About: We are two experienced elementary school teachers looking to care for your pets and home. We offer personalized care for all furry friends. From Miniature Pinschers to Boxers, Des has experience with both large and small dogs. Michelle, on the other hand, has a wealth of experience with cats of all kinds. Michelle is experienced in providing a comfortable and safe environment for cats, ensuring they receive the proper attention, affection, and care they deserve. Whether it's maintaining their feeding schedules, engaging in interactive play, or administering medication, Michelle handles each task with precision and love. With our combined experience and passion for animals we provide reliable, compassionate service. We treat your home and furry family members with the utmost respect and attention. Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine as elementary school teachers. During the summer, Christmas, and March break, our availability is wide open, allowing us to dedicate ample time to caring for your pets. During the school year (September-June), we are available during evenings and weekends to provide the care your pets need. If your furry friend can be alone during the day, we can still arrange overnight care, ensuring they’re well looked after even when you’re away. In our care, we prioritize creating a safe and loving environment for pets. This includes regular feeding and watering according to their schedules, ensuring they receive ample exercise and playtime, administering medications if needed, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in their living spaces. We tailor our approach based on each pet's specific needs and preferences, ensuring they feel comfortable and happy throughout their stay.

About: I've had the opportunity to care for several dogs over the years, and have enjoyed welcoming friends' pets into my home. Since the passing of my own dog, I have started pet-sitting casually for friends, and am now seeking to widen my client base. I am conscientious and seek to get to know each dog's unique personality and needs. I'm currently available all day to care for your pet. I have flexible pickup and drop-off hours. I can provide multiple walks per day and frequent bathroom breaks. I have a fully fenced backyard, and live in a bright, open house with plenty of space for play and rest. The indoor stairs leading to the front door are kept blocked off for extra security.

About: I've raised or cared for a variety of breeds for over 25+ years, from puppies to rescues to elderly dogs. Husky-X, Malamutes, Hound-X, American Eskimo and Cairn Terrier-X's have been the core breeds I've handled. I don't currently have a pet living with me, but I love the company of all sorts of scruffy and snuggly fur-friends. I'm an active person (distance runner) and am accustomed to keeping busy bodies and minds occupied. I went through all 4 Levels of training with my female Alaskan Malamute with McCann's Dog Training. While my Mal has since passed, the training gave me a good grounding in guiding and understanding dog behaviours. I'm not afraid of shedding, slobber or reactivity. Please no flexi leashes for your dog's safety and mine. My clients get homemade cookies (if their diet allows) and are welcome on the furniture or on my bed. You set the rules about diet, exercise and any other boundaries. I work from home. I'm an actor and a part-time coach. I have flexibility on weekdays and weekends. Lots of time to attend to my fur-clients need for love, butt-scratches, exercise and playtime. I have a large, fenced backyard, and I supervise it whenever your dog is outside. If in your home, I would also supervise their outdoor play. The level of activity is matched to your dog's needs.

About: I’ve been obsessed with dogs for my entire life. Most of my experience comes from raising my two dogs I had growing up. One of whom lived to be 16 with many health issues - including administering medication, carrying him due to limited mobility, and supporting him during seizures. I’ve worked as a dog sitter, boarding dogs in my home (to both friends and strangers), as well as doing regular check ins for acquaintances pets while they were away. This always includes a walk or two, feeding and watering, lots of cuddles and affection, whatever grooming may be required. I am currently a Masters of Science in Education student, hoping to become an Elementary teacher. I’m looking for some opportunities to care for some pets while I finish my studies. My program is completely remote, which allows me to be at home with your pet for the whole day. I go for regular walks and rarely go away on weekends. I live in a residential neighbourhood with a fenced in yard. I love to spend time outside and walk to Gage park or down by the waterfront. I have two cats who are about 9 years old, and are quite used to dogs being around. They prefer to mind their own business and don’t interact much with dogs in the house.
