I am currently a full-time student, but do pet-sitting as a part time job! I am available Monday-Wednesday after 2:30 pm, Thursdays 7:00 am-1:00 pm. I am available on select weekends as I do go out of town often. A weekend booking would need be made at least a week in advance so that I can assess my schedule!

A typical day
I love to take walks with dogs, which allows them to stretch their legs, exercise, and get some well earned outside time. I also love playing with dogs, so play time would just consist of doing activities that the dog is used to. For cats, I personally have a feisty cat at home so she loves play fighting, and is very interested in playing fetch as well! She loves her strings attached to a stick as well, it really allows her to believe that she’s out in the field hunting!

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of my own cats and dogs since the age of 7. In my home town, I have 3 dogs and 8 cats and here in Waterloo I have 1 cat that me and my roommates take care of everyday! I have experience in walking both dogs and cats, feeding them, and playing with them. I am able to enforce rules and routines that are set for the pets, and I am ultimately a huge pet lover as someone who has grown up with pets her entire life.

Alexandra had quick response times and clear communication. She also accepted my last minute drop in visit, and was very polite and understanding about it. My dog was super energetic and happy during and after the visit, which isn’t common for him after meeting new people. Will book again!
