“Eva and her family provided exceptional dog boarding service over the span of 3 nights. She goes above and beyond and incorporated our dog in her daily life. We came back to a happy and well-cared-for pup. Highly recommend her 5-star service!”

“Very accommodating to our requests and schedule, and our dog was calm after a day with them (she usually starts very anxious). They gave updates, photos and video throughout the day. Highly recommend them.”

“Our 11 month old whoodle had a blast with Allison and Scott. Ember is a very social pup and it was like staying at camp for her! We were given a tour of their amazing property before our first booking was confirmed. During her stay we received lots of photo and video updates. Ember came home a very tired and happy pup, took 3 days to recover from her “puppy hangover”. Happy to have found our new go-to boarder!”

“Shelley took great care of my cat while I was away for the weekend. I was very worried to leave him home alone and Shelley did amazing with welcoming him into her home and making sure he was comfortable. She sends lots of good updates with pictures so you have peace of mind”

“Sara and Rick were amazing dog sitters! They were very friendly, easy to communicate with, and kept me updated throughout the stay. My dog was clearly happy and well taken care of. I’d definitely trust them again!”

“We were very fortunate to have Natalie look after our rambunctious 1 yr old Lab Beau for a week while we were on vacation. She was very patient with him as were her dogs Sawyer and Daphne. She kept us updated and assured us he was settling down - eventually ?. He returned home happy and tired - a sign of a great holiday!”

“I had a great experience with Saksham and his wife! they were super attentive, and my dog seemed happy and relaxed when I picked her up :) they took her on plenty of walks(just the way she likes it) and even made her feel at home by letting her sleep on the bed or couch!!I really appreciated the regular updates with pics, which made me feel at ease while I was away”

“My dog(Willow) had a lot of fun and great time with Randi and her family for two weeks(Christmas and holiday season) while we were away. I am very thankful that Willow stayed with Randi. Thank you very much, Randi! We will see you soon or later for Willow again.”

“We left our puppy with them for 9 days while we were on holiday, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. They are genuinely warm, sincere, and truly love animals. They treated our puppy like their own and kept us updated every single day with pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. We came back to a happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for puppy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving sitters. We will absolutely book with them again!”

“Cindy and Marc took such great care of Batman, who is a nervous dog but they made him feel so welcomed. Cindy shared updates and pictures through the day which we really appreciated. Overall we couldn’t be happier.”

“Awesome stay, really helped us out! Very much appreciated the daily updates and pictures, it was really comforting to see our dog have fun while we were away.”

“Winter stayed for more than 2 weeks at Sabrina’s place and he was so happy. She provided regular updates through messages, photos and videos of Winter. Sabrina gave him playtime everyday which kept Winter active and content. She accommodated all our requests while keeping Winter which kept us at ease and comforting to know that he is been cared for and is in a safe place where he is happy. Whenever I need to board Winter I would be thinking of Sabrina first.”

“This was our dog’s second stay with Fiona and Dale and they had a great time. They were well looked after and are home sleeping from their active time. Thanks so much for looking after our fur babies! It’s comforting to know they are well taken care of while away from home.”

“Gail was awesome, taking care of our dog Wally in her home for 5 days and nights in March 2026. Wally was walked 3x per day, and we felt totally comfortable after an initial meet and greet that Wally would be in good hands while we went on vacation. Gail accommodated an early morning drop off so we could catch our flights. And we got lots of pictures while away which we loved. If you need someone to take care of your dog, and love them like you do, don’t hesitate to contact Gail !”

“We have Hugo stay with Deborah Lynn every time we are out of town. She takes such good care of Hugo, always keeping him active and entertained. When Hugo is in Deborah Lynn’s care, we get frequent updates in the form of pictures and videos and it’s nice to see Hugo having so much fun with his friends. Deborah Lynn is a natural with dogs and we’re lucky to have found her.”

“Pei went absolutely above and beyond in caring for my dog, Louisa. Louisa is a nervous mastiff and can be quite particular, so finding someone I trust with her is no small thing, and Pei exceeded every expectation. From the start, Pei created such a calm and welcoming environment. Louisa was given the time and space she needed to settle in at her own pace, and it was clear she felt safe to gradually explore, enjoy the trails, and grow more comfortable each day. Pei kept me consistently updated, which gave me huge peace of mind. The updates were thorough, reassuring, and showed not just experience, but genuine care and affection for Louisa. What really stood out was the extra effort and attention to detail. Louisa is an extremely fussy eater, and Pei took the time to make thoughtful adjustments, adding toppings, adapting her meals, and ensuring she stayed well fed and happy. That kind of effort meant so much. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel incredibly relieved and grateful to have found such a wonderful “home away from home” for my sensitive girl.”

