Emilie can care for
Availability
I work from home 3-4 days a week. I also have a dog friendly office and a team that adores canine visitors, so your pup could accompany me to work as well! I would love to bring your pup on long walks, hikes and adventures to ensure they get lots of exercise.

I am very gentle and caring with any animal. I adore dogs and would spend all day every day with them if I could! Any dogs in my care would get out for 3-4 walks a day (depending on your pup’s exercise needs). I'm happy to take your pup to a nearby park for exercise and socializing. I've also cared for dogs who aren’t as keen on socializing, so I can take them for walks and avoid other dogs to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I am both gentle but firm and read situations very well to know how to keep your pup safe and comfortable at all times. Your dog will gets lots of love, affection and attention. I love to encourage play as well as taking it easy and napping!
Information Emilie M. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know any special needs your dogs has, personality traits, temperament and quirks. It’s also important that I know any potential triggers your dog has so that I can ensure they are safe and comfortable at all times.
A typical day
I wake up around 7:30 and would take your pup out for a walk first thing (usually 20 minutes). Then I come home, have breakfast and feed your dog (if they’re used to a later breakfast time) and start working in my home office. Your pup can get cozy and take a snooze while I work until noon when we’ll go for a 30-45 minute walk (depending on your dog’s needs/ preferences). Then I go home and work again until 4:30. I would take your pup out for a nice long evening walk, then come home for play and snuggles. I'll feed them dinner at their preferred time (I know how important dog’s routines are!) I'll take them out again right before bed for a pee/poop, then it’s off to bed. I've looked after both crate trained and non crate trained dogs and are happy to get them cozy in their crate, in their bed, or at the end of our bed if that’s what they’re used to!

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover and have had pets since a very young age. I have family pups, I’ve volunteered with the SPCA, I’ve fostered dogs and have experience with rescues and I’ve looked after many dogs. I have experience with all sizes of dogs. From 85lb Rotties, to Irish Wolfhounds that come up to your waist, to the tiniest Maltipoo! I would love to make your pup feel comfortable, safe and loved!
Reviews

I cannot recommend Emilie enough! She was the perfect fit for taking care of our dog for a full week because they are extremely hesitant and anxious around new people. From the very first meet-and-greet, Emilie was so patient, giving our pup the space they needed to feel safe while slowly building trust. Throughout the week, I received regular photo updates and detailed check-ins. Emilie clearly understands dog body language and knows how to handle a fearful pup with grace and kindness. I returned home to a happy, relaxed dog instead of a stressed one. We will definitely be booking with Emilie again—they are a true 'dog whisperer'!

Emilie was a great housesitter and took amazing care of our fur babies. She sent along pictures and updates throughout the stay and left the house tidy! Would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her care!
If there is one thing I could say about Emilie is she is a true animal lover. She has been looking after our 2 little dogs for several years and she treats them like her own . I know she has done the same for other friends as well and she gets to know each pup’s personality and gives them the care they need. I would easily recommend Emilie to anyone looking for a safe, loving, competent care giver for your 4 legged family members
Emilie has taken care of my dogs many times and she has always demonstrated a high level of care as well as affection for them. I know she would make a wonderful pet sitter.
