About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds my whole life, and have a very deep resonance with cats especially. I’ve had one in every house I’ve ever lived. As this was natural to me, I’ve had the opportunity to care for many cats and homes over the years, sometimes for extended stays. So far, there isn’t a cat I haven’t been able to befriend or at least find harmonious ground. I’m very confident in my ability to take care of these wonderful pets. Though I’m specialized in taking care of cats, my care has been extended towards all animals, and so I have a naturally affinity to caring for any pet. This includes both birds and dogs. I’ve always been able to get along with dogs just as much as cats. In the past few years I’ve had even more opportunity to care for them in my home when their owner leaves. This includes feeding, walking, playing, giving affection, and attending to any other instructions. I’ve also assisted in caring for a dog and a home in the past year. This experience has been for both seasoned dogs and puppies, and I love the unique personalities of each. I’m confident in working with small to medium type dogs, though I love the large ones too! I would also love to continue gaining experience with these wonderful creatures. I’m currently student online working towards a diploma, and I’ve left my schedule very flexible to be available to care for the pets of others! Any time of the week will do, when not taking care of other bookings, and I can make myself available. Currently living with a beautiful black cat named cricket, who loves to stop for attention in the hallways and get chin scratches in the Kitchen. As for the home of others, I do my best to bring my utmost respect to the home and attention to instructions, giving proper play time, affection, special care to walking for the unique needs of each dog, and feeding schedules amongst other roles. “Tracy was wonderful from the moment she came to our home for a meet-and-greet with our two pups. She sat on the floor and played with them while we chatted, and they immediately became comfortable with her. While we were away for a few days, she maintained good communication and frequently sent us some pictures and videos; our fur babies got lots of attention and snuggles! One of our dogs is extremely anxious during thunderstorms, and Tracy ensured that she got her anxiety medication, and went above and beyond to help calm her. This was our first time using Rover, and our dogs who are 8 and 11 had never been watched by anyone other than family members, so we were a bit nervous to have a complete stranger stay in our home and care for our pets. We couldn’t have asked for a better person; Tracy is warm, caring, trustworthy, dependable, and we will definitely be using her services again. About: As someone who has grown up with dogs, I very much miss having my own. I have been looking after friends’ dogs for several years now, but my friends just don’t travel enough! I am beyond happy to look after dogs in any way possible. I work until 2:30 on weekdays, and am happy to do walks or afternoon checks on dogs. I also happy to do overnights on weekdays if the dog can be alone during the day. Weekends are available for full day in-home care. I am happy to follow any instructions needed in the home to keep your pooch happy and healthy. Long walks are no problem, and I can ensure any specific instructions will be followed.
About: I am currently in an animal biology program at the university of Guelph. I am studying in an undergraduate program to apply to veterinary school. I have worked at a veterinary clinic for the last 3 summers as a veterinary assistant. I earned a certificate of completion for a course regarding animal CPR and choking. I won 2nd and 1st place at the College Royal Dog Show. I am well versed in furry companions and would love to meet yours!! I would love to fit walks or pet care in between my university classes during weekdays, or at any point over the weekends. I will try my best to be flexible! Wonderful experience with Taylor! She took great care of our senior kitty (and my daughter’s hermit crab) while we were visiting family for two weeks. We’re pretty sure Charlie’s fluffy coat was softer and healthier upon return than when we left! It was such a relief to have Taylor with him. We had just moved house, which had been quite stressful for him. Taylor helped to make all the transitions smoother for him with lots of snuggles.

Melissa was an excellent sitter. She was happy to come for a couple of meet and greets before her time with our anxious dog Pip. During her stay, Melissa was very good at making Pip feel comfortable. She was even able to get him to eat regularly, which he sometimes does not do when we are away. Melissa sent us daily updates and photos so that we knew how Pip was getting on and could relax knowing he was in safe hands. All in all, Melissa went above and beyond the care we expected for Pip and we would definitely recommend her to others.
Dhruv is a kind, caring individual who took great care of our dog and home. He communicated with us throughout our trip and sent us pictures of our pooch. Our dog was well and happy when we returned from our trip and Dhruv had taken great care of our home.
