“Naomi and Sam kept in contact with me while boarding my dog for 10+ days! My dog was pampered with lots of pets and had daily exercise! Would highly recommend Sam and Naomi to anybody!”

“We took our two year old Westie to Jen and Brents for an overnight stay to see how she would do. Maggie loved being there. She was so well cared for that when we came to pick her up it was like a quick 'Hi!!' and kiss and she was off. We where curious to see how she would fair at betime but she snuggled in on their bed (although she is a 'bed hog!!!' or I say a 'pillow hog?'. but felt right at home. They spent time playing with her with her toys, making sure she had lots of outside time. Maggie loves to be outside. So we would highly recomend Jen and Brent to take care of your beloved pet anytime if you are looking for exceptional care. We will be using them again for sure.”

“Siobhan was awesome with Beanz! She had a great yard and nice dog. Beanz cried a bit at night and she went the extra mile to get up and stay on the couch with him. You can tell she is a dog lover, Beanz seemed to have an awesome time. Thanks Siobhan!”

“I had to make alternative plans for boarding my dog the week before Christmas. I was in a bad spot and wanted the best care for Trouble. Samantha was extremely accommodating. Since I was nervous leaving my dog she provided updates and pictures through Troubles stay for me which was a gigantic relief. I also had to change my return plans to significantly earlier because of weather and again she accommodated the last minute request. I'm very happy and Trouble had a fantastic time. If I need to board Trouble again I will definately reach out to board with Samantha and her family.”

“Shannon took amazing care of my pups while I was away for a girls wknd. She was super friendly, responsive and responsible. And my pups came back tired, so I know they had a fun and entertaining time with Shannon and her pup Henley!! :) I’ll gladly book with Shannon again!”

About: Hi! My name is Vanessa & my family and I are passionate animal lovers with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve been a dog mom to three Maltese dogs throughout my life, all of whom lived happy, healthy lives to 15, 15 & 16 years of age, giving me extensive experience with everything from puppies to senior dog care. My wife entered my life with a 9-year old American Staffordshire Terrier who left us at 14 years of age. In addition to my own pets, I have experience dog sitting and dog walking a variety of breeds including terriers, american bulldogs, golden retrievers, and more. I work exclusively from home Monday through Friday, which means your pet will have plenty of supervision, attention, companionship, and outdoor breaks throughout the day. We live in a detached home with a fully fenced-in yard and lots of space to play, explore, and relax. The waterfront trail to Port Dalhousie is just a few steps away from our front door! We also share our home with our friendly 7-year-old cat, who is gentle but may take a little time to warm up to new furry friends. Our animal-loving 6-year-old son is very knowledgeable and respectful around pets and has grown up surrounded by animals. Pets are like family in our hearts & home! Dog care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work exclusively from home. This allows me to provide frequent outdoor breaks, walks, playtime, supervision, feeding, and companionship without your dog being left alone for long periods of time. Caring for animals has always been part of my life, so maintaining routines like walks, exercise, feeding schedules, grooming, cleanup, and giving them plenty of attention is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. Our home environment is calm, structured, and pet-friendly, with a fully fenced yard and lots of space for pets to safely play and relax. When caring for dogs in my home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and part of the family. Because I work exclusively from home, dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of supervision, attention, companionship, and outdoor time throughout the day. To ensure every dog gets individualized care and a low-stress environment, I only accept one dog at a time. This helps avoid overwhelming your dog and also allows me to respect the comfort and space of our resident cat in her home environment.
“Camilla and her husband were great with Charlie. He was happy and very well cared for. Charlie’s generally not good with strangers, but he got along with them very quickly. I am glad I have found them. They will be looking after Charlie every time I need somebody hopefully they’ll be available.”

“Jade was awesome! Sh looked after my 15 week old pup Marlo and made me feel very comfortable leaving her there. She made sure that Marlo would get along with the other dog in her care and would send me pictures of Marlo. Also her response time was always very quick. Would highly recommend.”

St. Catharines dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had a great experience with Karen and Jorge. They took excellent care of our dog, kept us updated, and were very accommodating when we needed a later pickup. Their flexibility and understanding were greatly appreciated, and it gave us peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. We would happily book with them again.

Camila and Santiago took extremely good care of my senior, quirky dog who sometimes has separation anxiety. They were open to a meet and greet and took to Angel right away, and she seemed very comfortable with them very quickly! They sent daily photos and made me feel completely at ease with my first time using Rover. Will definitely book again!

Shannon took amazing care of my pups while I was away for a girls wknd. She was super friendly, responsive and responsible. And my pups came back tired, so I know they had a fun and entertaining time with Shannon and her pup Henley!! :) I’ll gladly book with Shannon again!

Jade was awesome! Sh looked after my 15 week old pup Marlo and made me feel very comfortable leaving her there. She made sure that Marlo would get along with the other dog in her care and would send me pictures of Marlo. Also her response time was always very quick. Would highly recommend.

Marisa has done multiple drop in visits for my puppy Nemo, while I was away at work, when Nemo was small. She also boarded Nemo (now 5 months old) for a week recently and Nemo was so ecstatic to see Marisa, which was heartwarming to see. Marisa even picked her up and dropped her off which was great. She has always been punctual and sends updates while caring for your pet. I felt very comfortable away while Nemo was boarded with Marisa.

Melissa was one of the greatest borders I’ve ever had my dogs stay at. She works from home so almost always with them, is extremely accommodating, quick on responsiveness and great at providing updates with pictures. Believe it or not, she boarded my THREE Dobermans, 2 girls and a boy, for a full 24h while I had to get out of town. Also a plus for owners with big dogs who play rough with other dogs; nothing to worry about, she does not have a dog of her own living with her! Always very positive and professional in our interactions, will definitely use her boarding services again if ever needed!

Connor was absolutely exceptional. From the moment Draper arrived, it was clear he was in thoughtful, capable, and genuinely caring hands. Connor communicated consistently with detailed updates that were reassuring and honest, which made a huge difference while I was traveling. He was attentive to Draper’s comfort, routines, and little nuances, especially during a sudden cold snap, and went out of his way to make sure Draper stayed warm, comfortable, and happy. Draper settled in beautifully, bonded quickly, and was clearly relaxed, content, and very well cared for. It is obvious Connor truly loves what he does, and that care and calm energy shows in how dogs respond to him. I could not have asked for a better experience and would trust Connor again without hesitation. Highly recommend.

Ruby was so lucky to stay with Heidi and her husband Paul while we were away on vacation. They have the perfect set up (large backyard, tons of grass, spacious home) and they made us feel comfortable leaving Ruby with non-family for the first time. Highly recommend Heidi for dog sitting!

Alannah and Rob provided excellent care for my 2 dogs over the weekend. It was our 1st time so I was a bit nervous but after meeting them both on drop off day and pick up they both seemed calm, caring and committed to the well being of my dogs they had just met. They are confident, experienced and provided sufficient communication throughout the time - quick responses, photos and a video to calm my nerves! Thank you both!

My pup stayed with Daniel and his family for two visits, totalling almost a month. He was well looked after, communication was good, care instructions were followed and they sent occasional update photos. My dog has lots of energy and they were up for the challenge!
