“Pruthu was very easy to work with and really understood our situation and what we needed when caring for our dog. Coco can be quite difficult to handle for strangers, but Pruthu put in a lot of effort from the very first session to bond with him and made him comfortable. That gave us a lot of peace of mind and I was able to be worry free for the four days we were away. Really appreciate the care and effort he put in with Coco. Highly recommend!”

About: I've had the opportunity to care for several dogs over the years, and have enjoyed welcoming friends' pets into my home. Since the passing of my own dog, I have started pet-sitting casually for friends, and am now seeking to widen my client base. I am conscientious and seek to get to know each dog's unique personality and needs. I'm currently available all day to care for your pet. I have flexible pickup and drop-off hours. I can provide multiple walks per day and frequent bathroom breaks. I have a fully fenced backyard, and live in a bright, open house with plenty of space for play and rest. Note that I live on the second level of a house with stairs only access - dogs must be able to do the stairs to come in and out!
“Kirstyn did an amazing job looking after my two cats for a week while I was on vacation. She followed their care instructions perfectly and treated them like her own. She gave daily updates with photos which helped give me peace of mind. Will 100% rebook for my next vacation.”

About: I've provided care for dogs of all ages (newborn to palliative senior), training and energy levels, and breeds (Chihuahuas to Great Danes & Mastiffs) through fostering, boarding and day care/walks. While typically busy on weekdays, I have plenty of free time on the weekends to care for your pet(s). I can usually be available with little notice. I would follow your safety rules and use your preferred tools (leash, harness, etc.) when babysitting/walking. I also have 2 friendly dogs and a fenced yard.
About: I have both professional and personal experience working with dogs and cats! I’ve worked in doggy daycares since I was 15 while also caring for family and neighbourhood cats. Additionally, I’m a Veterinary Assistant student that’s received a fear-free certification along with CPR/first aid training. I love all animals and enjoy caring for them! At the moment, I work part-time at a nearby doggy daycare but I am able to adjust my schedule to accommodate the needs of any future clients I always ensure I’m creating a safe environment for the dogs in my care, if we’re walking or at home. On walks I’ll always survey the area and watch your dogs body language to check for any anxiousness and handle all situations with a calm and collected demeanour.
“Sarah was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond and was so wonderful with our cat, he absolutely loved her. She was a pleasure to work with and made us feel completely comfortable and at ease while we were on vacation. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’m a caring, responsible, and patient pet lover who understands that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I take the time to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I provide. I’m also comfortable following specific feeding, medication, walking, and care instructions to help keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is being treated like family while you’re away. 🐾❤️ I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m able to work around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any routines your pet is already accustomed to. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to keep their normal routine while giving them plenty of love, attention, and exercise. I’m also happy to communicate with owners throughout the stay and provide updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾 Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet. I treat every home and every pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Before each booking, I make sure I understand your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, walking preferences, personality, and any specific instructions or needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space, follow your instructions, and leave everything clean and secure. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and cared for while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in safe and loving hands. 🐾❤️

“Marybeth was wonderful with our senior cat while we were away. Great with communication both before our trip and during. We didn’t worry about Pete the cat at all knowing she was checking in on him! Will absolutely use her in the future and recommend to others!”

“This was the third time Amber has cared for our two cats while we were out of town, and once again, she did an amazing job. She provided daily updates with photos, which gave us peace of mind and showed just how well our cats were being looked after. It's always such a relief knowing they're in great hands — and coming home to happy, relaxed cats is the best feeling. We’ll definitely continue using Amber’s services and highly recommend her!”

“Thank you Prince for taking Otis on walks for 18 days and changing out his food. Despite the efforts Otis did not eat his morning food for all those days and I thought an hour's walk would make him hungry enough. Something learnt from it. Thank you for taking care to the best possible!”

As always Lisa is amazing with Kaya and we honestly gave her less than 24 hours notice we needed her to watch kaya! We really appreciate her accommodating our last minute request 😊 Her communication is great and we are never worried about Kaya while Lisa is with her!

From our meet and greet to after Morgan came by to take care of our 2 dogs, Morgan was fabulous! Having someone new to watch your fur babies is always a cautious step. But our girls loved Morgan right away at the meet and greet… and based on the photos, ours girls had a blast! Most of all, it eased our minds knowing we could go away for the day and our girls were very well taken care off. Thank you Morgan!

We can't say enough good things about Emma! She’s been walking our two dogs, Charlie and Pippen, twice a week and handles them beautifully. Emma is consistently great to work with. She is experienced and very skilled at walking two dogs together on separate leashes. Charlie and Pippen always return happy and well-exercised. We have complete peace of mind when Emma is caring for our girls, and we will definitely be using her for all our future pet sitting and dog walking needs.

Outstanding service. The communication was excellent throughout the entire booking, and I always felt informed and at ease. My puppy is usually very skittish and anxious with new people, they approached her with patience, confidence, and a gentle demeanor that made all the difference. I’m extremely grateful and would absolutely book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
