About: FIRST TIME BOOKING WITH ROVER? RECEIVE $20 OFF WITH MY CODE: KIRAO92445 I love being around animals. I have had many cats all my life and now I have a Husky named Aurora who is an absolute joy to care for . I have a 3 story townhouse with lots of space for playing and a fenced in yard with space to run and have unlimited potty breaks! Aurora loves other dogs and is not aggressive at all(she's not spayed). I am available around the clock to keep an eye on your furbabies and/or have a vehicle to visit your home for walks and anything else your pet needs. My cats keep to themselves but do not appreciate being chased, I can arrange to keep them in a separate room if need be. I can't wait to hear about all your little cuties and arrange for a time to meet you and them! I am a hairstylist working from home, I work part time as a beauty advisor and hangout with pets with the rest of my free time :) Because I have a fenced yard I can offer many potty breaks if needed and Aurora is available all day to play and tire your pup out! If your pup needs a lot of walks, I can also provide that no problem whatsoever.
“Shorty had a great walk with Jayson even though it was raining. Jayson was prompt and messaged and took pictures everything I needed to put my minds at rest. I will be using Jayson again!”

“Lauryn is a total gem. Our dog loved her instantly, which made me feel at ease. Lauryn was professional and kind during our meet and greet, and confident with our girl who is a high-energy, leash-reactive GSD mix. We came home to a happy, sleepy pup. I definitely recommend Lauryn.”

About: Over 30 years of being a cat Mom, while also looking after cats for family and friends in their homes. I have experience giving medications, pills and injections. Litter boxes don’t scare me one bit! I know how to bathe a cat in 20 minutes with low stress for the cat and next to no scratches for me. I also know how to groom cats, and can do nail trims. I have a number of different techniques to play with the kitties. I love animals, especially cats, and totally understand cats, their moods and a cat’s cantankerous ways. I once had a golden retriever who was my kid for 12 years. Lovely dog. She crossed rainbow bridge in 2014, gone but not forgotten. Currently unemployed, seeking part time work, so that I will still have time to do this occasional job as well. I will be starting post secondary studies in the next few months, classroom time is 4 hours per day, leaving time for me to come and visit/walk your pet. I can come and visit your pet up to twice a day if needed. I do not sleep over in your home. I do not do visits/walks outside the KW area. For dog walking, here is my usual routine. I enter the door say hello to the pet, grab their leash, poop bags, and then prepare the pet for their walk. Put on clothes or boots if needed, collar and leash, then off we go!

“Alex has been absolutely great with our 7 year old pit heeler, Moon. Normally, Moon takes awhile to warm up to strangers, but with Alex, there was a bond from Day 1. Alex is fantastic: reliable and on time - rain, snow or shine, courteous and goes above and beyond in their daily 1 hour walks. So happy to find you, Alex! Many thanks to you, from Moon’s family! ❤️”

“Brittany was absolutely incredible with our two fur babies . She went above and beyond for us while caring for them while I was away . I would highly recommend and can’t wait to use her services again!”

