About: I grew up with a beautiful, high-energy golden retriever, taking him for walks and car rides, brushing him, and giving him tons of pets. As someone who loves animals but isn’t in the position to have a pet of my own, I take any opportunity I can to hangout and take care of them. I had the opportunity recently to dog walk a senior dog and pet sit a couple big dogs for a few family friends and loved every minute of it. I took them for walks and potty breaks, fed them, played with them, and made sure to keep them on their normal routine while their owners were away. I am a quick learner who is able to follow instruction very well and ask questions when needed, so if your pet needs any extra care (for example, administering oral medication), I am more than comfortable taking on new tasks. I am currently in between employment and am looking for ways to make some money while I gear up for a master’s program in Scotland this fall. My availability is very flexible (e.g. mornings, afternoons, evenings, week days, and weekends) as my only other commitment is helping my brother with special needs on occasion. I will have plenty of time to give extra care and attention to your pets. I am very respectful, making sure to treat your home and pets as my own and ensuring their safety. For walks, I’ll make sure to use your preferred collar or harness, take the same walking route if that is what your pet prefers, always picking up their poop and putting it in the proper garbage, and making sure the doors/gates are locked before leaving. If your dog doesn’t enjoy interactions with other pets or people, I will make sure to avoid those situations, or if they do, give them plenty of time to socialize. In the home, I will make sure any hazards are put away, food is secured, things are put back where they belong, and make sure off-limit places stay off-limits. I will follow all instructions and send questions your way if I am unsure about anything. Plus, I’ll send photo updates so you know your pet is happy and well when you’re away.

About: I've had all sorts of pets since I was 7 years old, from fish to cats, to dogs and guinea pigs. Pet care is my number one priority and always will be. I believe that a happy pet is a reflection of the household, and that your pet deserves as much love as my own. I grew up caring for a small havanese dog and now I help my parents with their large standard poodle. I’m best suited to caring for well-socialized dogs with stable temperaments. About: First of all - I empathize with your tough decision; leaving your fur baby in the hands of another is always a stressful experience. I want to make sure this is a pawsitive experience for you - to answer any questions, send regular updates and photos of your fur baby being spoiled, feeling safe and comfortable in your absence - which would be stressful for them as well. I will not derail your training or nutrition routines as I know it takes a lot of work and dedication to raise a healthy, happy pet. I work full time M to F, 8 to 3. If by chance your fur baby needed to spend any weekdays with me, I’m happy to crate or provide a space free of dangers - garbages up, stairs downstairs gated off and peaceful music in the background. I can also ask my folks (retired) to stop by for a pet and a pee. Mainly - I am looking to sit during weekends (when I am fully off) and holidays (I get all school holidays off) - where it will be me and your fur baby from morning till night! Also - if your pet is more comfortable at his/her own home, I don’t mind having the discussion of me staying over with you. I think it would be really beautiful to get to know your pet like an auntie so that you all can rely on a familiar face as you travel and your pets grow older! I live on an acre of land, with a creek in my backyard. I do not live on a busy street, however, I do not have a fenced in property. I would never let your dog or cat outside to roam without myself at the end of their leash. I will gladly exercise your fur baby with toys, lick pads and long-tether leash walks, in the backyard, on the trails (depending on heartworm/tick medications up to date), but I would never let them out of my sight (I wouldn’t even be able to do that with my own fur baby as I don’t want them to get into anything and frankly I don’t trust people out there!!)

Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks, or prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I’m happy to tailor their routine to what they’re used to. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, medication (including eye drops), special feeding routines, and dogs with separation anxiety who need a little extra patience or reassurance. About: I grew up in a dog loving family and we always had at least one dog in the house. I have taken care of dogs as small as 4lbs up to about 90lbs. I live a fairly active lifestyle and like to walk my own dog twice a day. I am comfortable taking care of and walking dogs of any age or size. I am reliable and can work around any schedule depending on the day and week. I work shift work so my schedule is changing every week. I usually have at least 4 days off a week but the days alternate. On days I am available I can typically help with your dog any time of the day I am comfortable walking dogs on a leash with a collar or harness, putting them in and taking them out of a crate if needed, and playing outside in a fenced area with them. I grew up with dogs so I know they all have their own personality, and I am patient with any dog who may need a little extra care or time to trust me

I always request to go to clients house, based on operating a rescue from my home & this provides less change and less stress on all pets not having to loose their owner and be relocated all in the same day. I’m available to work full time hours When visiting your home for your pet I am friendly and reliable. I will be able to play, walk, feed and give companionship to your fur baby. For my own home, since I have moved from my moms house where our beloved 3 dogs stay I currently have no other dogs in my home so if your fur baby doesn’t like other animals that would be no worry in my home. I am a clean and tidy no possible choking hazards. I have a back yard space as well and live on a safe street for walks around the block.
