All dogs welcome
As long as I can remember I always wanted to work with dogs. Growing up we always had Labs. Jibby, a black Lab, was there for the first 12 years of my life. In fact, my earliest memories are of Jibby. Next was Coco, a chocolate Lab, who for 15 years owned my heart. I took her everywhere. Finally there was Jack, a black Lab who despite unfortunate medical issues, remained a puppy his entire 10 years with us. I was in charge of walking, feeding, and caring for these dogs everyday since I was able. Currently, I have a Boston Terrier named Brodie. Anyone who knows me knows how much of a dog person I am, as I treat their dogs as I would my own. With that, I have regular dog sitting, walking and drop-in experience with some of their dogs ranging from Cockapoos to Rottweilers and everything in between. Aside from my own 40+ years experience as a dog owner and caring for the dogs of my friends, I also have schooling. In 2017, I completed a dog grooming course in London Ontario, and ever since I have been bathing and deShedding dogs in a busy professional grooming shop. In my 6+ years at this shop, I have dealt with several different breeds and dogs of all sizes, ages, needs and temperaments. While I have a penchant for larger breeds, there is no dog I can say no to. Currently, I'm available for walks and drop-ins at all times after 11am every day of the week. I do try and keep my rover calendar up to date for any possible changes.

Safety, trust & environment
I will always abide by what the client wants me to do for their pets. Taking pets into my home isn't really a viable option right now, though I might make exceptions, based on the pet in question. When I am in someone's home to care for their pet, I always abide by the owners instructions, catering to the needs of their pet, of course. Experience, respect and basic common sense go a long way.
Ratings and reviews
Dennis was great, he took care of our bunnies well while we were away. Cleaned the litter box, replenished hay. He even came a bit early to look in on them when I was worried. We highly recommend him.

We had a wonderful experience with Dennis while we were away. He took excellent care of Jaken and made sure everything was handled just the way we had requested. From feeding and cleaning to spending quality time playing with him, it was clear that Jaken was comfortable and well looked after. We especially appreciated the regular updates ans photos, which gave us real peace of mind while traveling. It's not easy to trust someone with your pet, but Dennis went above and beyond and treated Jaken with genuine care and attention. We came back to a happy, relaxed cat and a clean home, couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend Dennis!
Rover should have a "superstar" category, and we will nominate Dennis right away! Everything by the book, great communication, he learns instructions on the spot, and our Mr Cat totally prefers him over us :)

Schedule
Schedule: UPDATE (as of March 2025) I am available for walks and drop-ins every day of the week after 11am. Occasionally, I work at a dog grooming salon in the mornings when needed (from 8am to 11am, sort of an on-call basis), bathing and DeShedding many different breeds.
Prices include all fees.
