About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and have years of experience as their primary caregivers, so having a dog around feels very natural to us. We have a particular soft spot for small dogs and understand their needs and personalities. Our spacious home can be sectioned off to give your dog as much or as little room as they’re comfortable with, and we have a large yard with a smaller fenced area for safe outdoor time. For well-trained dogs, there’s also plenty of space to explore on a long lead. We’d love to make our space feel like a comfortable home away from home while you’re away. We are both small business owners with primarily work-from-home schedules. We have very flexible schedules and are able to give your pup all of the attention, cuddles, and supervision that it may need. We are also happy to drive the little one over to the park or a beach for afternoon adventures. Our home is peaceful with only two adults living here. We do not have kids or other pets and safety is our first priority. Select clients we are happy to pick up and drop off your pet for you or to do house visits for a discussed fee.

About: I have always been the one friends and family call to look after their beloved pets when they are away. And now I have a reactive rescue dog of my own! She has taught me a lot about the proper care, leadership, PATIENCE (I cannot stress this enough) and positive reinforcement needed for reactive dogs. I know that all pets need proper stimulation throughout the day to be happy and healthy, and I am committed to giving them 100% of my attention. I work full-time from home. I can work around deadlines and availability to take care of your pets when you are unable to. I also live with a supportive partner who is able to assist in looking after my own pets while I am away looking after yours. I am fully comfortable with following all pet instructions. I understand the need to be leashed when not in a gated area. I know the importance of crating dogs for their own safe space. Safety and comfortability are my number one priorities! I never leave my dog off leash unless there are solid boundaries. We also have a lot of rules in the home that allow her to understand how things work (no being in the kitchen when I’m cooking, no rushing out the door, waiting patiently for dinner, etc.). And I will always crate her if I am leaving her home an alone for a few hours.

About: I have had dogs growing up and now have my own mini doxie named Finn! He is the cutest boy and my best friend. I know our pets feel like our children, which is why it’s so important to me to give them love and amazing care. I work from home Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and can come by for a drop in or a walk mid day. I can possibly make other times work - send me a message and I’ll see what I can do :) I am happy to give your pets exercise based on your preference. We can play fetch in your yard, go for a walk, or for the couch potatoes, we can just hang!

About: My admiration for pets has lived in me since childhood. I grew up wanting to help animals for as long as I can remember. I worked and volunteered at many pet stores and vet clinics and have a wide range of pet experience. I've even looked after a full grown pig in an apartment! Walking, grooming, and lots of love is just some of the essential care I can provide. Currently working towards learning new training/obedience techniques for dogs. Pet sitting in your home is a great experience for both the pet (+ myself) and is most preferred for me. Animals are most comfortable in their own home=less separation anxiety. As well as, I can look after your home while your away too! I have always had a pet for as long as I've been alive(currently have a pug). Working the essential care for a pet into my routine is very easy and am willingly to adapt to any changes that may be required for your pet. I have a nice fenced in backyard for the dogs to enjoy. As well as, many parks/dog parks nearby for daily exercise or just casual walking. Pets are welcomed in this house! I can provide attention, care/love, food/water, exercise/playtime, and grooming if needed.

About: My first pet as a kid was a cat my family rescued. When I was in high school I volunteered for 4 years at the Hamilton SPCA doing dog walks . And cats and small animal socializing. Career wise I worked in the child care field for 10+ years in different roles. In 2024 I changed jobs to house cleaning I also adopted a rescue senior cat that I later found out had diabetes in 2023 ❤️‍🩹 *** recent update . Because my landlady is also boarding dogs . And her place is small she asked that I no longer do it . My work schedule is flexible. About: Friends and neighbours rely on me to care for their pets. My kids (9 + 6) also love to help provide love and care to the pets in our life. We currently dog sit for my friend’s floofy sheepadoodle in our home multiple times a year. We walk many neighbours dogs, and cat sit when they are away.
