Lauren took such good care of my two cats, one of which requires insulin injections twice daily. When our trip was extended due to the Air Canada strike, Lauren was so accommodating. She’s friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable about their unique medical needs. I’ll be using Lauren’s services exclusively whenever I need a cat sitter!

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my entire life and currently share my home with two wonderful rescue dogs, Otto and Snoopy, who have taught me even more about patience, trust, and unconditional love. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, reinforcing routines, providing enrichment, and making sure every visit is tailored to your dog’s individual needs. Safety, communication, and reliability are my top priorities, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My promise is simple: every dog I care for will be treated like family, every single visit. Hi, I’m Tracy! Dogs have always been one of the greatest joys in my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. As the proud owner of two wonderful rescue dogs, Otto and Snoopy, I understand that every dog is unique, with their own personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to make every walk a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience while giving you complete peace of mind. Whether your dog loves energetic adventures, leisurely neighbourhood strolls, or simply spending time with someone who truly enjoys their company, I’ll tailor each visit to meet their individual needs. I treat every dog with the same patience, kindness, and respect that I give my own. When your dog is in my care, you can expect dependable service, clear communication, and plenty of love and attention. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, reinforce your dog’s normal routine, ensure they have fresh water after their walk, and send you photo updates and a detailed Rover Card so you always know how their visit went. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m committed to providing exceptional care from day one and earning your trust through reliability, professionalism, and genuine compassion. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I proudly serve Guelph and the surrounding area, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member. Whether you’re looking for regular weekday walks or occasional help when life gets busy, you can count on me to care for your dog as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you—and treating every dog like family, one walk at a time. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, walking preferences, and any special instructions. I use secure leashes, maintain close supervision, and always ensure doors, gates, and your home are left exactly as I found them. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect, and every home with the same care I would my own. You’ll receive updates and photos after each visit so you can have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a Meet & Greet, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting your best friend!

About: Hi Everyone! I can’t wait to hangout with your dog and/or cats; and give them the love, respect and attention they deserve. I know we’d all love to do that ourselves but it’s just not always possible unfortunately. I have 6 of my own cats at home with my husband. Our dogs passed on a few years ago and sitting through rover has allowed me to connect with amazing humans and their super cool pups! I’m comfortable and able to walk multiple dogs at once if needed, Whether we’re walking or hanging out at your place, I will ensure your dog is treated with the love that I treat my own pets with, which is a lot. I will make sure they are fed the proper foods, and medications if necessary and make sure they stay happy and healthy while they await your return. I hope we can chat soon, and arrange a time to meet you and your lovely fur-iend(s)! I’d also like to thank all my clients for their wonderful reviews! It is very much appreciated! ❤️ I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8am-430pm. I am able to do weekend, as well as extended stays. My husband and I can book up our schedules quickly at times with visiting friends and family, as well as other travel, so the more notice the better to fit you and your fur fam into my schedule! I have a fenced yard but boarding is decided on a case by case basis as I need to discuss it with my family and ensure my cats would be okay and not stressed out excessively during a boarding. Everyone’s happiness and comfortability is important.

About: We are your dogs perfect match. Run, walk, or cuddle we can do whatever they like. We have both grown up with family dogs and frequently care for many different breeds. We both have experience with nervous dogs and are aware of the precautions that need to be taken with them. Brandon works from home 2-3 days a week and would be able to watch your dog for the entirety of those days. I work very close to home and would be able to come home at lunch the days Brandon is not at home for a short walk/play session. We are both active and would be able to walk your pet as much as you needed! Our yard is only partially fenced; however, we would take your dog out on a long leash and remain outside with them. We will take them as on as many or little walks as they require, and they can roam the house when alone or we can crate them! We currently do not have any other pets in the home.

