Pet care experience
Canine Walking Buddy
I've had pets my entire life, and I love to share my time and affection with animal friends. As a young adult, I worked at and then ran a nature center. We rehabilitated animals for re-release, and kept for educational purposes those who could not be released into the wild. We just said "good-bye" to our beloved, geriatric cat. While I'm not ready for a new pet in my home, I miss animals in my life. I'm delighted for the opportunity Rover provides to get some pet fun and love while I can't have one myself. I can walk dogs by myself, or, in cases where the dog likes children, I can bring my two budding dog-lovers to heap on their attention and play. I can only work with pets who are up-to-date on their vaccinations.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
For dog walking, I'll keep to a dog's familiar route so they are comfortable. I cannot bring dogs into my home. I will pick up and return the dog in the manner that is most comfortable for them, whether coming into the home or meeting them at the door.

See is fabulous. Wishing she could have done my knee surgery recovery. Don’t think I will find anybody as good as Emily. The date is not known until July 8. Maybe done in the fall. Fingers crossed

Schedule
I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I can often work around the pet's schedule. I'm trying to walk more, so I like having walks on my schedule. Because of my flexible work schedule, I can especially help families whose pets need walks or attention during the work day.
