About: Hi there, I raised 2 service dogs before. I can guarantee I will keep pace with your high energy dogs, until they are tired out. Or if you have elderly dogs, after a short walk giving them the attention they need. Have given oral meds many times before as well as insulin injections! Good at teaching certain commands, with a clicker. Positive reinforcement. Willing to take reactive dogs out too, if they are not the best with people, I still would. I’d recommend a muzzle though. I am super flexible with timing and days. I'd love to help you out whenever you need it! Just reach out. Reliable and quick to respond! I care for them like I care for mine. About: Hi! I'm Taya, a 37-year-old lifelong dog owner offering dog walking, pet sitting, and in-home pet care in KW and the surrounding area. I've spent my life raising large breeds, and the dogs that have shaped me most weren't the easy ones. I know from personal experience the anxiety that comes with finding a trusted person to take care of and understand the needs of a strong and reactive dog. My Cane Corso (147 lbs) was reactive — dogs, bicycles, scooters, you name it — and together we developed what I call defensive walking: staying proactive, reading the environment ahead, and keeping situations calm before they escalate. I know how to manage powerful dogs on a leash and how to advocate for reactive dogs in the real world. My Rottweiler had seizures, which means I'm also experienced in recognizing and responding to seizure episodes and comfortable administering medication on a schedule or in an emergency. I don't panic — I've been there. About: I've taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as cats and fish! Elderly animals are my favorite to work with because I too love leisurely walks and long naps on the couch. I'm currently taking some time off from work, so right now I have an open schedule. I do have my two cats at home to care for so daily visits are no problem as well as over night stays In my home, I care for my cat sons everyday. Including scheduled feeding times, all day naps, cuddles, treats, and play! I believe a clean litter box is the right of every house pet and neglect in that area is nothing short of abuse.
