“This was the first time Luka stayed with Genevieve and her son Alex. It was an overnighter! It was the first time in a long time that Luka was away overnight. While Luka showed some signs of anxiety i believe Genevieve and Alex handled it with the utmost of compassion. They are really focused on the pets they care for. At pick up time Luka was still very attentive to both of them and showing signs of affection in her own ways. When she got home, she was very calm and right back into her routine. I have nothing but positive feelings about her stay and care. Also very important, Genevieve communicates well with owners which is very helpful in knowing how things are going. I usually work in the afternoon so i would be available to care for your pets for at least a half hour before or after work. Gen and Alex are very loving, caring and intuitive in their approach to meeting the needs of each individual ‘loved one’ entrusted to their care. Gen is a gentle, thoughtful soul who has shown us that Charlie’s well being and comfort are as important to her as they are to us. Gen and Alex have a home that is reflective of their desire to make sure that our pets have everything they could possibly need… toys (squeaky, squishy, large, small, mentally stimulating, etc.,), places to rest and snuggle (comfort/calming pet bed, couch, Gen’s bed for Charlie as he likes the security of being with his ‘loved one’), they have thought of everything! We didn’t know if we could find anyone who would tick every box when it came to leaving our Charlie in their care for a month while we were away, but Gen and Alex made us feel confident in them after Charlie’s first meet and greet!!! Charlie took to them after his second meet and greet (Gen suggested a second one to make sure that Charlie was 100% comfortable with them, which was wonderful). We booked a day camp for Charlie to become better acquainted with Gen and Alex before his long stay and the entire experience was great for Charlie and he settled right in for the day… Gen sent photos and updates to us to help us as we adjusted to leaving Charlie and it really did let us see that he was well taken care of, happy and having a great time. Look no further than Gen and Alex, we don’t think there could be any better than these two!! Highly recommend!!!”

About: I had two family dogs growing up for 12 years that we’re calm and easy to take care of, then I got my own dog who was the exact opposite. He had extreme behavioural issues, anxiety, epilepsy, and aggression. Taking care of him really taught me patience, added responsibilities, understanding and a different kind of love and appreciation as a caregiver. I’ve also fostered dogs which has given me experience with different breeds and needs. I now share custody of a 4 year old border collie/golden retriever mix who LOVES other dogs and people. We worked with multiple trainers with him and learned a series of obedience training, off-leash training, and much more knowledge regarding dogs. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I’m available to take care of, play with, and pay attention to your pup always! We have a half fenced yard and a huge park near us to take the pup out easily! We also have a 2.5 storey house with a basement for lots of room to play and wander. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to play with and pay attention to your pup throughout the day! I have a backyard and a front yard for easy bathroom breaks. There’s also a huge park beside my house to run and play at, plus a bunch of trails to go for long walks!
About: I will make sure that your dog feels loved while being away from your care. They will never feel alone because my job is to keep them company and make sure their mind is occupied by going for walks or playing in the backyard. Long story short, your dog will never be bored with me as I will be by their side every second we are together. As for availability, I am pretty flexible and with some notice can be available pretty much anytime I am needed. I hope you trust that I will take good care of your dog child. About: I take care of my parents dog when they go on vacation, which is very often. I feed him and walk him 2 times a day. I usually work in the afternoon so i would be available to care for your pets for at least a half hour before or after work. My schedule is revolving so please inquire my weekly availability I will offer unconditional love to your family pet. Make sure to feed/water fresh. I will make sure they have gone out adequately and frequently as needed.

I work for myself from home, so my schedule is flexible and I can spend lots of quality time with your baby. Your pet will have no shortage of attention, snuggles, quality time and exercise. Dogs love routine- whether they're staying with me or at your house. Waking up at the same time each morning makes certain they get the ya-ya's out and don't have to wait to go potty. Puppies and older dogs with more urgent bladder needs will of course be accomodated with extra supervised trips outside and puppy pads if needed. I'm very conscious that there are no animal-toxic foods/plants/fragrances left out for pets to get into. You can rest assured your pet will be fed the proper amounts, medicines, and brands of your choice to protect their digestive system. My home offers a big beautiful bike path on the river, where your pet will get tons of good walks and a big house to explore. For cats, I have a large but contained space for them to roam and also find seclusion without getting lost. Their litter box will stay in the same spot every time so they know where to go, and they will always have fresh litter. I would love to play with them so bring their favorite toys! No other pets are in the home as all of our babies passed of old age. Adult family members share the home, so there is extra help. No kiddos are in the home so no concerns there. If in your home, I'm very diligent about making sure doors are secure and locked so pets don't escape. I always know where your pet is and make sure their environment is calm and quiet.

About: I have taken care of neighbours pets growing up, as well as having dogs and cats in my own home as a child. I currently have a cat and would love to care for others as my own. I work full time in the social services field during the week, but have evening and weekend availability to watch and/or care for your pets. About: I had two family dogs growing up for 12 years that we’re calm and easy to take care of, then I got my own dog who was the exact opposite. He had extreme behavioural issues, anxiety, epilepsy, and aggression. Taking care of him really taught me patience, added responsibilities, understanding and a different kind of love and appreciation as a caregiver. I’ve also fostered dogs which has given me experience with different breeds and needs. I now share custody of a 4 year old border collie/golden retriever mix who LOVES other dogs and people. We worked with multiple trainers with him and learned a series of obedience training, off-leash training, and much more knowledge regarding dogs. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I’m available to take care of, play with, and pay attention to your pup always! We have a half fenced yard and a huge park near us to take the pup out easily! We also have a 2.5 storey house with a basement for lots of room to play and wander. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to play with and pay attention to your pup throughout the day! I have a backyard and a front yard for easy bathroom breaks. There’s also a huge park beside my house to run and play at, plus a bunch of trails to go for long walks!
About: I’ve been a dog person for life — my first love was our family Golden Lab who proved that 15 year olds can still be puppies at heart. As an adult, I’ve volunteered extensively with shelters and training programs, and I genuinely love the company of a furry companion. I am currently studying for my US bar exams which means that I am home most of the day and looking for a reason to go on a walk. I have a secure, fenced yard and only welcome one dog at a time, so your pup gets calm, focused care and feels right at home.
