I have extensive experience caring for and training different kinds of animals. I have cared for and raised 6+ types of animals, giving me hands-on experience with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. My love for animals brought me here, but my ability to understand them and my responsible, attentive approach are what keep me here. I treat every pet as if they were my own, because each one reminds me of the little ones I have loved and cared for. I am especially good at understanding animals through body language, behavior, and non-verbal communication. I use these signals to help shy animals feel safe, gently correct unwanted behaviors, and help pets better understand the world around them. Through this approach, I have taught my dog to calmly get on the couch, trained my chicken to walk alongside me, taught my cat what is appropriate to play with, and helped many animals learn fun tricks. I have also learned basic pet CPR, as well as pet health and nutrition principles, which help me pay close attention to each pet’s routine, diet, comfort, and individual needs. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care can come with worry, questions, and a lot of missing them. That is why I place a strong emphasis on keeping you informed. I pay close attention to changes in your pet’s behavior, routine, appetite, mood, and comfort, and make sure to clearly communicate what I notice. I also respect your home and personal space, so you can feel confident that both your pet and your home are being treated with care and respect.
