About: I have been a pet parent all of my life. I grew up on a farm with every sort of animal. My parents bred Dachshunds and American Eskimos. Currently, I am mom to a rescued Frenchie girl with a heart murmur. She has a Grade 3 of 6 heart murmur which makes me especially familiar with special needs animals. Being a Frenchie mom also means that I am aware of the special needs of Brachycephalic dog breeds (especially during the hot summer months). I worked in a privately owned holistic pet store for more than four years helping customers find the right food, treats and remedies for their fur babies. There is no more satisfying feeling than the results of the help I provided. Seeing the transformation of the fur baby and the happiness that it brought to their pet parent ❤️ I also fostered for Niagara Dog Rescue for a brief period before finding my forever girls. I dealt with dogs with behavioural issues and showed them that not all humans hurt or leave. No request or care detail is ever overlooked. Post walk paw cleaning, face fold cleaning, special post walk treats... Clean water from a freshly washed bowl. Whatever your pup needs will be done. I practice Cesar Millan's techniques and am a calm and confident walker. However; I also know how super important it is for pups to have the opportunity for enrichment through sniffing. All dogs are the cute, cuddle kind. I can't wait to meet yours! I'm home full time other than when walking or checking on fur friends. Your fur family will be able to get as much time and love as they need while you are out/away. In my home, your fur babies become adopted family and will be given the freedom to roam and cuddle wherever they like. If your fur baby needs the safe space of a crate, that is completely doable.

Aurora loves other dogs and is not aggressive at all(she's not spayed). I am available around the clock to keep an eye on your furbabies and/or have a vehicle to visit your home for walks and anything else your pet needs. My cats keep to themselves but do not appreciate being chased, I can arrange to keep them in a separate room if need be. About: Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am an experienced dog owner who runs my own training, grooming and pet care business in New Hamburg called Canine Community Corner. We offer a wide variety of services, such as boarding, walking, drop in visits, bath and brush, and nail trim services. We also carry a wide variety of pet care products in our storefront, most of which are made by other local small businesses. In my home, I have 2 dogs and a cat. In the past I have also had a bearded dragon, a chameleon, hamster, rats, and mice, so I am experienced with a wide range of animals. During their stay with us, your pet will receive flexible 5 star care, depending on their needs and preferences. My dogs and I are avid hikers, and often spend our free time out on walks through the forest. If your dog prefers to stay home, we are also able to provide a calm and quiet environment for the duration of their stay. I also have a wide variety of actives they can do at my facility in the case of bad weather, including a treadmill, obstacle training, and scent work activities. My goal and belief as a pet professional is that services should be catered to each specific client, and not a one size fits all model. Because of the size of our living space and the nature of my job/business, I do require that any dogs coming to stay with us are crate trained and that their crate is brought with them. This not only allows for a smooth and stress-free stay, but provides your dog with a familiar safe space in a new environment. Because I am a small business owner, I have a very flexible schedule that can change depending on the needs of my clients - whether that’s in a drop-in, walk, or boarding service. Our canine clients often spend the day with my at my storefront, then come hone with me in the evenings to hang out until bedtime. Depending on the dog and the preferences of the owner, they may also participate in group classes as a demo dog to help show the exercises being taught. I am currently living in an apartment that opens outside to a large yard. Dogs are kept on a long line, unless otherwise specified by their owner that they are able to be reliably off leash. Even with owner permission, I typically avoid any off leash time that could potentially lead to the dog escaping or getting injured. I also have a very structured system in my home, where I introduce dogs through a parallel pack walk before letting them interact either indoors or outdoors. I also spend a significant amount of time working on calm and impulse control, and avoid letting pets in my home get overly excited.

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing an adventure or a senior dog needing gentle care, I’m here to provide tailored attention and love for your furry friend. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). About: I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats, but petsit for a lot of dogs over the years. Four years ago, I got my own dog and it has been a wonderful experience raising and training him. What I love about dogs is being able to take them on stimulating adventures: hiking, canoeing, etc. I enjoy teaching new tricks, even silly useless ones. A dog's joy is infectious! Growing up with a diabetic cat, I am no stranger to the medical needs of animals. I have no qualms about administering injections or pills-whatever the pet needs. I also have experience in the cleanup and care of a senior dog, having inherited an elder Yorkie from a great-aunt. I am at home full-time now and can adjust my schedule to a dog's needs. I am always around to provide access to the backyard, or to go for a walk as requested. For appointments or errands, I am gone for a maximum of four hours. I live in a lovely home with a large, fully-fenced backyard. There's lots of wildlife to chase (hopefully not to catch!) such as birds, squirrels, rabbits, and the occasional fox. My home is, of course, very dog-friendly: there is nothing tempting at nose-height (and I will adjust as needed), no food left out for counter surfers, all shoes and clothes behind closet doors, etc. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds here, but there are also lots of dog beds scattered about.

About: Dog lover through and through. Life hasn’t been the same since we lost our beloved 18-year-old Bichon a few months ago. Caring for her from puppyhood all the way through her senior years, including providing the extra patience and attention older dogs need, gave me hands-on experience with every stage of a dog’s life. My love for animals started long before that. When I was younger, I volunteered at local pet shelters where I helped walk dogs and clean the cats’ room. I prioritize safety, routine, and making pets feel comfortable in any environment. I live in an apartment that is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always make sure the space is secure and free of anything harmful. Right behind my apartment, there’s a large open field as well as a park where many dogs go to play, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and stimulation. I always supervise outdoor time closely and follow your dog’s specific needs, whether that’s playtime, structured walks, or a calmer routine.