About: If the dogs or cats want to take my chair or bed, I the type of person who would sit or sleep somewhere else. As a former researcher, I would always try to understand animals behavior in a scientific way, and of course in a loving way. I love a clean and tidy space. I work from home and with no family around, so your pet would become my best friend. I work from home and do lots of walking everyday, so all the pet's need can be taken care of nicely. I take at least two walks everyday, stay the rest of time at home working, that's why I'm capable of pet care. And most importantly, I love pets. I can care the pets in the way he was cared at home. I have a cat and lots of energy to take the dog on a walk, and the flexibility to meet the dog's need.
About: I have taken care of many pets since I’m a child, so I’m very experienced and love to stay with them. I would love to provide the same care to your pet. I’m home full time, so I can walk dogs accordingly to your schedule, and feed pets based on their daily routine. I can keep them like home. I’m serious about keeping them safe, so I’ll watch them full time every day, as I work from home so I’m available to care for them all time.
About: ***Welcoming new friends for walks/drop ins!*** With over 30 years of caring for cats and dogs, we guarantee that we will care for and love your pet as if they were our own. I started walking a neighbour’s dog and caring for cats when I was in my midteens - after years of longing for a pet in a pet-free home, it was a way to get a “fix”! Over the years I have cared for other people’s companions and eventually my own. I didn’t get my first dog until I was 29! Since then I have had 5 dogs. The most recent is Lily, a potcake from Bahamas. She joins Poppy, our l mutt who loves to play and take up the whole couch. We are a family that adores our dogs and everyone else’s too! My kids have had dogs in their lives since they were born and they are excellent with dogs of all kinds. My teenage daughter now joins me in caring for animals as a part-time job. This is at no additional cost to clients! Got two dogs? You get two times the love for the same price! If we are dropping in to see your companion, we promise to give them whatever they need - cuddles, play time or to just sit in quiet company. If your dog needs a walk, it will involve lots of focussed attention, chatting, pats, and treats (if allowed). We know what your pet means to you because we know what ours mean to us. And we know the kind of care and attention we want our dogs to have when we have to leave them behind. We offer care and affection, with a personal touch, whether drop-ins or walks. A note about fees: Nightly fees are for up to 24 hours. Additional time that is not a full day may incur additional fees. Not all holidays or high demand times in Ontario or Canada are included by Rover (ie Family Day, March Break) so rates may be adjusted for holidays. I work part-time outside the home. My husband works from home 4 days a week. We fit dog-walking and playtime in around our work and family obligations and usually get at least one big nature walk in on the weekends. Our dogs are part of our daily lives, napping nearby while we work or hanging out with us while we read, watch tv, or play games. We have a large fenced yard and our dogs have the run of the house. We also have a crate and can offer it if your dog needs a space to rest or stay if we go out or overnight. Daily walks and play time, snuggles if they want to, care and affection are just routine around here. We are definitely dog people! I have taken a basic canine first aid course and keep basic first aid supplies in the case of an emergency before veterinary care can be accessed. This would only be used immediately in case of an injury and would not replace veterinary attention.
“Tyler is great with my girls. I recently hurt my back and he offered to come shovel the girls potty spot. He is great at following instructions, I never have to worry about my girls. His messages and Rover cards are always upbeat.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 7! I have two cats and two dogs and love them so much! I had my own dog walking and sitting business in highschool and I have experience with both young and senior animals. I also have experience with animals with diabetes, pancreatitis and anxiety! I am a university student with lots of time on my hand and a very flexible schedule. I can work around almost any time needed. For dog walking and pet sitting, I ensure a safe environment, maintain routines, and provide regular updates to build trust while keeping your dog comfortable at home.
About: I’ve taken care of family dog and neighbors dog for 5 years. I have experience taking care of small to medium dogs and can train basic skills for puppies. My job has a flexible hours schedule and I can work from home. Therefore I can accommodate any hours needed by the customer and their dog. I do not have pets in my home currently, so the client’s dog will be the only pet in the home. I’ll make sure their dogs feel comfortable here.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for and helping train a Belgian Malinois, a highly intelligent and high-energy breed that requires consistency, patience, and structure. This taught me how to read dog behavior, reinforce good habits, and stay calm in different situations. Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to have my own pets, so I spent years caring for dogs and animals for neighbours and cousins. That experience built my love for animals and made me very attentive, gentle, and responsible. I treat every pet like they’re my own and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm currently in school but take my courses online and don't have a job so I will have plenty of time to take care of dogs! I prioritize safety, routine, and making pets feel comfortable in any environment. I live in an apartment that is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always make sure the space is secure and free of anything harmful. Right behind my apartment, there’s a large open field as well as a park where many dogs go to play, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and stimulation. I always supervise outdoor time closely and follow your dog’s specific needs, whether that’s playtime, structured walks, or a calmer routine. In a client’s home, I respect your space and stick closely to your pet’s usual schedule to keep them feeling safe and stress-free.
“Deniz has been walking Jack for four months and has been wonderful. She is reliable, friendly, and Jack has really warmed up to her. I feel very comfortable knowing he is in good hands and would definitely recommend Deniz.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Adam walking my husky mix while I was away recently. My dog is very large, and can be a bit reactive, but Adam was amazing with him. It is clear that he takes so much joy out of the time he spends with the animals and providing them with the best care. I got a message each day, letting me know how the walk went and how my boy was doing, which I really appreciated. It was my first time hiring a walker and it couldn't have gone better. I will absolutely be using Adam next time I have to be away.”

About: My family has owned dogs for 8 years and I’ve walked 2 or 3 dogs several times a week since then! I’ve also assisted family friends with walking and drop-ins for feeding and sitting. I am a fourth-year undergrad student with a few hours of classes per week and no other responsibilities, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I can’t care for pets in my home, but I am very happy to petsit in your home and walk outside the home! I will watch your pet with care and take their personality/conditions into account.
“Absolutely amazing !! 5 star treatment and care . We had kara dog walking our 1 year old and the amount of care and attention she received was next level . We recommend Kara for any services offered !!”

Currently working freelance so my schedule is flexible! I’ve been actively trying to fit a walk into my daily routine so I would love to have a dog companion with me!
