We had met with another sitter before them and it just didn’t feel right, but from our very first meet and greet with Heather and Matt, we immediately knew they were the perfect fit. We felt confident leaving Charlie in their care. They treated him like part of their family and truly loved him. Their communication was exceptional—we received regular updates and lots of photos, which gave us such peace of mind. This was especially important to us as Charlie had recently had surgery to remove a lump on his back and still had stitches. They followed all instructions perfectly and were so attentive and caring. Charlie is also very spoiled and loves being cozy with his blankets, and they went above and beyond by setting up his bed near the fireplace to keep him warm! We felt completely at ease the entire time and were so impressed that we’ve already booked another stay. We cannot recommend Heather and Matt highly enough.”

“This was the first positive boarding experience our 9yr old golden retriever has ever had (admittedly he usually stays in kennels). Normally, our retriever is stressed and anxious but Maddie clearly has a lot of experience and settled our dog almost immediately. Her home and yard provide the perfect environment whether your dog is active or just prefers to lounge on the couch. Her obedient lab and daschund were great companions. A nearby park and green space/creek provide a convenient off-the-road exercise venue. Maddie walked our dog right at sunrise before it got too hot and gauged his energy level throughout the 3 day stay to ensure he wasn't overworked. She provided frequent updates with photos and clearly he was a very happy dog. Medication was also property administered. I certainly plan to use Maddie's services again and highly recommend her!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs and giving medication when needed. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. There are two people in my household, so there is almost always someone at home to supervise and take care of the dogs. Even if we go out, it is never for very long, so your pet will not be left alone for extended periods. I can take dogs on daily walks and also bring them to nearby parks so they can get exercise and enjoy the outdoors. I make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks. I only accept a limited number of pets at a time to ensure each dog receives enough care and attention. I will treat every dog like my own and do my best to make them feel happy and comfortable while staying with me. I am a student at McMaster University and spend most of my time at home. I do not need to go to campus very often, and even when I do, I am usually not away for long periods of time. I personally provide all care for pets in my home, including feeding, walking, supervision, and attention. Your dog will not be left alone for long periods, and I will make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I truly love dogs and have experience caring for pets. I am patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s needs. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all pets in my home. I always supervise dogs closely and make sure they are never left alone for long periods of time. I follow each dog’s routine and any instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and special care requirements. I also make sure the environment is secure and free of hazards. If any issues arise, I will communicate with the owner right away and handle the situation responsibly. My priority is always to ensure that every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: Our whole family loves dogs. I have done dog training courses in the past when I got our puppy. They covered walking techniques, confidence, positive reinforcement, obstacle courses, and calm speech. It was so rewarding being able to communicate and recognize dog behavior. Puppies to seniors, all are welcome. Plenty of love and attention! I’m currently doing this full time, so I have plenty of time for your furry family member. My schedule is flexible for the range of services I provide. So, please contact me with any questions . I have a fully fenced yard. Im close to the Bruce trail so nature walks are easy get to. So we’ll be getting a lot of exercise and stimulation.

They seem like genuine dog lovers who took great care of Zilla for the few days she was there. I think she is already looking forward to going back.”
