About: Dogs are my best friends. I have a golden retriever who is my best friend! And would love nothing more then to come meet your fur babies Please feel free to message me and we can discuss the time and day. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I am available all morning and afternoon till about 4 and sometimes on weekends I have an small back yard that’ll be good for my golden and another dog to play in if needed! Your pets safety comes first.

About: First of all - I empathize with your tough decision; leaving your fur baby in the hands of another is always a stressful experience. I want to make sure this is a pawsitive experience for you - to answer any questions, send regular updates and photos of your fur baby being spoiled, feeling safe and comfortable in your absence - which would be stressful for them as well. I will not derail your training or nutrition routines as I know it takes a lot of work and dedication to raise a healthy, happy pet. I work full time M to F, 8 to 3. If by chance your fur baby needed to spend any weekdays with me, I’m happy to crate or provide a space free of dangers - garbages up, stairs downstairs gated off and peaceful music in the background. I can also ask my folks (retired) to stop by for a pet and a pee. Mainly - I am looking to sit during weekends (when I am fully off) and holidays (I get all school holidays off) - where it will be me and your fur baby from morning till night! Also - if your pet is more comfortable at his/her own home, I don’t mind having the discussion of me staying over with you. I think it would be really beautiful to get to know your pet like an auntie so that you all can rely on a familiar face as you travel and your pets grow older! I live on an acre of land, with a creek in my backyard. I do not live on a busy street, however, I do not have a fenced in property. I would never let your dog or cat outside to roam without myself at the end of their leash. I will gladly exercise your fur baby with toys, lick pads and long-tether leash walks, in the backyard, on the trails (depending on heartworm/tick medications up to date), but I would never let them out of my sight (I wouldn’t even be able to do that with my own fur baby as I don’t want them to get into anything and frankly I don’t trust people out there!!)

About: Hi, I'm Kirsten, but you can call me Kirty as all my friends do! I've been looking after animals for other people in my life for as long as I can remember. This is where my passion lies and I want to spend as much time with animals as I can. I have years of experience with cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. Next up on my list of things to learn is animal CPR! I will update once I'm certified. I work a part-time job with fairly flexible hours, and have had to balance both working and pet care many times over the last 5 years. My main priority is to do whatever is best for the pets, so I always find a way to fit them into my schedule. I'm very easy-going so we can always find something that works, together! I've spent many days and nights having slumber parties with pets at the owners houses. Whatever the pet needs, I'm there! I've had to follow special diets, provide medications, and even dealt with night terrors. I love to care for every animal as if they're my own!

About: I have two Goldendoodles who are truly my best friends, and I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my whole life! I’ve always loved caring for and spending time with animals. I’ve also had experience looking after my neighbours’ dogs, including house sitting, walking, feeding, playing, and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. About: I have my own dog that I have taken care of for 12 years now where I have raised, trained, and taught him from 2 months old till now. A special skill that I have taught my own dog is sign language. He knows 25 signs and continues to learn more. In terms of my sitting style, I am well versed in understand dog psychology and behaviour and can pick up responses and adapt to them efficiently. I will also be sure to give clear updates to the pet owners and ensure that proper care and treatment is provided! I am currently working part time and will balance dog sitting/walking on my days off or before/after shifts. Dog walking/sitting also fits into my routine of going for walks and similarly taking care of my own dog. I strongly care for pets in my clients home by investing my energy, care, and support for each pet. I ensure that I meet the pet owners requirements by interacting and keeping the pet company at all times. I will ensure that I perform the dog duties requested by the owners and that I ensure the clients home is cared for.

