“Forget looking for someone else to watch you pet while you are away, Genevieve is the person you want! She gives your pet a ton of love and care along with as many updates and photos you’d like. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“We needed a place for Sam to stay on the spur of the moment and we found Monique on Rover. We were updated frequently during her stay with pics and creative captions. Sam was so well cared for and enjoyed the company of the two resident canines immensely ! Thank you so much for providing such great care Monique!”

“I booked Beverly because I thought she would take good care of my Lola while I was away. And she did. She messaged me almost every day I was away and sent pictures! Lola had a good time and got along well with Bev’s dog, Daisy. An added “perk” is the fenced in back yard where I knew Lola could do her “zoomies” safely. I didn’t worry about Lola getting good care while I was away. I highly recommend Beverly and would book with her again.”

“Zaira did an amazing job watching my dog Dex last weekend! He had a great time with her family and I especially appreciated her responsive communication and lots of photo updates. Thank you!”

“Ryan was great with Lilah! Paired her up well with a sweet pug. Then brought her for a big walk, I could certainly tell because of how tired she was when we picked her up. I received so many updates and photos which really relieved us. Thanks Ryan once again for your expertise with dogs and making Lilah so comfortable so we could go discover Niagara!”

“Charlene is a kind, calm and pleasant person. She took amazing care of Lenny for an overnight at her place. Charlene was very easy to communicate with and she sent sweet photos and videos of Lenny’s stay. I would HIGHLY recommend Charlene if you are looking for a loving place (with a fenced yard) for your dog to stay. Thanks so much!”

“Wow, our dog had a great time with Eliane and her husband. Great people who loves dogs, we had peace of mind after meating with them, and did not worry about our dog once. They sent pictures, and walk the dog more than we do it ourselves, we are very thankful. Thank you again guys, we appreciate that you took good care of our dog ❤️”

“This was our second time using Rover, and I am so thankful we chose Charlette and her family. From the moment we dropped our dogs off, they fell in love — and honestly, so did we. Charlette was amazing. She followed everything I asked, kept me updated, and sent pictures so I always knew my babies were safe and happy. Her whole family treated my dogs like their own, and that meant the world to me. You can truly feel the love, the patience, and the care they put into watching them. I’ll definitely be booking with Charlette again. If you want someone who treats your dogs like family, she’s the one. We will definitely be booking her again.💕🐶”

“Janelle took wonderful care of our puppy, Ciela! She was warm, caring, and kept us updated throughout Ciela’s stay, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Ciela came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Janelle and will definitely book with her again!”

“Angie was great with our pups, she provided daily updates with pictures. Yes I would I would use her again. I highly recommend her she went above and beyond behind with there stay. I give her a 5 out of 5 star.”
“I had to make alternative plans for boarding my dog the week before Christmas. I was in a bad spot and wanted the best care for Trouble. Samantha was extremely accommodating. Since I was nervous leaving my dog she provided updates and pictures through Troubles stay for me which was a gigantic relief. I also had to change my return plans to significantly earlier because of weather and again she accommodated the last minute request. I'm very happy and Trouble had a fantastic time. If I need to board Trouble again I will definately reach out to board with Samantha and her family.”

“Jolene and Martin and their family were so incredibly nice!!! They took terrific care of our sweet Great Dane. They went out of their way to ensure Dilly was happy and comfortable. I highly recommend them.”

“Erica is sweet ! wonderful ! She watched my 13 year old Maltese for 4 days and treated him like he was her own. He never goes away from family but I was in a pinch so I tried this site. So happy I did ! She gave him love and attention and he was content and well cared for. She kept in touch with photos and comments on how he was doing. Erica is awesome !!!! I hope she will be able to watch Bear again.”

“Thanks, Jennifer & Brent. As always, Copper had a great visit with you and we really appreciate your flexibility and accommodating style! Ron, Jennifer & Copper”

“Our Shiba has her first time in life boarding experience and Kelly definitely made it a great one. From the photos and videos we had an idea how Amber is enjoying the time at Kelly’s house. She took one of the best Amber’s portraits and we now save it as some of our profile pictures. Thanks Kelly for the great care and we will refer you to our friends!”

“Naomi & Sam were amazing sitters for our 3 yr old (85 pound) Bernese Mountain dog. Our dog was able to stay with them for 6 nights and while she was with them she got lots of walks, great play time with their dog and kids and Naomi sent us pictures of all of her adventures every day. Having a large breed dog in your home is a challenge for many people, and this family was awesome. I would highly recommend using Naomi and Sam for a short or long stay with your dog - they were GREAT hosts. We will be booking with them again for sure.”

“Collin was wonderful to have looking after my precious Luna. We met before my vacation to put my anxiety to rest. He had my kitty for 9 days and treated her very well. The communication and care he offered was appreciated. I received regular photos and videos during my trip. He even bought her some new toys. I forgot her scratch post when I picked her up and he dropped it off for me subsequently. Thank you so much Collin!”

“Jenn and Brian were fantastic! They made sure Millie was comfortable and got along with their dogs very well. She was all tuckered out after I picked her up. I would use their services again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Niagara Falls
Zaira and her family took care of cooper so well while we visit Niagara Falls. Their family was so accommodating especially since needed somebody last minute. Cooper came back happy and he seemed drawn to the kids. They also have a cute small dog and a huge backyard for him and I’m so glad they were willing to take cooper. Thank you!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for Angie. ❤️ From the very first update, it was clear how much love, care, and attention she was getting. The detailed messages, thoughtful observations, and adorable photos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. What amazed us most is how relaxed and happy Angie was during her stay. In the past, leaving her without us was always stressful for her, but this time was completely different. She clearly felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Seeing her cuddled up, peacefully sleeping, enjoying walks, watching the neighbourhood from the balcony, and bonding with everyone absolutely melted our hearts. The patience, affection, reassurance, and understanding Genevieve and Alex gave her made all the difference. We could tell you really paid attention to her personality and needs. Thank you so much for treating our girl with so much kindness and love. We are beyond grateful and would trust you with Angie again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend! 😊🐾

Charlene took very loving care of my Twyla for an overnight stay at her home last month. Dora and Twyla hit it off really well! I was very reassured by the many updates and photos that Charlene sent over shortly after I dropped my pup off at her place. Twyla is a 11 months old and has selective hearing, but Charlene took it all in stride!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
