From the moment the front door opened, Diesel walked right in with ease and felt at home. There was a great back yard to explore and parks and trails close by to venture out to. I appreciated the updates and photos Kathryn sent during his stay. It was obvious Diesel was well looked after, loved and spoiled with multiple walks and cuddles while I was away. Diesel had a great visit and loved every second of it! No doubt, he will miss the family, but I will definitely be booking back again the next time I need care for Diesel. “We were planning a trip and knew it would be more difficult to do some of the things on our list with our dog present. So last minute, I googled to try to find a kennel in the area. I've owned dogs my entire life and have never left them somewhere else, so wanted to see what was being offered. I came across Rover and leaving her with a family instead of a kennel sounded so much better; I didn't even know this existed! Valerie got back to me promptly, confirming her availability to watch our Indie. From the moment we arrived, she was warm and welcoming, and we knew Indie would enjoy her stay. We were provided with updates, and they really enjoyed having her there. I highly recommend Valerie to care for your pup; our girl came back happy and healthy, and should we ever need someone to watch her again, we will be making Valerie our first choice !”

“- I cannot recommend Jenn enough! - Jenn cared for our sensitive German Shorthaired Pointer who is often anxious around new people and can be difficult to read; and our pup felt so comfortable and happy with her! - Jenn did a meet and greet with us prior to the booking, and you can tell she has a deep knowledge of dog behaviour and that was really reassuring for us - Jenn sent pictures and updates throughout the duration of Dallas' overnight stay, and he looked happy and at home in each one! - Her home has dog toys and is welcoming for pups of all types :) - we didn't worry at all while Dallas was away ; and will be returning to Jenn in the future!”

About: Hi! Growing up with a cat, I desperately wanted a dog (isn’t that always the way?). Within 6 weeks of purchasing our first home, rather than paint or get decorate, we got Dexter, a now 16 year old terrier/pug cross (neutered). 3 years later we adopted Juno, a Shiba Inu rescue from Ohio. Juno crossed the rainbow bridge at age 13 in November 2025 and I quickly realized I have far too much love for pets in me to only have one dog in my life! Oh and my son, who has grown up with TWO dogs, now says he wants a cat. PLEASE READ RE DAYCARE OR BOARDING REQUESTS My boarding and daycares services is a partnership with my husband, Marc. He has owned and been around dogs longer than I have! He works remotely and therefore if you choose to book with us, please be advised that one of us will be home at all times, but not necessarily me! Marc is present at all daycare and boarding meet n greets and while he doesn't do house sits, he may be available for an occassional walk, if I am already booked for the time/date of your request! Please note that as of September 2026, last-minute bookings (under 48 hours) may be subject to an increased booking fee (maximum $20). My general rule is always-on-leash and -always-avoid-other-dogs. If you'd like your dog to be walked off-leash or to meet other dogs, please let me know and we can discuss!
