Happy Pets Are My Speciality
I have been a pet parent all of my life. I grew up on a farm with every sort of animal. My parents bred Dachshunds and American Eskimos. Currently, I am mom to a rescued Frenchie girl with a heart murmur. She has a Grade 3 of 6 heart murmur which makes me especially familiar with special needs animals. Being a Frenchie mom also means that I am aware of the special needs of Brachycephalic dog breeds (especially during the hot summer months). I worked in a privately owned holistic pet store for more than four years helping customers find the right food, treats and remedies for their fur babies. There is no more satisfying feeling than the results of the help I provided. Seeing the transformation of the fur baby and the happiness that it brought to their pet parent ❤️ I also fostered for Niagara Dog Rescue for a brief period before finding my forever girls. I dealt with dogs with behavioural issues and showed them that not all humans hurt or leave. No request or care detail is ever overlooked. Post walk paw cleaning, face fold cleaning, special post walk treats... Clean water from a freshly washed bowl. Whatever your pup needs will be done. I practice Cesar Millan's techniques and am a calm and confident walker. However; I also know how super important it is for pups to have the opportunity for enrichment through sniffing. All dogs are the cute, cuddle kind. I can't wait to meet yours!

Bren is a great sitter with good communication and transparency about activities. She took berry on a long 3km walk twice, taking care of his activity needs. Provided lots of toys and her own pup is also very friendly. Highly recommend.
Norman had the best time getting spoiled by Bren. She was so accommodating, and kind with our senior pup it is obvious she really cares for her pups. Im not sure he wanted to come home! 😁. 100% recommended.

Bren was super the whole week. She went above and beyond looking after my babies. The pictures were great. She was there for every appointment and looked after them as if they were her own (maybe even better).
I’ve known Brenda for over 6+ years and I would not trust anyone else with my pets. The way that she care for her own animals, with attention to every small detail, considers all the possible and best options for food, hygiene and overall health, is exactly how she treats and cares for any pet or animal she crosses or comes into her cares. She’s highly responsible, reliable and dependable. She’s an overall wonderful person and your pets will know this to be true from the second they meet her.
We had Bren do a drop in visit. She was great with looking after our old gal. Sent us photos and her communication was great too. Will rebook for future dates.

Schedule
I'm home full time other than when walking or checking on fur friends. Your fur family will be able to get as much time and love as they need while you are out/away.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, your fur babies become adopted family and will be given the freedom to roam and cuddle wherever they like. If your fur baby needs the safe space of a crate, that is completely doable.
Pets
A typical day
There are lots of trails and green spaces in my area that are rich with diverse landscape (lake, streams, woods). On hot days, pet friendly stores like Canadian Tire, Homesense, Rens are a great substitute for the outdoor exercise. I have toys and snuffle mats and in the summer, a small inflatable pool that I fill with water and/or ball pit balls and hide treats or toss a larger ball into.
