My Journey: I’ve loved animals since childhood. My first dog was in my care from the day he opened his eyes until his last breath at age 8. My passion led me to the Bahamas, where I helped rescue 90 plus dogs (ages a few days old to 9 months), including syringe-feeding critically ill and really young puppies. I even adopted one of these rescues! I’ve also fostered 5 rescue dogs, each with unique behavioral or medical needs, so I deeply understand their extra care requirements. Special Needs Expertise: Fully comfortable with: - Aggression/reactivity (dogs) - Food guarding - Medical needs (medication, syringe-feeding) - Rescue dogs with trauma - Special diets & timed feedings Beyond Dogs & Cats: I’m a proud multi-species pet parent! My home includes: -Chameleon -Baby bearded dragon -Hedgehog -1 turtle + fish tank - axolotl Also used to have 6 jumping spiders and a Dwarf hamster Need care for reptiles, small animals, or exotics? Sara took great care of our 2 dogs over her weekend home visits. She sent Rover cards during each visit and let us know when she was there. Our dogs were well looked after.

Sara took good care of our kitties, was flexible and we appreciated getting daily updates and pictures! We have not used Rover previously and typically have friends or family check in on our cats when we’re away so initially we were a bit nervous. Sara came to do a meet and greet and all of her positive reviews and return clients was also reassuring. Thanks Sara for your help!

Schedule
Availability: Part-time remote work = flexible schedule! I’m free most mornings/afternoons and some evenings for walks, playtime, or checkins monday to Friday and some weekends :)

Safety, Trust & Environment In My Home: -Large Securely fenced yard, toxin-free space. - I have Quiet zones for anxious pets. In Your Home: - Strict adherence to your pet’s routine/environment. - Security focus (locked doors, alarms). - Daily updates + photo/video reports. - Medical emergency protocols pre-agreed. Safety First: I have 4 large crates and can separate dogs for calm-down time. My own two friendly dogs love playmates but respect boundaries.

My Care Style: -Active Adventures: I prioritize long walks (morning + evening) at trails like Bloomingdale to fully engage your pup. My fenced yard is available, but walks better stimulate and tire them! -Socialization Options: Happy to walk dogs solo or in small, compatible groups (with your consent).
