About: I have a lot of experience taking care of different animals throughout my life, raised my mom's puppy (the poodle you can see in some of my pictures) and I've taken care of my best friends cat ever since I was 7/8 years old and I've always loved all animals. I'm happy to go for really long walks and play with animals for as much as they need. I'm currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to take care of any pet that needs love and attention, and if I do find a job I'll still have plenty of time to take care of your pets as I love beeing outdoors and going on walks :) I will always be available to play and walk with your pet (if it is a pet that needs walks). I'll make sure your pet gets the care and love they deserve :)
“Abby had a great visit with Ash! She came home happy, and it was nice knowing she was being so well looked after. You can tell Ashley really loves dogs. Will definitely book with her again!”
“Sunny kindly accommodated our day before request and accepted some late adjustments. She made our boys very happy to have time outdoors, go for a walk and have much loved company & playtime. The proof was in the many lovely pictures we received of them. We were reassured knowing they were well cared for during our extended day away. It was so much easier than packing them up to be boarded, we got ourselves ready and went to our event, and weee able to return home, all together with nothing else to think about. Thanks again Sunny!”

“Lynn did drop-in visits with our cat, Reggie, for a weekend and we were so happy with her care, patience and communication. She was great listening to Reggie's needs during the meet and greet and he was comfortable in her presence. Lynn was quick communicating after each visit and in-between. We haven't had a sitter successfully play with Reggie so when she sent photos of him showing off his hunting skills we knew he was enjoying the time with her which gave us overwhelming relief. We will definitely be contacting Lynn in the future!”

About: Hi, thanks for stopping by my profile ☺️ I’m Sindokht, 32 years old. I work remotely and have a deep love for animals I grew up around all kinds of pets since childhood, and as an adult I’ve had both dogs and cats of my own. On other pet sitting apps, I’ve cared for animals for extended stays, from 10 days to a full month, and I have 15+ five star reviews. I’ve been lucky to meet wonderful, kind families along the way. My priority is making sure you feel completely at ease while you’re traveling or away for work. While you’re gone, I’ll send photos and videos, and I genuinely enjoy the time spent with my new furry friend 😄 Through my pet sitting experience, I’ve cared for different breeds, as well as senior dogs and puppies. My father was a colonel, and I’m his daughter through and through so rest assured, your dog’s routine will be maintained exactly the way you want it 😄 I’ll leave your home just as clean as I found it honestly, probably cleaner! Languages: English, persian, French Because I work remotely, my schedule is flexible. I am home throughout the day, which allows me to seamlessly integrate full time pet sitting into my weekly routine. Days include walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles all on your pet’s usual schedule. Extra care for seniors and special needs pets, with photo/video updates so you know they’re happy.☺️
“Our big Airedale is usually pretty hyper around new people. The second Justine walked in the door, he fell in love with her and was so calm because of her demeanour. We needed someone who was kind but firm with our strong boy, and with Justine being an experienced vet tech and horse enthusiast, she was just what we needed (if she can handle horses and animals stressed at the vet, she can handle our excitable dog!). On top of her wonderful personality, experience, and confidence, she’s a great communicator and very reliable for scheduling and planning walks. And, even when the weather isn’t great for a walk, she finds other ways to burn our dog’s energy. Would recommend Justine to anyone because of how reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely kind and capable she is! Thank you, Justine! So glad we found you!”

“We entrusted Victoria with our kitties because of her experience with older cats and her overall pet care experience in general. She is super knowledgeable in animal behaviors and provided us daily feedback on our ladies' wellbeing. She sent adorable photos each day and our little old lady totally took to her, which was very important to me. Everything was taken care of exactly as requested and we are so happy with the care our cats received. We came home to two very happy and content cats! We will definitely be rebooking Victoria in future and will recommend her to all cats owners.”

“Rayane was amazing with our nervous elderly dog Chester. She took the time to bond with him and provided him with cuddles while we were away. I would recommend Rayane and her sister to anyone. Reliable, understanding and great communication.”

“Randi was wonderful! She took great care of my cat Millie while we were away on vacation, and provided updates and photos daily. We felt assured that Millie was in good hands! We won’t hesitate to book her again.”

“Megan is an Outstanding Pet Sitter! I can't say enough good things about Megan! she took amazing care of my dog, Lucy, while I was away. From the very beginning, I could tell Lucy was in loving and capable hands. She got plenty of walks, playtime, and was absolutely spoiled with treats (in the best way!). Megan kept me updated with photos, videos and little notes, which really put my mind at ease. Lucy looked so happy and relaxed every time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and thoughtful pet sitter!”

