Amazing first pet sitter experience. Ashley was punctual, reliable and provided excellent communication throughout the week along with photos. She was patient, caring and kind with all of my pre-vacation communications and concerns. We felt at ease leaving our two cats and our home in her care. We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a trusted sitter and we would hire Ashley again in the future.

About: I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals of all kinds, and caring for them is truly my passion. I currently share my home with Toby, a playful 4-year-old dachshund, Charlie, my lovable cockapoo, a rescued rabbit, and two lively rescue kittens who are now a year old. Growing up, I was lucky enough to care for large breeds such as Newfoundlands, Leonbergers, Shepherds, and Dobermans—so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Along the way, I’ve also cared for hamsters, fish, and other small pets, always ensuring they lived happy, healthy, and long lives. From playful puppies to senior pets, and from furry companions to small critters, I provide loving, reliable, and experienced care for all animals. I’m currently in school and also work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends. My availability can vary, but I’m often free in the mornings and afternoons, and I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s routine. Caring for animals is a priority for me, so I’ll always make time to ensure they get the love, attention, and exercise they need Your pets’ safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a fenced-in yard that’s perfect for playtime, and two friendly dogs who love having company. My cats are relaxed around dogs of all sizes, and my boyfriend’s large dog often visits, so I’m experienced with pets big and small. If needed, I can crate your dog, and my home is already fully pet-proof thanks to my own animals. Whether your furry friend loves playmates or peace and quiet, I can provide the right setting for them to feel safe and cared for.

About: I have decades of cat and dog experience. Recently, our family dog crossed the rainbow bridge and I am hoping helping others' pets can help fill the void. I raised a dog from puppyhood, fostered a rescue, and have dogsat several family and friends' dogs. For now, I can offer evening, overnight and weekend pet care. My aim is to work from home full-time and so eventually I will be able to do more! All food, toys, walks, crating, etc. will be to your instructions. Safe playing is a great time to get to know each other. I am very much the "mom" when I have to be - dogs usually respond well to my queues, and I am available as a safe place for them. My place is an apartment above a couple shops downtown Elora. There are lots of green area or trails around the neighbourhood. There are three kids here 50% of the time (ages 10-15) who are experienced with pets. There are no other animals here.

About: Growing up, I started my own dog-walking business in my neighborhood, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from a young age. Over the years, that passion has only grown stronger and evolved into extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. As a proud owner of Bengal cats, I understand the unique needs, energy levels, intelligence, and personalities that different pets require. I am comfortable providing enrichment, play, exercise, feeding, medication administration, and attentive daily care tailored to each animal's individual needs. I also have experience training and caring for a high-drive Doberman Pinscher, which has given me valuable knowledge in obedience training, structure, exercise requirements, and managing intelligent, energetic breeds. Working closely with a breed that thrives on consistency and engagement has strengthened my skills in reading canine behavior and building trust through positive reinforcement. One of my greatest strengths is my emotional intelligence when it comes to animals. I naturally connect with pets, understand their body language, and recognize when they need comfort, play, space, or reassurance. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own family member. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking companion, a reliable caregiver, or simply someone who will provide love and attention while you're away, I am committed to ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Work from home/self employment makes caring for animals a breeze! It also allows for the consistency they need and desire for breaks and play time. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a loving, clean, secure, and closely supervised environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for while you're away. When walking dogs, I always keep them safely leashed unless they are in a fully fenced and secure area approved by their owner. I am highly attentive during walks and outings, ensuring dogs are protected from potential hazards and are always under my supervision. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, and I am especially mindful of nervous, anxious, reactive, or sensitive pets. I pay close attention to body language and behavioral cues, allowing me to recognize potential triggers before they become stressful situations. Whether a dog needs extra patience, space from other dogs, a quieter walking route, or additional reassurance, I adapt my approach to help them feel safe and confident. My experience caring for a variety of breeds and temperaments has taught me the importance of consistency, trust, and positive reinforcement. I take the time to learn each pet's routines, preferences, and needs so I can provide personalized care that helps them feel at home. When your pet is with me, they will be treated like family with plenty of love, attention, exercise, and a safe environment where their well-being always comes first.

