“Monique is fantastic. Our girl Pepper was very happy and looked after. We loved the pictures and videos she sent us so we knew our girl was fine. I would highly recommend Monique.”

“Charlene took great care of our Gracie for a day and overnight while we were out of town. We were fortunate that she was able to accommodate us on short notice! Charlene also sent us lots of pictures and some videos where we could tell that Gracie was having lots of fun playing with her own dog Dora, as well as some downtime resting with Dora. We would definitely be happy leaving Gracie again in Charlene’s care.”

“They were great and constantly kept us updated each day along with photos. I highly recommend them to take care of your pet. We’ll definitely use their services the next time :)”

“We had to leave Simba with Richard for a long duration of 21 days. We’re a bit worried as Simba was never away from us for more than a week in past. However we were amazed to see how quickly Simba formed a bond with Richard and Oreo ( Richard’s pet) during the meet and greet session. Richard is an amazing dog lover. He sent us regular updates and pictures of Simba without us having to remind him. Simba was really happy with him and had a great time. Richard also made him try Christmas clothes.. lol. When we went to pick up Simba, Richard had neatly packed all his stuff so we didn’t have to worry. It was very sweet of him and his partner to have knitted a woollen winter beanie for Simba that he absolutely loved. We as parents are glad that Simba stayed with Richard while we were on vacation. Definitely going to Richard for repeat as long as he’s available. Thanks again!”

“Meagan took awesome care of our little Mille. Right from the moment we met Meagan and her family we knew Mille would love staying with them. We plan to have Meagan take care of our dog again.”

“Samantha and her family were amazing with my two golden retrievers for ten days! I got lots of updates and pictures. They were so happy and when they got home they weren't upset or anxious at all. You could tell they recevied lots of love while we were gone and had a great time. Thanks Samantha!!!”

“Charlette was wonderful!!! Nikey does well with new people, but can get nervous in new environments. Charlette treated him with kindness and patience. She was able and willing to work with his normal routine and sent plenty of updates and pictures, which helped me feel at ease. Nikey warmed up to her, her home, and her family quickly. We are so happy to have connected with Charlette and will absolutely request services again!!!”

“Super dear, I treat my dog super well. He was very happy and content. They played him a lot. I loved all the videos and photos they shared with me. Perfect communication. Everything was at the last minute and it worked super well”

“My husband and I were nervous we would not be able to find a sitter for our dog Enzo for our wedding weekend. Enzo is a more advanced dog, and requires more attention than most, due to his aggression with other dogs. From the moment we met Brent and Jennifer, we knew he would be in great hands. Both of them are confident and competent experienced dog owners, and gracefully handled all of Enzo's dog run ins. We received nightly updates and pictures filling us in with what Enzo did that day. It was our first time leaving Enzo alone for more than one night, and were nervous (plus nerves from our upcoming nuptials), but Brent and Jennifer calmed our nerves. I would have them watch Enzo over and over again and recommend them to anyone! It is a shame they do not live in London!”

“Naomi & Sam were amazing sitters for our 3 yr old (85 pound) Bernese Mountain dog. Our dog was able to stay with them for 6 nights and while she was with them she got lots of walks, great play time with their dog and kids and Naomi sent us pictures of all of her adventures every day. Having a large breed dog in your home is a challenge for many people, and this family was awesome. I would highly recommend using Naomi and Sam for a short or long stay with your dog - they were GREAT hosts. We will be booking with them again for sure.”

“Collin was wonderful to have looking after my precious Luna. We met before my vacation to put my anxiety to rest. He had my kitty for 9 days and treated her very well. The communication and care he offered was appreciated. I received regular photos and videos during my trip. He even bought her some new toys. I forgot her scratch post when I picked her up and he dropped it off for me subsequently. Thank you so much Collin!”

“Jaime was absolutely amazing with our large dogs. She made them feel so comfortable and gave us daily updates. My dogs are actually sad today because I think they miss her!!!! The care and attention she had was unmatched. Do nit hesitate to book her.”

“5 starts! Very reassuring and helpful! They took great care of ludo and would send me pictures and videos of him every now and then. He looked very happy and comfortable.”

“Sarah took great care of our baby fur Moka. She sent photos and update us regularly. It made our trip so much better knowing that Moka was being well taken care of. Thank you Sarah for your love and care of our Moka!”

“Noelle was amazing with Daisy! I was in a tough spot after my original sitter cancelled last minute before a big out of town golf tournament. Noelle responded right away and saved the day! From the moment I dropped her off I knew Daisy was in great hands. Noelle kept me updated with messages and photos and it was pretty clear Daisy was having the time of her life with plenty of playing, relaxing and cuddling. This was Daisys first night away from home, so I was worried there might be some challenges, but it turns out she did better than I could have ever expected. The peace of mind it gave me knowing Daisy was in such great hands allowed me to shoot my personal best score and walk away with a tournament victory. I will definitely be booking with Noelle again. Especially on golf tournament days!”

“My dog Jordan was well taken care of. I highly recommend Raisa for dog boarding. She let me know how my pup was doing and sent pictures. She was very kind and I am grateful to have found her. Would definitely go through her again. 10/5 stars!”

“Janelle was wonderful to deal with. She provided great communication with updates on Gracie’s stay. We loved all of the pictures and could tell that she really cared for our girl. Gracie came home in good spirits and was very relaxed. I would recommend Janelle if you’re looking for great care for your puppy!”

“Jolene and Martin and their family were so incredibly nice!!! They took terrific care of our sweet Great Dane. They went out of their way to ensure Dilly was happy and comfortable. I highly recommend them.”

“My puppy was so happy at Courtney space! And I appreciate Courtney was doing a wonderful job sending me photos of my puppy. I will definitely reach out to Courtney for taking care of my baby doggie again. 100% recommend her!”

Zaira and her family took care of cooper so well while we visit Niagara Falls. Their family was so accommodating especially since needed somebody last minute. Cooper came back happy and he seemed drawn to the kids. They also have a cute small dog and a huge backyard for him and I’m so glad they were willing to take cooper. Thank you!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for Angie. ❤️ From the very first update, it was clear how much love, care, and attention she was getting. The detailed messages, thoughtful observations, and adorable photos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. What amazed us most is how relaxed and happy Angie was during her stay. In the past, leaving her without us was always stressful for her, but this time was completely different. She clearly felt safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Seeing her cuddled up, peacefully sleeping, enjoying walks, watching the neighbourhood from the balcony, and bonding with everyone absolutely melted our hearts. The patience, affection, reassurance, and understanding Genevieve and Alex gave her made all the difference. We could tell you really paid attention to her personality and needs. Thank you so much for treating our girl with so much kindness and love. We are beyond grateful and would trust you with Angie again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend! 😊🐾

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
