“This was our first time using Rover and we couldn't have chosen better than Ruth! Ruth is just such a calm, caring person who we know loved our dog like her own. Our dog loves walks and he received nice long ones every day with Ruth. I think our pup was a bit spoiled with Ruth which we truly appreciated. We will choose Ruth again when we need the service and hope she will be available!”

“Hayley was really great with Piper, sending us photos and taking her for a long walk with her dog Penny! We felt really comfortable leaving her for the night while we attended a wedding! Would highly recommend Hayley!”

“Can’t thank Heather and Matthew enough for taking such great care of our dog Tucker. Tucker can be a bit anxious though he settled in nicely and had a great first visit! Booking again right away!”

“This was my first experience using a pet sitter and Teena and Wayne did not disappoint. They took good care of Sheamus and he seemed happy to stay with them. I've already recommended them to my neighbor who is looking for a pet sitter.”

“Our dog Darcy continues to receive excellent care and attention while boarding with Maddie, her dogs and her incredibly helpful husband, Steve. Darcy is always eager to run up to the house when I'm dropping him off so he obviously enjoys his stays. It almost makes me wonder if he wants to move in!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Rebecca provided for Lily. She made sure Lily got plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. Rebecca is organized, dependable, and a true dog lover. Lily is already looking forward to her next stay!”

“Shelly was a great host!! They took great care of our Milo and took him on alot of walks. They also kept in contact with us to provide us with updates. We will definitely contact Shelley again for his next stay!!!”

“It was our first time booking with Jessica, and we’re so glad we did! She was quick to respond to our messages, and setting up a meet-and-greet was simple and stress-free. Jessica and her partner were wonderful with Jane, keeping us updated with messages and photos of her adventures during both days of her stay. We felt completely at ease knowing Jane was in such good hands and would absolutely book with Jessica again!”

“I can't say enough good things about Liz. This was the first time to put our cat with someone new but Liz's love and kindness put us to ease. She sent daily photo updates, she treated Quinn like her own. There was no other pets and the house is well prepared for hosting pets. Quinn definitely miss her and will be back for sure. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended”

“Kerri-Lynn was great with our dogs, one of which is 14 years old and deaf and one who is timid and afraid of new places. She kept sending pics of pur dogs throughout the night and it was obvious they had settled in perfectly and comfortably!”

“I cannot recommend Barbara enough! Our dog is always very comfortable in her home. Barbara keeps us updated and takes wonderful care of Boudicca. Thank you Barbara!”

“Bright was a loving and thoughtful caregiver for Bailey. This is the first time Bailey has stayed over with someone that was not family. At first she was hesitant but she fell in love with Bright during her stay and was so well cared for. Highly recommended!”

“Lana and Artur are exceptional sitters! They watched Jubilee attentively during our meet&greet, and asked plenty of questions, to ensure it was a good fit. It was obvious that they love dogs and have a deep understanding of canine behaviour. During her two stays, they spoiled Jubilee and sent us periodic pictures and videos of her enjoying the yard, playing with puzzles, and having a blast with Jet. She can be anxious while away from us, but she eased within 5 minutes of her first stay. It's clear that she feels safe and comfortable here. Lana and Artur will definitely be our go-to sitters whenever we need someone to care for our girl. Thank you!”

About: Our whole family loves dogs. I have done dog training courses in the past when I got our puppy. They covered walking techniques, confidence, positive reinforcement, obstacle courses, and calm speech. It was so rewarding being able to communicate and recognize dog behavior. Puppies to seniors, all are welcome. Plenty of love and attention! I’m currently doing this full time, so I have plenty of time for your furry family member. My schedule is flexible for the range of services I provide. So, please contact me with any questions . I have a fully fenced yard. Im close to the Bruce trail so nature walks are easy get to. So we’ll be getting a lot of exercise and stimulation.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a 10. I have experience with small to medium size dogs. I have owned a Chow chow, American Eskimo, Minature Pintsher, a Shihtzu. I can go out for multiple walks a day to keep the dogs happy and not bored I am in a townhouse. I do have stairs but they are fenced off. I am comfortable with senior care and giving medication. I have a shower and a tub for baths after our waterfront walks. I have a balcony perfect for people watching and sunbathing. Clean and smoke free environment.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Grimsby
Our dog Oakley is a senior and has lost her hearing, so I was a little nervous about leaving her with someone while we went away on a four-day camping trip. But I felt immediately at ease when I met Ruth. She was amazing with Oakley—kind, attentive, and very understanding of the extra care that comes with looking after a senior dog. It was clear that Oakley was treated like a member of the family, and she loved all the walks and attention she received! We also really appreciated the pictures and updates Ruth sent while we were away. It was so reassuring to see that Oakley was happy, comfortable, and being so well cared for, and it allowed us to enjoy our trip without worrying about her. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Oakley with Ruth again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and trustworthy to look after their dog. Thank you Ruth!
