Natalia was excellent. We have never used a pet sitter before, so were hesitant. One of our cats is diabetic so that required someone at same time every day. The cats enjoyed her visits, and she spent time with them to be sure they were ok. Highly recommend Natalia for her care, being on time and checking in with us each day to let us know how they were. Great job!

About: I’ve always been happy to care for our friends and family pets, but I’ve also been on Rover for a couple years. Now jumping back into dog-sitting as I am working remotely full-time. We love having visitors 🐾 and giving them a loving home away from home while you’re not with them! We’ve cared for many types of dogs of all ages and are happy to adapt to their routines and energy levels. One of us works from home full time and the other one goes to the office a couple times a week. We make sure our calendar is updated accordingly to dedicate as much time as possible to care for our visitors. Our guests are welcome as part of our family, we also have a big fenced backyard, so plenty of opportunities for playtime and exercise 🐾🥎

About: PET CARE EXPERIENCE I’ve been around animals my whole life — from dogs to hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and cats — and have cared for many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with gentle handling, enclosure cleaning, basic feeding routines, and adjusting care to each pet’s energy, behavior, and routine. I genuinely enjoy learning each animal’s quirks and tailoring my care to help them feel safe, stimulated, and happy. With dogs, I like to incorporate mental enrichment through games and basic trick training — but only if you’re comfortable with it. I use hand gestures paired with verbal cues for clear, positive communication. Some fun commands I’ve worked on include: • “Statue” – freeze in place • “Quiet” – settle and stay calm • “Kiss” – stand still and allow a gentle kiss on the top of the pup’s head • “Out” / “Get your toy” / “In” – for toy retrieval and clean-up routines I previously offered in-home boarding but now focus solely on caring for pets in their own homes. That experience taught me how to manage routines, monitor behavior, and adapt to each pet’s unique needs with patience and care. After taking a break from pet sitting, I’m reopening my availability and excited to welcome new clients again. I’ve worked with pet parents through Rover and personal referrals, and I’m committed to providing dependable, respectful care. I’m currently self-employed and doing flexible gig work, which gives me the availability to prioritize pet care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to match your pet’s needs. Whether your pet is energetic or reserved, I follow their routine, respect their personality, and ensure they feel safe, mentally engaged, and cared for while you’re away. SCHEDULE I’m currently self-employed and doing flexible gig work, which allows me to fit pet care smoothly into my weekly routine. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and can adjust my schedule to match your pet’s needs. Since I don’t work a traditional 9–5, I can provide attentive, reliable care — whether that’s multiple visits per day or overnight stays in your home. Your pet will always have someone calm, present, and focused on their comfort and routine. SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT I currently provide pet care in my clients’ homes, which allows pets to stay relaxed and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow your routines closely — from feeding and walks to playtime and downtime — so your pet feels secure and well cared for while you’re away. I used to offer boarding in my home and have experience creating safe, calm spaces for pets. While I no longer board animals at my own residence, that experience taught me how to manage routines, monitor behavior, and respond to each pet’s unique needs with patience and care. I take pet care seriously and treat every home with respect — I’m clean, mindful of your space, and always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness.

Walter was amazing with my cat Ducky over the past four nights! My cat is usually very scared and shy, but was perfectly fine around Walter. He was also very flexible and allowed me to shift my bookings back three hours with short notice. It was so nice to not have to worry over the holidays knowing that my cat was well taken care of. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future and would recommend his services to anyone who wants the best care for their pet!

About: I first began this profile as a solo sitter back in 2014 when I was a nomad writer watching animals all over the world. In 2020, I took a short hiatus from house sitting (because the world stopped) and ended up in Toronto, where I fell in love with Andre. We have done a few house sits together since then, and in 2023, I gave birth to our first child, and in early 2025, our second. We did our first long trip with our two little ones recently (to Montreal), so we have figured out how to travel with them. We have some family to visit in Toronto, and we're always willing to pop over (we're currently in London a few hours away). I'll share a bit about our family. I, Vironika, am a writer, poet, and performer. I've won awards for my writing, and I'd be happy to talk to you about any writing projects you're working on. My partner, Andre, is an award-winning internationally-known beatboxer, TedX speaker, and has taught music to kids of all ages. We have a 2-year-old and a 9-month-old. We haven't shared their faces or too many other details about them online, so I hope you understand why they're not in the photos. We'd be happy to tell you more about them in private messages. We love cooking, exploring, and spending time as a family. We're looking forward to our trip and are excited for our kids to meet some animals on the way. When we were house sitting as a couple, it was a bit easier than it will be now, but we're sure that we can keep your house warm and keep your furry friends good company. Andre also adores plants, so if you have any gardening or plant care duties, he is on the job. I do have more experience with caring for animals than Andre does, but he's always willing to learn. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, chickens, fish, and rabbits. I know that caring for a pet is more than filling the food bowl. I've also had to deal with various crises. I've had to take animals to the vet, care for them through injury, and give medications. I also once dealt with a gas leak! We will make sure that you return to a clean, cozy atmosphere with happy pets. All we would need to make us truly comfortable is a bit of preparation for our toddler's arrival. He's growing out of his put-everything-in-my-mouth years, but we still try to keep small objects out of reach, and of course we would need for anything sharp, breakable, or toxic to be put away as well. If you have cupboards with double doors, we have our own cupboard locks. Happy to talk in more detail about any other precautions. We are flexible with our dates and plans. Just let us know what you have in mind. As full-time artists and parents, our schedules revolve around our kids. It's usually pretty easy to fit in daily pet care, but let us know your pet's schedule and needs. We treat other people's pets like they are my own. We make sure to give not only food and water, but also plenty of love, attention, and play.