“Jason is the absolute best! We started with a meet and greet and right away. It was apparent he was a competent, responsible, loving dog owner. He welcomed my high energy puppy, Bo, with open arms. Bo boarded with Jayson for six days and I got daily photos and messages of all the fun things they were doing. I knew Bo was in amazing hands so I was able to have a relaxing and stress-free trip. I won’t hesitate to book with Jayson again!”

“Deborah-Lynn took wonderful care of my 2 dogs. From the moment we met it was evident that her love for animals is second to none. We have a senior with heart condition and a puppy that has endless energy and Deborah-Lynn navigated their needs and provided excellent accommodations for their individual needs. She communicated frequently through the day, kept me updated and demonstrated care and kindness. She reinforced training, especially with the puppy and shared valuable insights with me to help me support when home. The boys had such a terrific time they’re going to be going back next week. I interviewed and met several dog care providers and Deborah-Lynn stood out amongst all.”

“Wenge and Changhe did a great job watching our pup for the day! He is high energy, so their setup of letting them run around on a spacious balcony was perfect for our little guy. Would definitely recommend!”

“Eva and her husband were lovely and kind. I received lots of updates and photos throughout Skipper’s stay, even though it wasn’t long. He came home happy and sleepy - maybe a little sad that he was leaving a new friend’s house ?. I would definitely recommend Eva and would trust my pup with her anytime ❤️”

“Ruomai always takes wonderful care of our Millie! Super attentive, and provides some videos and pictures throughout the day so we know she is doing well. Always gets her to eat when she is kept through meal times, and makes sure she has a comfortable social experience as well. Millie is always just as excited to come here as she is to come home! Would always recommend.”

About: Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am an experienced dog owner who runs my own training, grooming and pet care business in New Hamburg called Canine Community Corner. We offer a wide variety of services, such as boarding, walking, drop in visits, bath and brush, and nail trim services. We also carry a wide variety of pet care products in our storefront, most of which are made by other local small businesses. In my home, I have 2 dogs and a cat. In the past I have also had a bearded dragon, a chameleon, hamster, rats, and mice, so I am experienced with a wide range of animals. During their stay with us, your pet will receive flexible 5 star care, depending on their needs and preferences. My dogs and I are avid hikers, and often spend our free time out on walks through the forest. If your dog prefers to stay home, we are also able to provide a calm and quiet environment for the duration of their stay. I also have a wide variety of actives they can do at my facility in the case of bad weather, including a treadmill, obstacle training, and scent work activities. My goal and belief as a pet professional is that services should be catered to each specific client, and not a one size fits all model. Because of the size of our living space and the nature of my job/business, I do require that any dogs coming to stay with us are crate trained and that their crate is brought with them. This not only allows for a smooth and stress-free stay, but provides your dog with a familiar safe space in a new environment. If your dog has any sort of separation anxiety, please let me know beforehand so I can plan accordingly. Feel free to message me with questions at any time! Because I am a small business owner, I have a very flexible schedule that can change depending on the needs of my clients - whether that’s in a drop-in, walk, or boarding service. Our canine clients often spend the day with my at my storefront, then come hone with me in the evenings to hang out until bedtime. Depending on the dog and the preferences of the owner, they may also participate in group classes as a demo dog to help show the exercises being taught. I am currently living in an apartment that opens outside to a large yard. Dogs are kept on a long line, unless otherwise specified by their owner that they are able to be reliably off leash. Even with owner permission, I typically avoid any off leash time that could potentially lead to the dog escaping or getting injured. I also have a very structured system in my home, where I introduce dogs through a parallel pack walk before letting them interact either indoors or outdoors. I also spend a significant amount of time working on calm and impulse control, and avoid letting pets in my home get overly excited.
“I am so lucky that I found Jayson. Our dog is usually shy at first, but she clicked with Jayson. He is kind, caring and I feel so relieved when she is with him for doggy daycare. Jayson responds very quickly and communicates very clearly. His dog, Arnold has made our girl feel comfortable, which is amazing, as she can be apprehensive at times. Jayson will provide lots of photos during the day and keeps me updated on her walks (or hangouts in the backyard when it is too hot). His photos are always accompanied by a text, telling me how she is doing, how her walk was, when she had dinner, etc. I love that Jayson always gives off a calm and happy demeanor, because it not only makes our dog comfortable, but I do not worry at all about her while she is there. If you are looking for someone who provides a fun and calm space, a very chill doggy companion, and lots of care, I 100% recommend Jayson as your pet sitter/walker.”

