“Simply Phenomenal! I’m a dog sitter on Rover myself and I can simply say she outdid her job? I had to board one of my over anxious dogs overnight as I had to head downtown Toronto and she simply took care of him as her very own pup. She kept sending updates to ensure he was doing well which kept me at ease. When I went to pick up Marley I could simply see it in his eyes as to how happy he was to spend the night with her and her lil pup?? Will definitely be using her services in the future as I know my dogs are well taken care of?”
“My pup loved going at Mariella. This was his very first stay with her but he absolutely loved it. He seems very happy and playful while there. I definitely recommend her for your pet. Pico came home so happy and was calm aa well. Thank for being amazing to him.”

“This was the first time we had left Rudy (4.5 months old) for any extended period of time since she had come home with us. I was very anxious about how she would handle being away from us, but she made a new family at Andrea's! From the many photos I received, it was evident that Rudy was right at home with Andrea. We will definitely be booking her again for any of our dog sitting needs!”

“Gail was awesome, taking care of our dog Wally in her home for 5 days and nights in March 2026. Wally was walked 3x per day, and we felt totally comfortable after an initial meet and greet that Wally would be in good hands while we went on vacation. Gail accommodated an early morning drop off so we could catch our flights. And we got lots of pictures while away which we loved. If you need someone to take care of your dog, and love them like you do, don’t hesitate to contact Gail !”

About: I’ve lived with pets my entire life, and have seen all kinds of personalities and needs. I’m always attentive of individual pet needs and treat them like my own. I work full time 8-4 and currently often go away on weekends from Friday-Sunday. Otherwise I’m home the whole time after work to give lots of attention. I can also go home during lunch if ever needed. I’ve recently moved into a new home and have an empty basement at the moment which won’t be furnished for a few more months. Your cat can have their own very large space there with a bedroom included for them. Dogs can enjoy the whole house with me if they are friendly with my cat, and enjoy plenty of space in my large fenced backyard.
“Taryn was absolutely amazing! She took care of both of our dogs after so that they were able to join us for our wedding ceremony! She is very flexible as our drop off times and pickup times were at weird times.”

“Prashant & Apeksha were amazing taking care of our dog Harper. They shared lots photos and videos and gave her lots of attention. We’re planning on using them again while we’re away next week!”

“Valerie and her family are excellent trusted caretaker for our precious little Luna. She takes really good care of her and keeps her on the same schedule. Thank you so much and I highly recommend her!”

“Michelle C. was absolutely outstanding. My first time leaving my pup with someone for such a long period of time, I was a bit nervous at first. She arranged for us to have a meet and greet, and I immediately felt at ease. Her children were also very lovely, and they bonded with Rufus, which made it that much nicer. Michelle sent me updated pictures of Rufus to help with leaving him, and when we picked him up, he was happy and very healthy. When we go away again, we will definitely leave Rufus with Michelle. Thank you for everything.”

“We recently had Cindy and Marc look after our dog Honey, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear she was in loving, capable hands. Honey can take a little time to warm up to new people, but she took to Cindy and Marc straight away, which says everything!! We received regular updates and it was obvious they genuinely cared about her comfort and happiness. When we picked Honey up, she was relaxed, happy, and clearly well loved during her stay. For Honey, it was a real home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to trust Cindy and Marc with Honey again. Thank you both so much! 🐾”

I couldn't ask for a better family to look after my dog. They spoiled them every day, took him on daily adventures and sent my family daily video and photos. I have recommended them to my friends and family. If there was a hire than a five staring, I would give it to them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