About: I’ve always had a strong connection with dogs and a genuine love for caring for them. I’m comfortable with a range of temperaments and energy levels, from playful and energetic to calm and reserved. I pay close attention to behaviour, routines, and cues, making sure each dog feels safe, understood, and well cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I approach every dog with patience, responsibility, and care. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my priority. I work part-time with very flexible hours, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and extended visits, and I’m able to adapt my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s maintaining a consistent routine, accommodating last-minute requests, or spending extra time with your pet, I’m able to prioritize their care and ensure they receive reliable, attentive support. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs so I can provide consistent, reliable care. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely, maintaining feeding schedules, walk routines, and any house rules to ensure pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I’m very attentive to behaviour and surroundings, making sure pets are safe at all times, whether that means secure leashing on walks, monitoring interactions, or keeping a calm and clean environment. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. My goal is to create a stress-free, trustworthy experience where pets feel cared for and owners feel reassured.

About: Note: My preferred name is Theseus, and I use they/them pronouns. I can't figure out how to change my name from my legal one on my profile. I've had both cats and dogs for my entire life, and currently have two cats. I regularly babysit my uncle's cat as well. We used to have Bernese Mountain dogs, I'm very comfortable with breeds as big or larger. I enjoy spending time outside and hiking, but if your pet would prefer to laze around all day I'm good with that too. I currently live near a lovely trail that dogs seem to enjoy and would be excited to see the trails near your home as well. I'm perfectly happy to come to your house to watch your pets, but I don't drive so you'd need to be in Guelph. I communicate very regularly. I enjoy taking and sending photos and will likely do so twice a day or more. Everything your pet does is the cutest thing ever and you need to see it. If you leave a pet brush out/give me a brush I will spend as long as your animal wants brushing them. I once brushed my uncle's cat for about 30 minutes. It was incredibly fun for the both of us. Prices are negotiable. My schedule is very open right now. I have plenty of free time to spend with your pet and I will enjoy every minute. Walking will likely be done during the cooler parts of the day, so all of us are comfortable. Dogs of all sizes are welcome in my home as long as they're safe around cats. I'm comfortable with just about any training/care routine you'd like me to use. I unfortunately cannot care for cats in my home because I have two of my own and they would be furious.

About: I've lived with dogs, cats, guinea pigs and a turtle my whole childhood. I spent several months working as a full-time zookeeper for predatory mammals! Recently I watched over 7 dogs over multiple days for a family member on vacation. I'm currently available to care for pets full-time and would love this opportunity before I study to be a vet-tech! I have added free time since my volunteering position ended for the summer. I am prepared to do pet sitting, pop-in visits, dog walking, and various others pet related services! I have a great history of safely watching dogs and handling situations with previous pets. I am very patient with pets such as waiting for cats to trust you first and not trying to force it.

About: Being a zoology undergraduate student, loving and caring for your pets will come naturally to me. I also have a lot of dog volunteering experience! I am an undergraduate student currently so weekends would be completely free for me including most weekdays except Monday's and Wednesday’s. I will be free evenings on Monday and Wednesday, and all day the rest of the days. I am very attentive and can easily notice small changes in body language and behaviour. I can manage feeding very well and clean up after them.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve spent the past 10 years caring for my own mini dachshund, Tony, and helping family and friends with their pets. From walks and playtime to feeding and companionship, I genuinely enjoy making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Every pet in my care is treated like family. 🐾 Pet care fits easily into my daily routine especially since I am off from university for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate lots of time to walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need. I enjoy spending time with animals and am available throughout the week to provide reliable, loving care. I care for every pet with the same love, trust, and attention that I give my own. Safety and reliability are my top priorities, whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and I have a senior mini dachshund who is very lazy and spends most of his time lounging. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions, while providing plenty of supervision, affection, and updates to owners.

I appreciated the detailed report and pictures, again despite this sit only being for 60 minutes. I knew Rosie was in great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kristen again.

John was absolutely phenomenal as a dog sitter! From the moment we connected, he was communicative, professional, and clearly passionate about caring for animals. He took the time to understand Leo’s routine, preferences, and quirks, which gave me immediate peace of mind. He made consistent visits and put in extra effort to make sure Leo felt comfortable, cared for, and never lonely. Throughout the stay, John provided regular updates, including photos and messages, which really reassured me that Leo was in great hands. When I returned, Leo was relaxed, healthy, and clearly had formed a strong bond with him. It was obvious that John truly cares and treats the dogs he watches like his own. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
