About: I've been working with dogs for about 7 years now! I've been a nanny for energetic, rambunctious, and playful dogs, I've been providing housesitting, dog walks, and drop ins for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, turtles, lizards, and fish, and I have loved every minute of it! I treat every animal and home as my own! I help families have peace of mind and feel safe and comfortable leaving their precious, furry family members in my care. I enjoy getting to know new dogs and each one's unique personality and I find myself building quick connections with them. I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and love taking dogs for walks and fun adventures! I am currently seeking to fill a couple midday recurring walk or drop in spots, ideally in Niagara Falls, or a nearby city. My daily routine is very flexible! I am an ECE as well so I also work with children, but I have plenty of time in my schedule to take care of your pets! I live in Niagara Falls and can provide care for dogs in my home or in the client's home. I prefer to take dogs for walks near their homes, but would be willing to drive them to farther destinations if required. I have my own transportation and am available for overnight care (with my husband). I am very respectful of my client's homes and their pets. I am responsible and I genuinely care about maintaining the level of safety and comfortability for the pets when I am in their home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Niagara Falls
Charlene took great care of our Gracie for a day and overnight while we were out of town. We were fortunate that she was able to accommodate us on short notice! Charlene also sent us lots of pictures and some videos where we could tell that Gracie was having lots of fun playing with her own dog Dora, as well as some downtime resting with Dora. We would definitely be happy leaving Gracie again in Charlene’s care.

Zaira and her family took care of cooper so well while we visit Niagara Falls. Their family was so accommodating especially since needed somebody last minute. Cooper came back happy and he seemed drawn to the kids. They also have a cute small dog and a huge backyard for him and I’m so glad they were willing to take cooper. Thank you!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for Angie. ❤️ From the very first update, it was clear how much love, care, and attention she was getting. The detailed messages, thoughtful observations, and adorable photos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. What amazed us most is how relaxed and happy Angie was during her stay. In the past, leaving her without us was always stressful for her, but this time was completely different. She clearly felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Seeing her cuddled up, peacefully sleeping, enjoying walks, watching the neighbourhood from the balcony, and bonding with everyone absolutely melted our hearts. The patience, affection, reassurance, and understanding Genevieve and Alex gave her made all the difference. We could tell you really paid attention to her personality and needs. Thank you so much for treating our girl with so much kindness and love. We are beyond grateful and would trust you with Angie again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend! 😊🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
