I have experience sitting for my neighbors while they are out of town, playing with and feeding their cat. About: Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am an experienced dog owner who runs my own training, grooming and pet care business in New Hamburg called Canine Community Corner. We offer a wide variety of services, such as boarding, walking, drop in visits, bath and brush, and nail trim services. In the past I have also had a bearded dragon, a chameleon, hamster, rats, and mice, so I am experienced with a wide range of animals. During their stay with us, your pet will receive flexible 5 star care, depending on their needs and preferences. My dogs and I are avid hikers, and often spend our free time out on walks through the forest. If your dog prefers to stay home, we are also able to provide a calm and quiet environment for the duration of their stay. I also have a wide variety of actives they can do at my facility in the case of bad weather, including a treadmill, obstacle training, and scent work activities. My goal and belief as a pet professional is that services should be catered to each specific client, and not a one size fits all model. Because of the size of our living space and the nature of my job/business, I do require that any dogs coming to stay with us are crate trained and that their crate is brought with them. I am currently living in an apartment that opens outside to a large yard. Dogs are kept on a long line, unless otherwise specified by their owner that they are able to be reliably off leash. Even with owner permission, I typically avoid any off leash time that could potentially lead to the dog escaping or getting injured. I also have a very structured system in my home, where I introduce dogs through a parallel pack walk before letting them interact either indoors or outdoors. I also spend a significant amount of time working on calm and impulse control, and avoid letting pets in my home get overly excited.

Jayson responds very quickly and communicates very clearly. His dog, Arnold has made our girl feel comfortable, which is amazing, as she can be apprehensive at times. About: Both myself and my partner have owned and loved dogs since we were ten years old! Between our childhoods and our current dog, we have played large roles in the training, care and play of 10 different dogs, as small as 4 lbs and as large as 100 lbs. The dogs we had growing up were a mix of rescues, adoptions and breeders, so we are comfortable with all different temperaments, sizes and breeds. We are also quite used to dogs who shed, drool or eat lots, so we are ready to host your pup no matter what they are like! We are also active leash walkers living in a very walkable and dog-friendly neighbourhood, so your pet will have lots of exercise during their stay. Our puppy is quite friendly and small, and will be quite excited to meet yours! There are no children, cats or reactive/aggressive dogs in the home. Our house is also puppy-proofed, so there are no safety concerns regardless of your pet's age, breed or size. I am currently out of work and enrolling in full-time online school in the fall, while my partner works a full-time day job from home. This means that both of us are home full-time, with enough flexibility to ensure all our guests are getting the attention, care and exercise they deserve! Most of our day revolves around our puppy currently anyways, so adding more dogs into the home will be a simple schedule adjustment. We have multiple crates and beds available for your pet's relaxation, a variety of food/water bowls that are regularly cleaned and sanitized, and an open living/dining room space for the dogs to roam while constantly being supervised and played with. The dogs will have a large variety of toys to choose from, and treats will be given only with client approval to ensure all dog's dietary needs are being met. You can expect your pet to receive lots of attention and exercise, while remaining in an environment designed and furnished for your pet's safety.

About: I have grown up around pets since I was a newborn, from quiet pets who want to cuddle to loud high energy pets who want to play. Old dogs and new puppies. I have never met a pet that did not love me, from skittish barn cats to "female disliking" puppies. I may not know my neighbors but I know the dog in town. I have sat, walked and bathed my families dogs since I was young. Including my double skunk sprayed dog. I currently have a 3 year old husky who is very high energy and still sit my grandparents and aunts 6 year old dogs and my other aunts 11 year old dog. I am comfortable walking small, medium, large or giant dogs, puppies or multiple dogs. I am available to walk, feed or play with your furry friends during my lunch period, spare or after school in elmira. Or afternoons in any location nearby. I can’t wait to meet your dog and learn more about their personality and preferences! I currently feed and walk my two border collies and cat everyday. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

About: I’ve taken care of family dog and neighbors dog for 5 years. I have experience taking care of small to medium dogs and can train basic skills for puppies. My job has a flexible hours schedule and I can work from home. Therefore I can accommodate any hours needed by the customer and their dog. I do not have pets in my home currently, so the client’s dog will be the only pet in the home. I’ll make sure their dogs feel comfortable here.
About: I've been around dogs since day 1. Had dogs of every shape and size. I have worked in grooming, pet retail and have volunteered at vet clinics. I have always done pet care.
