Sabrina gave him playtime everyday which kept Winter active and content. She accommodated all our requests while keeping Winter which kept us at ease and comforting to know that he is been cared for and is in a safe place where he is happy. About: My love for pet sitting started with my own dog. The first time I left him at a kennel, I quickly realized how stressful that environment was for him. He was much happier and more comfortable when someone could stay with him in a familiar home, and that experience inspired me to provide the same kind of care and comfort to other pets. I’ve been caring for dogs for 8+ years, including walking and looking after my neighbours dogs, and I have experience with dogs at every stage of life from playful puppies to beloved seniors. My own dog is 14 years old and 51 lbs, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and care that older dogs can need. I treat every pet as an individual and take the time to learn their personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I am a college student with the flexibility of most of my classes being online. I am available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, At anytime in the KW area. Your pets comfort and well-being is my priority. When caring for them in their home, I do my best to keep them to their usual routines and schedules so they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease. I’m adaptive and attentive to your instructions, and I’ll make sure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve while you’re away.

About: Helena has taken care of dogs since she was a kid. Together we took care of our friends dogs, and have had two of my own. We have experience with dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Currently we have a puppy in our home, but she is very friendly with dogs. We also have experience taking care of exotic pets like reptiles. We are working from home, so we can supervise pets the whole time. We can do boarding, and daycare, play and spend time with your furry friend. We have a puppy, so your dog will never be lonely or bored :) we make sure to spend time playing, training with the doggies and provide enrichment if they are interested.

About: I have cared for dogs for 20 years, and for the past 10 years have been dog-mom to a special Blue Heeler/Husky. My dog was a very anxious and energetic soul, and I worked closely with trainers over many years to meet his needs and provide him the best home. I have worked with several specialized trainers and learned a lot about dog behaviour and needs. I am a very fit person, and have no trouble with taking dogs for long hikes or runs. I currently work-from-home, and have a lot of flexibility to care for pets. An important note is that I have a 5 year old at home as well, so any pets in my care at my house will need to be friendly with kids. I work from home, and have daytime and evening availability to care for pets. I also do a lot of volunteering in the community. Availability depends on what other responsibilities I have been booked in for in any given week. Advanced requests for care are best. My home has a fenced in backyard, and indoors there are baby gates that can keep pets off the stairs if needed. I have a crate in my home if needed. I am available to take dogs for walks from their homes within Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge.

She arranged for us to have a meet and greet, and I immediately felt at ease. Her children were also very lovely, and they bonded with Rufus, which made it that much nicer. Michelle sent me updated pictures of Rufus to help with leaving him, and when we picked him up, he was happy and very healthy. When we go away again, we will definitely leave Rufus with Michelle.
