About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Both big and small dogs. I've always loved dogs and look forward to meeting and supporting more. I work full-time Monday through Friday. I am off at 4pm. And if I can be of any assistance to anyone who works weekday afternoons/evenings/weekends or just needs some extra help with pet care, that's awesome. I know what it's like to feel guilty leaving the house for work/going out or having an emergency that leaves your pets home for extended hours. Pets are not just pets. They are family! And if I can bring owners some peace of mind knowing their dog was let outside to go to the bathroom and checked in on, that's amazing. I will strive to accomplish what needs to be accomplished efficiently, whether that's letting your pet out to use the bathroom, make sure their food and water dishes replenished and get some pets and a little bit of play in. If it's a walk your dog needs, I'm your girl. I love going for walks in general and have experience walking dogs of all sizes. I'm also on a weight loss journey so talking your pet out for a stroll is great for both of us!
“Collin was so flexible and responsive when we needed care for our dog and cat at the last minute! We felt very comfortable that they were in good hands, and we look forward to having Collin pet-sit for us in the future.”

About: Hi there! I have over five years of full-time experience working with animals of all kinds, and a lifetime of caring for my own pets. My background includes hands-on work at horse barns and caring for a wide variety of species—including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small animals, and even exotic pets. I’m deeply passionate about animal care and committed to providing a safe, loving, and enriched environment for every animal I work with. I understand that each pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their individual needs, personalities, and routines. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family—with patience, compassion, and expert attention. I’m also the proud pet parent of Athena, my 3-year-old Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix. She’s my loyal adventure buddy and comes with me everywhere I can take her—whether we’re camping, hiking, shopping, or discovering new places. She’s friendly, active, and well-socialized, and she brings so much joy to our daily routines. Athena helps keep life exciting, and she reminds me every day just how special the bond between human and animal can be. I work full-time during the week but I am available to provide pet care services in the evenings and on my days off. If given a month’s notice I can arrange my work schedule to accommodate you and your furry friends. This flexibility allows me to assist busy pet parents who need reliable, loving care outside of typical work hours. Whether it’s evening dog walks, overnight sitting, or visits, I’m committed to being there for your pets when you need me most. About: *See rates at the end* 🐾 About Me I’m a wildlife biologist and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for animals of all ages, personalities, and species. 🐰 I had bunny before I left for Asia for a year and he was the sweetest little guy!! He was free-roam and littler trained and loved all the snuggles. I learned a lot by taking care of him - as a prey animal you need to take extra care to bond with them and consider their perspective. He still lives happily and remains spoiled with his foster family 🥹 🐱🐶 Pet-Sitting Experience • I have cared for my boss’s senior cats while they traveled, following detailed feeding/medication instructions and providing regular updates • While living in Asia I rescued cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies — providing food, baths, shelter, and vet visits 🐢🦜 Exotics Welcome • I volunteered at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre (animal husbandry) for 2 years • My family has owned and fostered reptiles and parrots, including helping rehabilitate a parrot from an abusive situation 💛 My Care Style Calm, reliable, and detail-oriented. I treat every animal like my own and love sending photo and message updates so you can travel worry-free. Right now I’m in-between finding work and looking at Master’s programs for a career change so I have a lot of freedom and flexibility with my schedule. When caring for pets in your home, I treat both your space and your animal with the utmost respect. I follow your routines and house rules closely, keep doors and gates secure, double-check leashes and enclosures, and ensure a calm, low-stress environment. I’m attentive to behavior changes, proactive about safety, and experienced with everything from seniors to exotics. Your home is left as I found it, and you’ll receive regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident your pet — and your space — are in safe, caring hands 🐾💛

“I had an amazing experience with Renan! He took great care of my dog and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was clear from the start how caring, responsible, and attentive he is. My dog absolutely loved him and came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It’s not always easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pet, but I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog walker!”

About: I’ve been a dog person for life — my first love was our family Golden Lab who proved that 15 year olds can still be puppies at heart. As an adult, I’ve volunteered extensively with shelters and training programs, and I genuinely love the company of a furry companion. I am currently studying for my US bar exams which means that I am home most of the day and looking for a reason to go on a walk. I have a secure, fenced yard and only welcome one dog at a time, so your pup gets calm, focused care and feels right at home. I’m also happy to use a crate if that helps your dog feel safe and comfortable.

