About: Since birth, I have grown up in a household surrounded by both cats and dogs. Seeing first hand how much work our furry friends can be, I was inspired to help others! I behan pet sitting and walking for my family members, neighbours, and friends, and extended my services to others in the community is January 2024. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friends! I graduated for the University of Waterloo this spring and am currently working part time. My schedule is very flexible! I am a very active individual who enjoys spending time outside, walking, and playing with animals. I am a very trustworthy individual who acknowledges and respects that all owners and their pets have different needs and am therefore more than happy to accommodate different requests and expectations.
About: For 15 years, I have worked as a trusted elementary school teacher who cares deeply for my young students. I have also been relied upon for pet-sitting and dog-walking for a number of families for many years. Feeding, playing, exercising, cleaning, caring for all pets' needs. I am returning to my full time teaching job in September, which fills my days from 8 to 4, but I am fully available for overnight pet and house-sitting, as well as fully available on weekends! I ensure my own pets are comfortable and well cared for. When I stay in others' homes, I follow pets' routines and meet their needs.
About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. I grew up in a home with a total of 7 cats (yes, seven!), and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. On top of that, I’ve spent years dog sitting for friends and family. I know how important it is to find someone who truly cares for your pets the way you do. Whether it’s making sure your cat gets their quiet cuddle time, or your dog gets a good walk and plenty of play; I focus on keeping them happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always go the extra mile to make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. Your furry family member will be treated like one of my own! Pet care has always been a part of my daily routine! I’m currently on a career break at the moment and am very flexible to accommodate your pet’s needs. I know things like feeding, walks, and play time look for different for each pet. I stick to your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and comfortable while in my care. I also keep your home tidy and treat it with the same care and respect I would my own.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs I’ve never actually had my own but love to take care of them when possible and have for many friends. My schedule varies each month. Please check my calendar, and/or message me directly to verify your required dates. I enjoy taking dogs for walk or out to play. Walking, play in home or at the park, pets, changing the food/water, brushing, can give a bath, can give medicine if needed or any other requests for accommodation.
About: Growing up, I started my own dog-walking business in my neighborhood, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from a young age. Over the years, that passion has only grown stronger and evolved into extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. As a proud owner of Bengal cats, I understand the unique needs, energy levels, intelligence, and personalities that different pets require. I am comfortable providing enrichment, play, exercise, feeding, medication administration, and attentive daily care tailored to each animal's individual needs. I also have experience training and caring for a high-drive Doberman Pinscher, which has given me valuable knowledge in obedience training, structure, exercise requirements, and managing intelligent, energetic breeds. Working closely with a breed that thrives on consistency and engagement has strengthened my skills in reading canine behavior and building trust through positive reinforcement. One of my greatest strengths is my emotional intelligence when it comes to animals. I naturally connect with pets, understand their body language, and recognize when they need comfort, play, space, or reassurance. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own family member. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking companion, a reliable caregiver, or simply someone who will provide love and attention while you're away, I am committed to ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Work from home/self employment makes caring for animals a breeze! It also allows for the consistency they need and desire for breaks and play time. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a loving, clean, secure, and closely supervised environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for while you're away. When walking dogs, I always keep them safely leashed unless they are in a fully fenced and secure area approved by their owner. I am highly attentive during walks and outings, ensuring dogs are protected from potential hazards and are always under my supervision. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I am especially mindful of nervous, anxious, reactive, or sensitive pets. I pay close attention to body language and behavioral cues, allowing me to recognize potential triggers before they become stressful situations. Whether a dog needs extra patience, space from other dogs, a quieter walking route, or additional reassurance, I adapt my approach to help them feel safe and confident. My experience caring for a variety of breeds and temperaments has taught me the importance of consistency, trust, and positive reinforcement. I take the time to learn each pet's routines, preferences, and needs so I can provide personalized care that helps them feel at home. When your pet is with me, they will be treated like family with plenty of love, attention, exercise, and a safe environment where their well-being always comes first.

About: I 've been a dog owner for most of my life, growing up with family pets and later caring for dogs of my own. Spending time on a farm has also given me hands-on experience with a variety of animals, including dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Before our current dog, we had a rescue for about 8 years, so I understand the patience and care needed for dogs with anxiety or fearfulness. Creating a calm, safe, and reassuring environment is something I take seriously. I genuinely love helping other pet owners feel confident that their dogs are well cared for when they can't be home - whether that means providing a comfortable place to stay or getting them out for a fun, energizing walk during the day. I understand how stressful it can be to leave pets at home during the work day or when you go on vacation. I enjoy staying active and love walking or running with dogs, so your pup can get as much exercise and attention as they need. Our current dog is very friendly, used to having other dogs around, and would be thrilled to have a playmate. I work from home 3 out of 5 days a week but my schedule is flexible. Our dog is accustomed to being fed morning and night and is happy to be walked any time of the day or to roam our property. My yard is not fenced but we live on acreage so our dog tends to roam freely. For dogs who may not do well roaming we can use a leash or a rope to keep them safe. Happy to cater to pets needs to create a safe and happy environment in our home or theirs.
“Samantha was awesome! She asked great questions when she came for the meet and greet, making sure she got all the information that I forgot was important. Her visits were always right on time, and she sent detailed reports. She was super when one of my cats was sick, and definitely went above and beyond to make sure they were looked after. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had a lifelong experience with many animals. Having owned my own pup since she was a baby, I understand the unique challenges and joys of raising a dog. Additionally, growing up with two family owned dogs, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, chickens, and cats I have been given me a wealth of hands-on knowledge in different breeds and personalities. This background not only enhances my ability to connect with animals of all ages but also ensures that I can provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s needs. Your animals will feel right at home with me! Pet care is an essential part of my daily and weekly routine. With two dogs, I start each day with food, walks and playtime, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. My schedule also includes dedicated time for feeding and caring for our guinea pigs, cats, and ferrets, making sure each animal receives the love and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their routine as closely as possible, following their feeding and exercise schedules. I make sure to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and daily walks. I also keep the home clean and secure, monitoring for any safety hazards. Regular updates and communication with pet owners are key, ensuring they feel connected and reassured while they’re away. I make sure to treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: My family has always had a pet dog growing up (American Miniature Eskimo and Irish Wheaton Terriers). I always enjoy taking my family dogs on walks around the neighbourhood, hikes in the forest, and to dog parks to play. I also worked in animal husbandry part-time for two years at a reptile conservation centre (Scales Nature Park) so I have lots of experience handling and caring for reptiles and amphibians. I am taking most of the Winter off so will be available most days/weeks. I will always ensure gates are closed and locked before letting pets out as required. I will never let your pet off leash on a walk and will put myself between them and any potential threatening animals.

About: I have been working as a veterinary assistant for the past 5 years and am knowledgeable about pet first aid, emergency triage, and overall care. My Bachelors degree is in Animal Biology, where I learned about animal behaviour, health and nutrition. I also have been training service animals part time since 2015 and enjoy combining training with walking services. The majority of my service dog work is with puppies so I am prepared for all that comes along with a new puppy. I recently have gone back to school as a mature student. Most of my program is online so my schedule is very flexible and varies. For boarding and daycare: I have an apartment so your dog will need to go potty on a leash. I have a four year old mixed breed dog who loves having friends visit.

Madeline was so great. It was our first time leaving for full days since we got our new puppy. She took great care of both our puppy and our senior lady. She sent photos and gave us updates. It helped keep my mind at ease. She was also very flexible. I would highly recommend booking her for your furry friends.
