About: Hi! So, growing up with a cat, I always wanted a dog (isn’t that always the way?). Within 6 weeks of purchasing our first home, rather than paint or get furniture, we got Dexter, a now 16-year old sheltie/terrier/pug cross (neutered). 3 years later we adopted Juno, a purebred Shiba Inu rescue from Ohio. Juno crossed the rainbow bridge at age 13 in November 2025 and I quickly realized I have far too much love for pets in me to only have one dog in my life! Oh and my son, who has grown up with TWO dogs, says he wants a cat. I am pet first aid certified through Canadian Red Cross. I am comfortable with multiple dogs at once in any shape, age or size. I also have experience house sitting cats and bunnies. I am self-employed and work remotely so I currently have a wide range of availability (weekdays, mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends) to play with/supervise your pet! I have a large fenced in yard with one calm senior dog (male, neutered) and two small sized crates available if needed. I am an avid walker and have experience walking multiple dogs at once. I also have experience house sitting cats, bunnies and fish and am happy to try and not kill your plants.

We were nervous about having him kenneled all weekend in the kennels that had availability so we were looking for a alternative where he would be cared for like home. About: I’m an experienced, caring dog lover who has raised dogs from puppies through their senior years. I live in a calm, quiet home with my 10 year-old daughter who is gentle, kind, and absolutely loves animals. I work from home full-time, so your dog will get plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and exercise. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages—from energetic puppies to senior dogs—and I can administer medication as needed. Your pet will enjoy a calm, loving, and safe environment with lots of movement, enrichment, and (of course) belly rubs. We also have a friendly 2-year-old male Standard Poodle who loves having dog friends. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I do not accept reactive or intact dogs. Your dog will be treated like family here ❤️ I work for a tech company fully remote, we do walks during the day and in the evening with lots of outdoor playtime in the backyard. I have a fenced yard which is safe and secure and your dog will have full access to the house but I can crate if nesseaary. Your furry family member will need to get along with my poodle so a pre visit is required.

We really appreciated Uchenna’s willingness to keep our dog when he became sick during his stay, especially while we were away for our son’s wedding. She made sure he was cared for and boarded him despite him not feeling well. We’re grateful she was able to look after him during a stressful situation.
Luxie stayed with Lydia and Darryl for 6 days, and had a great experience. They were a wonderful couple, and their dog Buddy got along fantastic with Luxie. The communication was excellent, and I received lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend them again!
Shelley provided excellent care for our very anxious dog Bear. He is not comfortable in new situations and is nervous around other dogs. Shelley was very patient with him and sent regular updates. She set up his own private area in the rec room, away from the other dogs as that is what he seemed to prefer. I would recommend Shelley if you have an older, nervous dog.

Alicia took excellent care of my 18 year old dog! He requires some special care due to his poor eyesight and other age related issues, and Alicia was more than happy to accommodate all of his needs. She also sent updates and pictures during his stay there. I would highly recommend!
Pip had a great couple of days with John. He took her for lots of walks along the river and when we dropped it off, he took a straight away for a walk, which was nice because normally I don’t like leaving her and saying goodbye so she was just super excited to get going. We’d use John again for sure!
Jyll welcomed our 8 month old pup with loving arms. She was eager to get to know her routines and make sure she was comfortable. She updated us throughout the time, which was thoughtful reassurance as it was our pup’s first time away from us. We felt completely comfortable and at ease, knowing Jyll was taking exceptional care of her - and we will definitely be booking with Jyll again.
We are overjoyed to have found Jess and will be trusting her with our dog from here on out! Jess is super friendly and communicative from the beginning. She kept us updated with messages and photos the entire stay. We enjoyed how confident she was in taking care of our high energy Doberman, which made it so much easier to leave her. Our dog genuinely seemed to be smiling with Jess. She provided lots of excersise and socialization with other dogs. Super happy with our experience.