About: I have been a pet sitter for a number of family members and friends both in their home and my own. I have experience training puppies, bathing and basic grooming. My fiancé and I are both self employed and work from home which offers plenty of flexibility in our schedule to accommodate pets and their families. Our spacious backyard has a clothes line leash attachment for dogs to safely enjoy playing outdoors. They are free to explore our home and receive plenty of love attention and treats.

“It was our first time ever leaving our Maltese with Varinder. She took care of our furry member with extreme care. Consistent updates throughout the day. She treated him as if he was her own pet. About: Both myself and my partner have owned and loved dogs since we were ten years old! Between our childhoods and our current dog, we have played large roles in the training, care and play of 10 different dogs, as small as 4 lbs and as large as 100 lbs. The dogs we had growing up were a mix of rescues, adoptions and breeders, so we are comfortable with all different temperaments, sizes and breeds. We are also quite used to dogs who shed, drool or eat lots, so we are ready to host your pup no matter what they are like! We are also active leash walkers living in a very walkable and dog-friendly neighbourhood, so your pet will have lots of exercise during their stay. Our puppy is quite friendly and small, and will be quite excited to meet yours! There are no children, cats or reactive/aggressive dogs in the home. Our house is also puppy-proofed, so there are no safety concerns regardless of your pet's age, breed or size. I am currently out of work and enrolling in full-time online school in the fall, while my partner works a full-time day job from home. This means that both of us are home full-time, with enough flexibility to ensure all our guests are getting the attention, care and exercise they deserve! Most of our day revolves around our puppy currently anyways, so adding more dogs into the home will be a simple schedule adjustment. We have multiple crates and beds available for your pet's relaxation, a variety of food/water bowls that are regularly cleaned and sanitized, and an open living/dining room space for the dogs to roam while constantly being supervised and played with. The dogs will have a large variety of toys to choose from, and treats will be given only with client approval to ensure all dog's dietary needs are being met. You can expect your pet to receive lots of attention and exercise, while remaining in an environment designed and furnished for your pet's safety.

About: I have grown up around pets since I was a newborn, from quiet pets who want to cuddle to loud high energy pets who want to play. Old dogs and new puppies. I have never met a pet that did not love me, from skittish barn cats to "female disliking" puppies. I may not know my neighbors but I know the dog in town. I have sat, walked and bathed my families dogs since I was young. Including my double skunk sprayed dog. I currently have a 3 year old husky who is very high energy and still sit my grandparents and aunts 6 year old dogs and my other aunts 11 year old dog. I am comfortable walking small, medium, large or giant dogs, puppies or multiple dogs. I am available to walk, feed or play with your furry friends during my lunch period, spare or after school in elmira. Or afternoons in any location nearby. Hope to see you and your furry friends soon! I am currently a high school student, however I would be available during my lunch hour and spare in elmira and anywhere near after school. I am also a reservist in the military and would not be available ALL weekends but most, and not available Thursdays after 6pm. “Dave has been my go to dog walker for my rescue pooch Zepellin. Dave is loved by Zepellin and is attentive to his needs. I've had Dave walk Zepellin for the better part of 2020 and I wouldn't trust anyone else!!”

“Jayson was wonderful to work with. I hired him to walk my dog while I was out of town on business, and from the start, he was responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. His prompt replies and clear communication gave me confidence that my dog was in good hands. While I was away, Jayson sent regular text updates and photos, which provided great peace of mind. Knowing how my dog was doing each day made it much easier to focus on my trip without worrying. I truly appreciated his reliability, consistency, and thoughtful updates throughout my time away. I would not hesitate to recommend Jayson to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog walker. His excellent service made all the difference, and I was able to travel knowing my dog was well cared for.”

“Sunny gave great updates and sent a lot of pictures when she looked after my dog. She was punctual and I felt I could rely on her which was very reassuring. About: Dog lover through and through. Life hasn’t been the same since we lost our beloved 18-year-old Bichon a few months ago. Caring for her from puppyhood all the way through her senior years, including providing the extra patience and attention older dogs need, gave me hands-on experience with every stage of a dog’s life. My love for animals started long before that. When I was younger, I volunteered at local pet shelters where I helped walk dogs and clean the cats’ room. Being around animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve always gravitated toward them. Over the years, I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets, giving them the same love, attention, and reliability I gave my own dog. I truly understand that pets are family members, and when they’re in my care, their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first. Honestly, if you can’t find me at a house party, chances are I’m wherever the pet is. Spending time with animals is simply where I’m happiest, and I’ll treat your pet with the same kindness, patience, and affection as my own. I work full-time remotely from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and be present throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. Whether you need care during the workweek while you’re at the office, regular walks, drop-in visits, or someone to look after your furry friend while you’re away for a weekend, I’m happy to work with your schedule and accommodate your pet’s routine as much as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. My home is quiet and calm, with no kids or other pets, which can be a great environment for animals who enjoy a peaceful space and lots of attention. Since I work remotely from home, I’m around throughout the day to keep your pet company and make sure they’re well cared for. They won’t be left alone for long and will always have someone nearby. While I don’t currently have a fenced backyard, I live in a quiet residential neighborhood that’s great for safe walks. I’m always careful when outdoors and make sure pets are secure and comfortable at all times.