About: I've always had dogs, cats, or tortoises at home. I love being in the company of pets. I am careful and attentive to the animal's needs, such as restrictive diets, hygiene, well-being, and leisure. I don't have a permanent job yet, so my hours are very flexible. I live in a quiet neighborhood, and my neighbors also like pets, so we won't have any problems. I live in an apartment with ample space and a large balcony. I don't mind pets climbing on my furniture. I live in a quiet neighborhood with parks for walking with a pet. I enjoy playing with cats and dogs and petting them.
“Monica went above and beyond during our visit. Gave them love and attention. She did extra things for our furbabies. When we did our first meet I knew instantly she was kind and her kids were so sweet with our babies. Thank you again for looking after our babies. The photos made me happy to see our furbabies doing so well under your care. Sending you best wishes”

I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs as well as calmer dogs who prefer a slower pace. I am a university student at Brock, so I have a flexible schedule and can work around my classes. I’m available for walks and visits during my available weekday and weekend hours. I’m happy to discuss a schedule that works best for you and your dog. I prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort during every visit. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walking, medication, and other routines when needed. I’m attentive to dogs’ behaviour and make sure they are secure before, during, and after every walk or visit.
About: I grew up with two dogs when I was growing up and it helped to teach me with maintaining their routines, trying to reinforce positive behaviors, taking care of their medical needs and administering basic medications, and recognizing signs of stress or discomfort early. I treat each pet like they are my own, making sure they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection, along with updates so you always feel confident they’re in good hands. I strive to create a calm, consistent environment so dogs can thrive even while their owners are away. I'm currently working retail part time so I am flexible during the week and weekends. I usually have Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays off. Can do weekends per request I can take care of your furbabies however you need if they require certain medications, feeding schedules, walking or litter cleaning schedules I am flexible to work around you and their needs.

About: I grew up around a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, goats, bunnies, and chickens! I love pets and I love to spend my time with animals. I care deeply about all beings and love to help those needed! I am studying Psychology at Brock University, though I have a flexible schedule. My goal is to prioritize my clients on Rover and my studies. I am open to most availabilities and am excited to spend time with your fur babies! I am very gentle, with reasonable boundaries, especially depending on any care considerations with each individual client! I cannot have pets full-time in my apartment as my roommate is slightly allergic, but play dates are all good!
About: Hi, I'm Kirsten, but you can call me Kirty as all my friends do! I've been looking after animals for other people in my life for as long as I can remember. This is where my passion lies and I want to spend as much time with animals as I can. I have years of experience with cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. Next up on my list of things to learn is animal CPR! I will update once I'm certified. I work a part-time job with fairly flexible hours, and have had to balance both working and pet care many times over the last 5 years. My main priority is to do whatever is best for the pets, so I always find a way to fit them into my schedule. I'm very easy-going so we can always find something that works, together! I've spent many days and nights having slumber parties with pets at the owners houses. Whatever the pet needs, I'm there! I've had to follow special diets, provide medications, and even dealt with night terrors. I love to care for every animal as if they're my own!
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, boundaries, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages and needs, including senior and special-needs pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, crate routines, oral medications, and injectable medications. I’m also happy to follow detailed care instructions because I know how important consistency can be, especially for pets who are anxious, elderly, or require medication. When your pet is with me, I want you to be able to relax knowing they’re being genuinely cared for—not simply checked on. I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates, give them lots of attention, and keep their routine as close to normal as possible while you’re away. Whether your pet wants long walks and playtime or would rather curl up beside me for some company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. 🐾 My schedule is quite flexible, which gives me plenty of opportunities to fit pet care into my day. I’m available on many weekends as well as throughout the week between classes, and I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s normal routine. I know pets don’t always operate on a convenient schedule, so I take agreed-upon feeding times, bathroom breaks, walks, medications, and other routines seriously. If your pet needs a little extra time, patience, or attention, I’m more than happy to provide it. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone else. Communication is really important to me, so you can expect updates and photos while your pet is in my care. I want you to feel just as comfortable with me as your pet does! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, walks, crates, household rules, behavioural quirks, and routines. I’m also mindful of doors, gates, leashes, interactions with other animals, and anything else that could pose a safety risk. I know that being cared for by a new person can be overwhelming for some animals, so I’m happy to let shy or nervous pets approach me at their own pace. I’ll never force interaction, and I’m comfortable adapting my care to your pet’s personality. I treat every home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine and will always communicate with you if I notice anything unusual with your pet.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Niagara Falls
Luisa has been so great with walking our dog Chloe that we decided to try a drop-in booking. She listened to instructions clearly and Chloe had her dream date with Luisa. She fed her dinner, hung out and watched Bluey and even got a walk out of the deal - dream date. Luisa has been our go-to trusted dog sitter and we will continue to rebook with her.

Kirsten did a great job! She communicated regularly and helped out with the transition of our family blending and how our cat and dog were handling it all. She was very attentive and gave great feedback for us at the end to help make things even better for our fur babies. I would highly recommend her! Thank you Kirsten for all you did for our fur babies!
