About: Animals are often the highlights of my day to day. I recently retired from my corporate career so I can wake up knowing I can do what brings me (and animals) joy full time. I’ve grown up around Beagles, the first being rescued when I was a child, recently passing at the age of 18. We then rescued a much older Beagle that lives his best life at my Grandma’s, as well as my sister who brought a baby Beagle home 😊 I’m comfortable around animals big or small (worked with pitty/hound mixes down to a chihuahua). With all the running around, I do enjoy lounging with my 2 cats at home. I recently switched over from my full time career, so I can be around animals more often! My schedule is very flexible through the weekdays. Weekends being flexible but require a heads up 😊 Regardless where your pet is being taken care of, they will be met with love, empathy and respect. Ensuring their needs (walks in nature or city, food, playtime, naps) are consistently met.

I am a proud dog mom to a 3 and a half years old medium sized husky. She's quite playful, happy, and very friendly with other dogs and, gentle with small breed dogs.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, and most of my experience comes from caring for my own pets. Over the years, I’ve had Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, Labradors, Dachshunds, Shih Tzus, parrots, birds, and turtles, and I’ve also looked after my neighbors’ cats. About: What sets me apart is my experience working in a structured dog daycare environment for 4 years. The daycare was run by someone who trained with Cesar Millan, so I learned how to manage dogs using calm, structured pack dynamics and clear boundaries. Because of this, I’m comfortable handling multiple dogs at once and regularly walked groups of up to eight dogs safely. I have also always had dogs growing up, so caring for them has been a constant part of my life. I understand how to read dog body language, manage different temperaments, and create a calm environment where dogs feel safe and secure. About: I always loved being around the pups, I feel they are my stress busters. Whenever I'm with them I feel happier and always loved playing with them since my childhood. I also worked with agencies where I used to take them to walking or dog sitting and also I have taken care of my friend's dogs and took them walking and played with them in the park. I'm a student and I have plenty of time on the weekends and I'm also free on the weekends to play and walk your pups. About: Training a service/therapy dog gives me purpose. Cleo and I work with all size dogs to boost confidence and improve socializing. I enjoy working with rescues. We also work in the health community doing therapy visits on a daily basis. I also conduct local walks at conservation areas and local dog parks. I am a practicing shaman, that values healthy diet and physical heath of animals. I have a real connection to all living things. I have worked with many small puppies teaching social skills with larger dogs, I practice these skills daily with house training including positive gentle greetings, sitting, eye contact, my walks include avoidance walks, pack walks, guide dog practices at all intersections learning sit and look for cars only crossing when permitted, eye contact training, graceful greetings with all people, extra care with seniors and children, scent training and positive reinforcement is a key practice in my personal experience. Pack walks are great fun and also great exercise, group therapy teachings in pack walks. I have personally done some world travel to many countries working with many cultures. I am a working professional who has a chance to enjoy the small things in life create safe places for people to share and build relationships with people who care about animals as much as I do. Pet Care is apart of my daily life with owning a large dog. I currently volunteer in the morning in waterloo doing dog therapy training. We are a very active team in the community. Caring for animals teaches me how to observe the world from a new experience. Also how to communicate in a language that is not spoken. Caring for something living gives me true purpose in life and I enjoy sharing that energy with all living things. About: Hi there, my name is Fernanda, I’m 24 years old. My love for animals started when I was very little. I have 2 dogs myself and I’ve always had pets since I can remember. I’m studying Animal Biology at UofG and I currently work as a Veterinary assistant at a very busy and renowned hospital in the region. I know how important important pets are and how hard it is to leave them behind during the time that they can’t really come with.