Her visits were always right on time, and she sent detailed reports. She was super when one of my cats was sick, and definitely went above and beyond to make sure they were looked after. About: I 've been a dog owner for most of my life, growing up with family pets and later caring for dogs of my own. Spending time on a farm has also given me hands-on experience with a variety of animals, including dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Before our current dog, we had a rescue for about 8 years, so I understand the patience and care needed for dogs with anxiety or fearfulness. Creating a calm, safe, and reassuring environment is something I take seriously. I genuinely love helping other pet owners feel confident that their dogs are well cared for when they can't be home - whether that means providing a comfortable place to stay or getting them out for a fun, energizing walk during the day. I understand how stressful it can be to leave pets at home during the work day or when you go on vacation. I enjoy staying active and love walking or running with dogs, so your pup can get as much exercise and attention as they need. Our current dog is very friendly, used to having other dogs around, and would be thrilled to have a playmate. I work from home 3 out of 5 days a week but my schedule is flexible. Our dog is accustomed to being fed morning and night and is happy to be walked any time of the day or to roam our property. My yard is not fenced but we live on acreage so our dog tends to roam freely. For dogs who may not do well roaming we can use a leash or a rope to keep them safe. Happy to cater to pets needs to create a safe and happy environment in our home or theirs.

About: Hi, I'm Chelsey! I have over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience spanning in-home care, board and train programs, and doggy daycares. I share my own home with three dogs and two cats, so animals aren't just my work, they're my life. I'll be honest, I love animals more than most people, and every decision I make during the day is based on what's best for the pets in my care. I'm experienced with a variety of training tools and techniques, including e-collars, prong collars, and Gentle Leader walks, and I'm comfortable with all temperaments, from sweet, wiggly puppies to dogs who prefer not to be touched. I'm doing this because I genuinely love meeting new furry friends, and my long-term goal is to build my own business in the animal care world. I can't wait to meet your sweet babies! This would be my career, I would do this full time. I would make my schedule around the best intrest of my clients with flexible hours I have a large fenced in yard, i have a large park across the street from my house my dogs like to play offlwash on (i would have dogs on long lines if I was to bring them there) my husband is hone full time and we would work as a team to care for the animals the way the need. If that means I take my dogs to the park and your pup gets human love thats what we'll do. My dogs are very friendly and go to doggy daycare they are both fixed 1 female 1 male female is 3 this year my boy will be 2. They lost their sister last year and are always looking to make friends.

About: Hello! I’m Rachel, a full-time firefighter and proud dog mom. I’d describe myself as bubbly, down-to-earth, trustworthy, and reliable. I lead an active, healthy lifestyle and love spending time outdoors with my pup—whether that’s going for walks, hiking, or playing fetch at the park. I would love the opportunity to care for your dog and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well-loved. Please feel free to reach out with any questions! As a full-time firefighter, I work 8 24-hour shifts a month, which gives me lots of free time to give your pup plenty of attention, care, and exercise. About: Hi there! My name is Hunter, I am 25 years old and I have had experience taking care of my own pets/family pets since I was little. In the last 8 years is when I’ve began pet sitting for friends and family, and I have worked at a dog walking business. I was trained on grooming, group play, trail walks, dog walks, pet sitting and training dogs. I have always had a love for animals, and want to continue working with them after i’m done my schooling in the Veterinary field! I finished my year program in Animal Care & I am hoping to continue in the fall in a Vet Tech program. I don't have any of my own pets at the moment, so usually I am walking my family dogs with some of my spare time. I am a caring, focused person who can help you with making sure your fur babies are happy and safe, and have a fun time while you are away. I work a few days a week at a cafe, the shifts are not overly long & I have time before and after work/ my days off to help care for pets :) I care for pets with care and compassion, I am flexible with what I can provide and want to make the experience great for your specific pet’s needs!

Ashley went above and beyond for my fur babies while we were away on vacation. Paying special attention to each cats individual preferences and making sure each of them were taken care of. Multiple pictures and videos were provided as well as detailed updates throughout our trip. Ashley is a positive, kind and considerate person and I would recommend Ashley over and over again! When we got home both of our cats were very relaxed, happy and well cared for.
