Their attention to detail and genuine care for our pup, Teddy, always makes our time away stress-free! From the moment we met, it was clear that Yvonne & Jim take their responsibilities seriously. Their prompt communication and willingness to follow our pet care instructions put our minds at ease. We appreciate the extra effort they always put into playing with Teddy, taking him on lots of walks, giving him lots of snuggles & making him feel so loved. We also love all the updates with photos/videos they send during our time away - it's nice to see how much fun he's having! Returning home to a clean and well-maintained house is always an added bonus and as much as I know Teddy is happy to see us, I know he misses Yvonne & Jim when they leave. Always makes for a fun reunion when they return for the following sit - I don't know anyone else that he gets THAT excited for, they're both definitely some of his most favourite humans! Remy uses this knowledge to then go the extra mile to create positive experiences, ensuring that each furry friend feels safe, happy, and engaged during their time together. 19. Shannon H.
About: Hi, my name is Shannon and I am an avid animal lover. My family has owned dogs, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs since I was 8 years old. Currently, in my home, are two quirky 3-year-old pug brothers, one cuddly 10-year-old pug female, and the alpha of them all, a 12-year-old bichon-poodle mix. My fur babies are fed a specific diet, on a schedule, that includes supplements as well as medications. The 12-year-old male wears a diaper as he has a hard time (or chooses not to) control his bladder when in the home. It is checked and changed regularly. I walk the 3-year-old brothers 3-4 times a week, during cool weather, and have been successfully working on re-call, reactivity and pulling. I would love to be able to provide the same compassionate care to your fur babies as you see fit! I hope we are a good match and look forward to chatting more. Thank you! I currently work Monday-Friday from 8:35AM-2:45PM. I am available from 3:30PM-TBD Monday-Friday, as well as full weekend availability, and overnight if needed. I am a substitute teacher so I am also available every so often full days on Fridays and Mondays depending on DSBN schedule. I will ensure your pet's water is changed regularly and that they do not have access to anything that could cause potential harm - fragrances, sprays, diffusers, foods etc. If your puppy is an avid chewer I will create a space that is as free as possible from any household objects that may look fun to bite on, while also keeping on eye on your fur baby at every moment possible to correct, remove or replace any non-puppy friendly toys. I will respond to your pets needs as required for bathroom breaks, meals and treats. I will clean/change litter or training pads as they become soiled. I will ensure your pet is provided any necessary medication as directed based on time and amount.