About: Located in Central Hamilton. I’m a grad student at Mac and a long-time Hamilton resident looking to share my love of dogs with my neighbours. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, temperaments, and sizes, and have adored them all! I have a 4 year old pug named Toby and have cared for other dogs including Frenchies, Mastiffs, labs, and doodles, as well as a few kitties. I’ve spent lots of time walking, feeding (regular and raw food), grooming, delivering pesky medication to, running/exercising with, training, staying overnight with, and snuggling with four-legged family members. I can accommodate lots of pets’ individual needs and have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit in walking, park trips, home visits, and at-home sitting that is convenient for you. I bring a high degree of professionalism to any role, so you can be confident that I’m focused on your pet’s needs (and adorable face). I tend to reply to messages quickly. Toby and I are looking forward to meeting you and your fluffy pal! Daily walks are a must for me and Toby, so we make time every morning for exercise and sniff breaks that your pups are welcome to join us for. I work from home, so I can easily make time for lunch time and evening walks and home visits. My schedule is adaptable to fit the needs of your furry pal(s). During home visits, I’m happy to engage with pets using their favourite toys, inside or in the yard, given whatever parameters you provide. I aim to leave clients’ homes in the same state I find them, cleaning up after meal or playtime - if you have any specific house rules, please let me know! When boarding services are active, I have a large living space and small fenced backyard for play and potty breaks. Pets are allowed on couches at my home, and I have an extra small crate or space for larger one if needed.

About: I have taken care of personal pets for 16 years. My dogs name is Scout, she's a mini bernedoodle. Last year I boarded two golden retrievers for a week. Most recently I boarded a full size shepadoodle and a yorkie mix (blind rescue), also for a week. Both were at the pets home. I currently work a flexible job with start times later in the day. I would be available for morning and afternoon walks. Some evening walks as well. I went to puppy school with my dog Scout so I was able to learn with her the safest way to walk dogs and let other dogs interact depending on the situation and dogs personality.

About: I became devoted about caring for animals beginning with dogs. My Grandmother owned 3 Boston Terriers that I loved to walk and play with. I did this for a 13 year period of time. I learned how to look after multiple dogs who had very different personalities. I learned to feed, groom and walk them at the same time. My grandmother mentored me how to walk them with little to no issues, brush their teeth, feed them and cut their nails. She also owned a Finch which I also helped take care of when I visited. My own pet was a Bunny. Buggsy was with us for 10 years. Rabbits are very unique in their needs and I learned a lot caring for him. He was very loved and cared for, not caged and I know it was for this reason he lived such a long happy life. I also owned two beta fish at different periods in my life and they both lived a very healthy 3 and 6 years. One my most favourite experiences was spent at the barn with my friend who owned a thoroughbred horse. For approximately 7 years, I was fortunate enough to spend many hours at the barn learning to ride as well as grooming and feeding the horses. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience as the barn also had cats, kittens, bunny’s, dogs and sheep. I hope to one or multiple of these animals one day. I am a calm, patient, and compassionate person. You can rest a sure that your fur baby, water baby or feathered friend will be taken care of in a kind and gentle manner. What ever time you are away, you can do so with peace of mind :) I am a Student of The University of Toronto. Monday to Thursday, I have 2 classes a day with a 2 or 3 hour brake between classes. I have Friday's off and I am available to home/ pet sit on weekends (including during the week if you will be away on holiday) to pet walk/ pet sit at your home. I will follow instructions laid out for me by you, the pet owner. I will carry out routines as closely to your pets usual day or as per instructions. If there should be an emergency I will follow your emergency instructions or depending on the circumstance will call an emergency vet clinic. What ever your pet needs or special instructions you can be assured I will follow your wishes.
