an excellent job and was very reliable.”

“This was our first time leaving our fur babies and using Rover. We met Sarah before our trip and introduced her to Ollie & Oscar kitties. They took very well to her. She maintained the house and litter box and fed them with care in our absence. We received daily picture and video updates which made us so happy and could tell that they were really warming up to her. I cannot recommend Sarah enough! THANK YOU 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

About: I have been taking care of my own cats and dogs since the age of 7. In my home town, I have 3 dogs and 8 cats and here in Waterloo I have 1 cat that me and my roommates take care of everyday! I have experience in walking both dogs and cats, feeding them, and playing with them. I am able to enforce rules and routines that are set for the pets, and I am ultimately a huge pet lover as someone who has grown up with pets her entire life. I am currently a full-time student, but do pet-sitting as a part time job! I am available Monday-Wednesday after 2:30 pm, Thursdays 7:00 am-1:00 pm. I am available on select weekends as I do go out of town often. A weekend booking would need be made at least a week in advance so that I can assess my schedule! I will do my absolute best to keep their schedules the same as usual: following proper feeding schedules, walking schedules, cleaning up after them, and providing special care if needed! I also love playing with animals, so play time really is a breeze!
“Shannon did an absolutely stellar job taking car of my cat. She sent detailed updates with a variety of photos and it was so clear my cat was comfortable with her. She also goes above and beyond and made cute little toys and left treats which was insanely sweet and thoughtful. It's clear she's passionate about her job and taking care of others pets! I'm very thankful and felt so reassured knowing my cat was so well taken care of.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Waterloo
Alexandra had quick response times and clear communication. She also accepted my last minute drop in visit, and was very polite and understanding about it. My dog was super energetic and happy during and after the visit, which isn’t common for him after meeting new people. Will book again!

When you're headed out of town, there can be many stressors. Booking Shannon is a guaranteed way to alleviate those concerns that pertain to the well being of your special furry friends. I can't emphasize enough how excellent, thoughtful, detailed and caring Shannon is. Knowing she will drop by home and visit with our 2 labs gives such a huge sense of relief. Highly, highly recommend!

Rayane has been such a pleasure to work with. We got our pup when he was just 8 weeks old, and she cared for him up until 6 months. If I could, I would have her drop in for the rest of his days. She’s punctual, respectful and provides updates everyday. You never have to wonder if your pets are being cared for because you KNOW she cares for them like her own!!!! 100% recommend to anyone thinking about bringing in Rayane to care for their fur babies!!! ❤️

Hugo was excellent. He quickly agreed to meet with us and we immediately felt completely at ease with having him as a caregiver for our dog and cat. He was able to do a sane day drop in and sent photos that showed how good he is with the pets. Looking forward to having him come back again soon!

Iza is absolutely great! We were completely stress-free the entire time, knowing our three small dogs were in such great hands. Our dogs usually have a hard time eating when we're away, but dinner time with Iza was always good, and she was always on time. She showered them with lots of petting and love, and they had a blast playing and spending cuddle time on the sofa. She also handled cleaning and feeding the dogs with such care. We especially appreciated all the pictures she sent, which showed us just how happy, calm, and, most importantly, how well they were eating with her. We would highly recommend Iza to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter ;)

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
