“Thank you so much for caring for our cats over the New Year's holiday. They are obviously very fond of you, and we have complete peace of mind when we travel, knowing they are being cared for by you. Christian”

“This is our second time booking Lise & Luwam! We had to be away from home for almost a week and knew that our cats were both in such good hands. We loved the updates and photos during each visit, and appreciate their attentiveness to caring for them and giving them the human attention we know our cats love 🩷”

“Emma did a great job caring for our cats while we were away. She played with them during every visit and sent several photos so we could see the fun they were having. We will definitely book with Emma again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for the past few years while pet parents are away. I am able to feed, walk and medicate dogs as needed, since I work in the veterinary world. I work full time at a local veterinary clinic 4 days a week, so that leaves 3 full days to cherish and love pets while pet parents are away on vacation. I have lived with cats all my life and have always loved visiting my friends and grandparents dogs whenever I was over there. I have also done some private dog and cat sitting with referrals from friends and family.

About: I've had all sorts of pets since I was 7 years old, from fish to cats, to dogs and guinea pigs. Pet care is my number one priority and always will be. I believe that a happy pet is a reflection of the household, and that your pet deserves as much love as my own. My skills include: - Feeding/ Diet Preparation - Walking/Running - Light Grooming (brushing) - Nail Cutting - Bathing - Cleaning After Pets - Changing/Cleaning of Pens and Fish Tanks - Trapping Cats and Rodents - Medical Administration I've had puppy training with my family, I am aware of the skills and practices needed for training and development. Feel free to contact me at anytime with any questions you may have. I currently have a 7 year old cat, who I look after daily, my responsibility with her would look the same with your pet, I treat your pet as I would my own, with love and care as if it were my own child. My cat gets as much love as possible, she receives a well balanced meal to keep her healthy, as well as consistent water for hydration and play time to keep her mind and body active.
“Emily took great care of our cat and rabbit while we were away. She did some other tasks at the house which is greatly appreciated. Emily is reliable and a pleasure to work with! Thank you!”

“Kristen was easy to communicate with and gave very thorough reports for her visits with lots of pictures, my timid cat warmed to her well. We are so appreciative of the service we received.”

“My husband and I went away for two weeks, and we rebooked with Becca because she always goes above and beyond! She checked in on our two cats daily, and made sure they got plenty of love, food and play time! She also cleaned and filled the water bowls and the litter box daily which was great! We know that with Becca our cats will always be well taken care of while we are away, and we will definitely be booking with her again for future trips☺️”

“It was great to have Jacqueline take care of Walter while I was away. My usually timid cat did not cower and hide which means Jackie is quiet and caring. As I understand they had great conversations - lol. She made the entire process very easy and when I returned home she had the cat's food and dishes cleaned and orderly. Thank you from Jeff & Walter.”

About: My friends always said that I must have been a dog in my past life. I have always grown up with dogs and if I’m not working or at home taking care of my own, I’m at my friends hanging out with theirs dogs rather than them. I’ll treat your furry family members as if they were my own even if that means saying goodbye at the end of the night. To keep things simple I am here to give out the love these fur babies deserve when mom and dad need to work, go out for a nice dinner or just get out of the house! I am very much so looking forward to meeting your pets and being a part of their life! If you’d like to know more about me check out my insta: happytailswithkiara you can follow along and meet my furry new friends. As a devoted pet owner myself I truly understand the importance of a reliable routine and the peace of mind that comes with quality care. My workday runs from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, so I am always up early to ensure pets are walked, fed, and given plenty of love before I head out. I offer full availability every evening and enjoy a flexible schedule with every other Friday weekend and Monday off allowing me to dedicate entire days to your animals' needs. Whether it's early morning exercise or extended companionship on my days off, I treat every pet with the same attention and heart that I give my own. Whether I’m hosting pets in my home or visiting yours my goal is to provide a seamless, stress-free experience tailored to your animal's comfort. In my home, I offer a secure fenced in backyard perfect for playtime and potty breaks. I have two friendly dogs and cats who genuinely adore other animals; while I like to be transparent that the initial meet-and greet can be a little overwhelming for my pack as they get excited to make a new friend they settle in quickly and have successfully welcomed many guest pups before. I am equally comfortable and completely flexible with house-sitting in your home or hosting in mine, ensuring your pet stays happy, healthy and loved in whatever environment suits them best.

About: I am a friendly, energetic 26 year old who loves all furry friends! Growing up on a farm, I have had a long history of working with animals. I love dogs, and I began dog sitting and taking care of dogs when my family adopted our dog Riley 10 years ago. Through the years, my family has also fostered many dogs, and I have really enjoyed taking the dogs out for long walks, runs, and out to play. I would love to take care of your dog for you, whether they’re big, small, shy, outgoing, lazy or energetic. (I am also very good with cats and other small animals). I look forward to meeting you and your pet. When I am looking after a pet, their care is my top priority. I always put them first and give them as much attention as they need. I care for pets in my home very attentively and thoughtfully. If a pet has a favourite treat or a favourite activity or enjoys being pet a certain way I will make sure to give them that treat activity or walk.

Jacqueline is an absolutely wonderful sitter! She took excellent care of our little girl while we were away. It was Scarlett's first time without her humans, and considering she has a tough past, we were concerned about how she would feel. Jacqueline made sure that Scarlett felt safe and comfortable, offering kindness, soft words, and continued patience. She was always on time and made sure to send us photos and updates 🙂 We would definitely recommend Jacqueline and hope that she would want to sit for Scarlett again in the future 💖 Thanks again, Jacqueline!

Tiffany is amazing! She is very kind and patient with our shy/anxious kitties. She followed our instructions and did everything flawlessly. Her ponctuality, attention to detail and comunication are great traits too. She sends detailed updates and photos at the end of each visit. It is always stressful to leave our cats when we travel, so I am relieved to have found such a dependable pet sitter. Thank you, Tiffany!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
