As a Rover customer myself, I know the importance of finding the perfect sitter and the stress that can come with leaving your furry friends behind while away at work or on vacation. I am a highschool teacher so my schedule is open all summer unless otherwise indicated on my calendar. During the school year, weekdays would be limited to early morning or after school hours. But I am always happy to find a suitable time that works best for you and your furry friend! I am extremely careful when entering and exiting clients homes, ensuring that all doors are closed and locked. I will make sure your furry friend is well taken care of and loved! I am also happy to provide any other small services such as bringing in the mail or watering house plants while you are away.

My schedule also includes dedicated time for feeding and caring for our guinea pigs, cats, and ferrets, making sure each animal receives the love and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their routine as closely as possible, following their feeding and exercise schedules. I make sure to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and daily walks. I also keep the home clean and secure, monitoring for any safety hazards. Regular updates and communication with pet owners are key, ensuring they feel connected and reassured while they’re away. I make sure to treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I've been around dogs since day 1. Had dogs of every shape and size. I have worked in grooming, pet retail and have volunteered at vet clinics. I have always done pet care. For all of my pets since I was a kid. Wake and breath animals. For my dogs, and cats I alway make sure everyone gets what they need, even when I'm not feeling up to anything that day. I care for my pets like they are my children but thats common now! My whole day is focused around them. Making sure they get everything they need mentally and physically. Honestly I'm an instructions person so leave a list and I'll do my best!

About: Hi! My name is Selina. I love absolutely animals and enjoy taking care of them, they are the purest of souls. I have two of my own little cat furbabies, a black and white tux and a Mainecoon. In the past I’ve had other pets, three dogs, Guinea pigs, hamsters and rats. Please feel free to msg me for any inquiries! I work for the Waterloo Catholic Board during the school year, so availability will vary. From September-June, during the week I am available from 430pm onward, and full availability on weekends. During the summer months from July-August, I have full availability. Please refer to my schedule regarding bookings. Please provide me with all information when looking to book! About: I worked at a pet store for 6 years, and gained knowledge for cats and dogs. I’ve also had my dog for 8 years, she is a German Shepard/rottweiler. Different things we trained her on is, “indoor bark” so she does a whisper bark to not be loud. We trained her to be good with kids since I have 3 human babies. We have trained her to “walk beside” so she is not pulling. For other dogs, I did an over night stay for a 7 year old boxer, and I’ve dog walked a cocker spaniel who is 9 months. I have experience from puppy - senior dogs and can follow direction really well. I used to work at a pet store full time before I got my 3rd human baby. Everyday, I would be helping and answering questions for customers to help with there pet needs. Everyday I take care of my dog and my cat, whether that is playing, go on walks, take the dog outside, clean up after the dog outside, clean the cat litter, clean pet fur off of everything, bathe, nails ect. Pets have been in my life forever and has always been apart of my daily routine. As long as your dog is kid friendly, they are more than welcome to stay here. I have my own vehicle so I can take the dog to the off leash park (if client is comfortable), I can walk the dog on long walks if they need it. Throughout my care, I will send updates constantly and whatever you need me to do I will do it, I would rather make the clients life a lot easier to there needs as well :)

About: I have been a loving pet owner since I was a child. Recently I have enjoyed dog sitting for friends and family. Love doing it. I'm semi retired and looking to fill in some time during the day. I'm reliable and would enjoy the outside exercise. I've owned both big and small dogs. . I do have a fenced in yard with a sliding door access. I currently do not have any animals so I can give your dog complete attention.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've surrounded myself with pets my entire life and love seeing them and their people happy. I am happy to help with both dogs and pocket pets or small animals, but due to allergies, I am unable to help with cats. I am available all day on Mondays and Fridays through the week as well as weekends currently, and looking to add more week days shortly. Also available some evenings after 6pm. My home has a large fenced yard with dog door access and I have multiple rooms which can be closed off. I have 3 small dogs at home who enjoy polite company.

About: Hi, I'm Chelsey! I have over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience spanning in-home care, board and train programs, and doggy daycares. I share my own home with three dogs and two cats, so animals aren't just my work, they're my life. I'll be honest, I love animals more than most people, and every decision I make during the day is based on what's best for the pets in my care. I'm experienced with a variety of training tools and techniques, including e-collars, prong collars, and Gentle Leader walks, and I'm comfortable with all temperaments, from sweet, wiggly puppies to dogs who prefer not to be touched. I'm doing this because I genuinely love meeting new furry friends, and my long-term goal is to build my own business in the animal care world. I can't wait to meet your sweet babies! This would be my career, I would do this full time. I would make my schedule around the best intrest of my clients with flexible hours I have a large fenced in yard, i have a large park across the street from my house my dogs like to play offlwash on (i would have dogs on long lines if I was to bring them there) my husband is hone full time and we would work as a team to care for the animals the way the need. If that means I take my dogs to the park and your pup gets human love thats what we'll do. My dogs are very friendly and go to doggy daycare they are both fixed 1 female 1 male female is 3 this year my boy will be 2. They lost their sister last year and are always looking to make friends.