About: My experience with pet care started with my sister’s dog, who I’ve had the pleasure of helping care for since she was just a puppy. I’ve looked after her in their apartment, making sure she always had fresh food and water, taking her out for walks, and spending time playing and getting her exercise. One of my favourite parts of caring for her has always been getting her outside and letting her have some fun. I’d take her for walks, get some exercise and of course plenty of playtime. I’m newer to pet sitting professionally, but I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and I understand how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’ll take the time to learn your dog’s personality, routine, and preferences and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. About: I love pets. There’s been a pet in my house since before I can remember. I have no professional dog training experience but I have helped train up to 5 dogs over the years. 3 through their puppy stages, teaching them basic commands and different tricks. All of which have been my personal pets. I have experience with larger animals as well, training and riding horses. Just in case you’d be wondering how I’d be able to handle your large dogs. Lol just kidding. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well. My own dog and a relatives dog, both have passed away now. I and my family cared for my dog through his fight against cancer in his senior years. We were able to keep him strong and healthy that he actually did not die from cancer, he beat it. My relatives dog in his senior years was blind and deaf. He would wander away if left to his own devices, so you really had to watch him, especially outside. They always trusted me to take care of him whenever they went away on a trip. I always returned him back to them safe and sound. Most days I am at home for the morning and afternoons. So I’d really like to be able to get out of the house and do something meaningful during that timeframe. With my own pets I make sure they are all fed and have water daily. In warmer weather I take them out more frequently on walks and trips to the park. I really enjoy spending time with them. They enjoy our time together the most when we’re playing fetch or when they are cuddling up next to me. So pet care for me is a daily routine. I have a variety of pets in my home. We have a fish tank so what I do is I turn on their light and feed them if no one else has done that yet. We also have birds so in the mornings I wake them up by taking the cover off their cage and I open the door so they can get out and fly around. I also check if they have food and water. If they need fresh I give them fresh. And for my dogs I check if they have food and water and if they need it I give them new food and water. And I let them outside to go to the bathroom when they need. For a clients pet I would not treat them any different than I would treat my own dogs. In fact I would treat them with more care. Something I’ve been taught growing up is that if someone else trusts you with something of theirs you treat it better than if it was your own. That includes their pets.

About: Hi! I’m Holly, a lifelong dog lover who works from home, so your pup will get plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I have a 15 year old small fluffy white dog with medical needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog’s care. Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks, or prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I’m happy to tailor their routine to what they’re used to. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, medication (including eye drops), special feeding routines, and dogs with separation anxiety who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I know every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their personality and routines so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands. I’d love to meet you and your pup! I work from home, so I am available to take your dog on walks, playtime, and potty breaks as needed. There is a dog bed in my office for your pup to hang out with me! I am attentive to all specific instructions. About: I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment. I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold. I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.

About: I've been around animals my entire life! Growing up we've always had multiple pets in our home. We've raised kittens into cats and puppies into dogs, all of this providing me with excellent hands-on experience with every stage of care in an animals life. Since I was 10, I've been responsible for feeding, walking, and looking after them. Now at 21, I’ve taken my dogs through training courses and have had plenty of experience caring for pets when my parents travel—making sure they’re happy, healthy, and loved! I am entering a full time job where I will work weekdays 9-5 but I have nights and weekends off and would love to help care for your furry friends! Although my yard is unfenced, I’m more than happy to take your dogs out multiple times a day and go outside with them on a leash to run and play. I’ll also gladly accommodate any specific requirements you have to ensure you and your pet feels safe and comfortable.

About: I will make sure that your dog feels loved while being away from your care. They will never feel alone because my job is to keep them company and make sure their mind is occupied by going for walks or playing in the backyard. Long story short, your dog will never be bored with me as I will be by their side every second we are together. I have had a dog for 8 years and I treat her like she is my dog child and your dog can expect no different. As for availability, I am pretty flexible and with some notice can be available pretty much anytime I am needed. I hope you trust that I will take good care of your dog child. I am currently working full time from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. I have hour lunches to be able to go home during the work day and my husband is at home all day and is able to care for your pet while I am at work. I like to make sure I take extra good care of a client’s home and that I respect their space as I would want somebody to respect mine. I grew up in a house with a single mother who taught me how to maintain a clean house so I like to do the same when I am staying at someone else’s place. Same goes for their pets. I had my fur baby for more than 10 years between my high school and university years and I loved her more than anything. I want to care for your pets like it is her I am taking care of.