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing an adventure or a senior dog needing gentle care, I’m here to provide tailored attention and love for your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your dog and learn more about their personality and preferences! I currently feed and walk my two border collies and cat everyday. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and am a lover of all animals! I have always helped family and friends take care of their pets and am very excited to work this as a professional gig. As a Rover customer myself, I know the importance of finding the perfect sitter and the stress that can come with leaving your furry friends behind while away at work or on vacation. I can ensure you that I will tailor my services to fit your individual needs and to limit your stress! I look forward to working with you! I am a highschool teacher so my schedule is open all summer unless otherwise indicated on my calendar. During the school year, weekdays would be limited to early morning or after school hours. But I am always happy to find a suitable time that works best for you and your furry friend! I am extremely careful when entering and exiting clients homes, ensuring that all doors are closed and locked. I will make sure your furry friend is well taken care of and loved! I am also happy to provide any other small services such as bringing in the mail or watering house plants while you are away.

“Awesome stay, really helped us out! Very much appreciated the daily updates and pictures, it was really comforting to see our dog have fun while we were away.”

“Catharine provided exceptional care for my 2-year-old Boston Terrier, Louie, during my 7-day absence. Her communication skills were impressive, and she asked insightful questions to better understand Louie's routine. I felt confident leaving Louie with Catharine and her family due to their thoroughness and care. The regular updates and photos she sent throughout my trip were a lovely touch. I highly recommend Catharine and would not hesitate to book her again in the future!”

“Priyanka was amazing! We did a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone felt comfortable which put my mind at ease. She provided updates throughout Hudson’s stay so I knew how he was adjusting. It was my first time using Rover and Hudson’s first time staying away from home. He was nervous in a new environment and Priyanka went above and beyond to ensure he felt comfortable and ate his meals. Priyanka also has an active walk schedule so his exercise needs were met and consistent with his normal routine. I felt very comfortable my dog was in good hands and will definitely book again in the future. Thanks again! :)”

“We had Rusty stay with Wendy and Ian for 12 days. I can't say enough great things about them. Best word ever "Awesome " They walked Rusty everyday, sent pictures, made cute comments. They never for one minute made us feel uncomfortable leaving him with them. He was happy to see us but I'm sure disappointed in leaving them. I highly recommend them to anyone. Rest assured you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Wendy and Ian for all that you did. Until next time.😄🐶”

“Kara was absolutely awesome. She took great care of my dogs Bear and Mac. Bear is a 13 yr old boxer , who has recently gone blind, and kara was great with her. She kept me updated, which put me at ease, and allowed Me to visit with my Mom in hospice free of worry or concern for my two best friends”
“Hi Jean. Thank you again for watching our puppy a second time while we are away onna 10 day vacation. We appreciate your puppy guidance while we grow with our new furry family member. We also appreciate all the photos sent while we were away and hope that our next visit he'll be a more mature doggy for you to watch. Thanks again.”

“Josue was an amazing person and he sent me updates anytime he could. The place was amazing and his family accepted my dog for the day like their own. My dog had a lot of fun. I will definitely take my dog there next time I’m in Waterloo area.”

“We've never used Rover before, but Madison and Jeffrey have been extremely patient with us and our boy, who is 8 years old and shy with strangers. They send us pics and updates regularly, which is helpful when I worry a lot. They're open to working with our dog's schedule, taking him for walks and letting him have his(overly large) crate to chill out in if he prefers to be there. If you're hesitant about using Rover, reach out to Madison and Jeffrey because they go above and beyond!”

“Toby really enjoyed his first stay with Shannon & her pups! He came home a very happy and tired boy :) He loved meeting some new friends and getting to roam around the house and backyard. Shannon sent lots of pictures and updates of his adventures which was really great!”

“Can’t Thank her enough for her gentle care and warmth with my buddy, Berny…!!! She took utmost care of him whilst I was away for urgent trip, timely notifications and updates, which were perfect to see him enjoying…. THANK YOU AGAIN…!!”