“Emma is great with my dogs, always sends pictures and updates me on how the visit went. She is very responsive on the app and was always willing to work with me around my schedule that changes often. I would give her 10 stars if I could :)”

About: I love animals and walking. I enjoy looking at the world through their eyes. I am student at York studying conservation and resource management. Walking is meditative and even better when accompanied by a friendly dog. I am responsible and punctual. I have taken care of my own pets and as well as other peoples pets. (DOGS, TURTLES, & FISH). I have more experience walking small and big dogs. I will be happy to take your dog to the park and make sure she or he is getting enough exercise. Thank you and best of luck. I am really good with dogs and enjoy my time spent with them. This would really help create some additional income, but I am mainly doing this for fun.
“Behnaz responds quickly, and clearly has a love of animals, with the added bonus of being a vet before moving to Canada. She has been patient and understanding about our rescue dog’s poor leash skills and reactivity towards other dogs.”

“Drew was very patient with our dog Buddy who took some time warming up to her. We really liked the way Drew communicated with us every visit with photos. As the week went by she got to know our dog better and better. We felt that we had left our dog with a family member. We would not hesitate to recommend Drew - she really made is feel she cared about our dog. She went above and beyond.”
About: Hi there, we are Eden and Jacob! Why book one sitter when you can have two? Jacob works from home full-time, and I’m currently in grad school — together, we have plenty of time (and love!) to share with your furry family members. We were an active foster home with the KW Humane Society for over a year and absolutely adore animals of all kinds. We have extensive experience with both energetic puppies/kittens and gentle senior pets, and we’re comfortable administering medications as needed. We’d be happy to help with walks, boarding, or other pet care services — even on short notice! We also have our own vehicles for easy pick-ups or vet visits if required. Thanks so much for considering us — we can’t wait to meet you and your pet! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine! Jacob works from home, and I am a graduate student, which means we’re available for bathroom breaks and attention throughout the day. We love taking daily walks after work and often explore local hiking trails — we’d be thrilled to have a furry friend join us for those adventures! When caring for pets in our home, we make sure they feel comfortable and part of the family. We follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, and bedtime routines as closely as possible to keep them happy and at ease. Our home has a set of stairs leading to the main living area, so pets should be comfortable navigating a few steps. If we’re caring for pets in a client’s home, we respect your space and follow your instructions closely — whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, providing medication, or maintaining your pet’s favourite routines. Our goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for, no matter where they are! 🐾

“Andres is hands down the most caring, attentive, and responsible sitter I've had. When I picked my dog up, he was noticeably more tired/calm and had an empty bladder. Andres truly goes above and beyond not just in service but also in treatment to my dog, which is a rare quality to find in a dog carer. Andres goes above and beyond; He and his girlfriend are amazing. Will be my go-to sitter for sure. Thank you Andres! My dog misses you and wishes he was with you haha”

Carina was absolutely amazing with Hennessy and Brandy! 🐾❤️ I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her care, and it was so nice being able to relax and not worry about them. She was reliable, caring, and clearly treated them like they were her own. Both dogs were happy and well taken care of, which means everything to me. I would 100% trust Carina with them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone wonderful to care for their pets!

Our cat and dog miss Linnea’s regular visits. Maya walks to the door around the time Linnea would show up. Linnea was patient with our cat to come around. In the end he wanted cuddles and belly rubs. Communication between us was excellent, we enjoyed the daily updates and images of our fur babies. Linnea is reliable and we will book with her again in the future.

It was my first time using Rover and not having a friend or family care for Luci who is a bit nervous and takes time to warm up to new people. Piper made it easy with her professionalism, excellent communication and confidence. I really appreciated the thoughtful notes and the photos and will definitely book Piper again.

We had a great experience! Mariana was wonderful with our dog. She is incredibly responsive, responsible, and easy to communicate with. It was clear our dog was well cared for and in great hands. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!

I recently moved to Kitchener with my dog and kitten, so finding someone who is reliable and trustworthy to enter my home and look after my furbabies was huge for me. Rayane has been amazing and my animals love her! I always look forward to the photo updates after her stay :) thank you Rayane!

Alexandra had quick response times and clear communication. She also accepted my last minute drop in visit, and was very polite and understanding about it. My dog was super energetic and happy during and after the visit, which isn’t common for him after meeting new people. Will book again!

Hugo was excellent. He quickly agreed to meet with us and we immediately felt completely at ease with having him as a caregiver for our dog and cat. He was able to do a sane day drop in and sent photos that showed how good he is with the pets. Looking forward to having him come back again soon!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
