“Another wonderful visit from Daniela after my cat had just had surgery. She was very careful and ensured he received his pain meds on time as I had to go out of town for a night shortly after. She’s absolutely wonderful, I’m so happy I came across her profile last summer. She’s my go to for my little senior fur babies whenever they need a check in, or any time my pup needs a walk! Thanks again Daniela for a wonderful experience - my fur babies adore you!”

“Eva is the best! I am always so happy when she is available to come see my dog. He is always happy to hangout with her! We have rebooked multiple times and will continue to do so. Thank you Eva!”

“Lizzy exceeded all expectations and made my first experience leaving my cats for an extended period completely stress-free. From the start, she demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism, putting my mind at ease. Each day, Lizzy sent adorable pictures of my cats, giving me peace of mind and keeping me connected to them while I was away. Her detailed messages were thorough, updating me on how they were doing, what they were eating, and any other observations she made. Not only did she meticulously follow all of our instructions, but she also went above and beyond in ensuring the cats were comfortable and well cared for. Working with Lizzy was seamless—her communication was prompt, her attention to detail unmatched, and her warm demeanor truly reassuring. I cannot recommend her highly enough for anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. I think my kitties already miss her!”

“Bren was super the whole week. She went above and beyond looking after my babies. The pictures were great. She was there for every appointment and looked after them as if they were her own (maybe even better).”

“Abby had a great visit with Ash! She came home happy, and it was nice knowing she was being so well looked after. You can tell Ashley really loves dogs. Will definitely book with her again!”
“Ruomai took such great care of our cats over the weekend! They were doing great when we got home and I really appreciated her giving them so much attention and sending us photos and updates! They are looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks and we will certainly use ruomai’s services going forward! ❤️”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, and most of my experience comes from caring for my own pets. Over the years, I’ve had Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, Labradors, Dachshunds, Shih Tzus, parrots, birds, and turtles, and I’ve also looked after my neighbors’ cats. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, including senior dogs and dogs with disabilities, and I always treat every pet with patience, love, and care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. Even though I work full time, I’m organized and make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and care they need. I enjoy spending time with animals and always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for pets in my home. I am located 1 min away from Maclean Park, which offers great walking trails and a dog park for exercise and outdoor enrichment. I follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. My goal is to make every pet feel at home, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

“Hugo was excellent. He quickly agreed to meet with us and we immediately felt completely at ease with having him as a caregiver for our dog and cat. He was able to do a sane day drop in and sent photos that showed how good he is with the pets. Looking forward to having him come back again soon!”

“Ze Lin is very thorough and reliable. She arrived on time and sent detailed updates during every visit. She’s an expert in playing with cats and my kitties absolutely enjoyed her company. I received lots of cute photos and videos. And she even helped taking care of my beta fish! I highly recommend booking with Ze Lin to have peace of mind when you are out of town ☺️”

“Randi was wonderful! She took great care of my cat Millie while we were away on vacation, and provided updates and photos daily. We felt assured that Millie was in good hands! We won’t hesitate to book her again.”

About: Hi! I’m an adventurous, bubbly, and caring person who loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and, most importantly, caring for animals. I work with children, so patience, responsibility, and creating a fun, safe environment come naturally to me. Your pet will be treated like family, with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and cuddles. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or relaxing at home, I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! Pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I have a dog named Milo, so my days already include walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure he gets plenty of love and attention. Caring for Milo has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and treating every pet like family. I’ll care for your pet with the same love and attention I give my own. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take the time to learn their routine, follow your instructions closely, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed. Whether in my home or yours, I’ll provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh water, and lots of cuddles. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.

About: Hi! I'm Taya, a 37-year-old lifelong dog owner offering dog walking, pet sitting, and in-home pet care in KW and the surrounding area. I've spent my life raising large breeds, and the dogs that have shaped me most weren't the easy ones. I know from personal experience the anxiety that comes with finding a trusted person to take care of and understand the needs of a strong and reactive dog. My Cane Corso (147 lbs) was reactive — dogs, bicycles, scooters, you name it — and together we developed what I call defensive walking: staying proactive, reading the environment ahead, and keeping situations calm before they escalate. I know how to manage powerful dogs on a leash and how to advocate for reactive dogs in the real world. My Rottweiler had seizures, which means I'm also experienced in recognizing and responding to seizure episodes and comfortable administering medication on a schedule or in an emergency. I don't panic — I've been there. What I offer: Dog walking (including reactive and large breed dogs) Pet sitting at your home Medication administration if required I'm a responsible, experienced dog person who understands that your dog isn't just a pet. I am currently unemployed by choice. I have spent a few years in Australia and recently returned to Canada. I have all the time to dedicate towards pet care. I have a fully fenced yard with my home, with no other animals here. At your home, I will follow your rules. Pats and cuddles on the couch if it's allowed; if not, we will sit on the floor and cuddle.
“Megan is an Outstanding Pet Sitter! I can't say enough good things about Megan! she took amazing care of my dog, Lucy, while I was away. From the very beginning, I could tell Lucy was in loving and capable hands. She got plenty of walks, playtime, and was absolutely spoiled with treats (in the best way!). Megan kept me updated with photos, videos and little notes, which really put my mind at ease. Lucy looked so happy and relaxed every time. It’s clear she truly loves animals and treat them like their own. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book Megan again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and thoughtful pet sitter!”

“Kira is dependable, visits when she says she will, and looks after our cat with lots of affection. We’ve had Kira look after our cat before and will do so again when we need someone.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kitchener
It was my first time using Rover and not having a friend or family care for Luci who is a bit nervous and takes time to warm up to new people. Piper made it easy with her professionalism, excellent communication and confidence. I really appreciated the thoughtful notes and the photos and will definitely book Piper again.

Alexandra had quick response times and clear communication. She also accepted my last minute drop in visit, and was very polite and understanding about it. My dog was super energetic and happy during and after the visit, which isn’t common for him after meeting new people. Will book again!

Hugo was excellent. He quickly agreed to meet with us and we immediately felt completely at ease with having him as a caregiver for our dog and cat. He was able to do a sane day drop in and sent photos that showed how good he is with the pets. Looking forward to having him come back again soon!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
