“Kimmy was amazing with our elder cat Echo while we were away. Echo even loved the treats she brought for him. We will definitely book again with Kimmy. Thank you so much”

“Kim did a great job, checking in on Charlie. Charlie loved the attention and Kim was quick to respond to a last minute request. I would be happy to use Kim again for any of my pet needs.”

“Sheila is lovely. Very calm and gentle. We are so thankful that Sheila was okay with giving Daisy her medicines and her sub -Q fluids since not everyone would be comfortable with that. We haven’t been on vacation for 5 years and it was great to get pictures & updates to help us feel comfortable about Daisy’s wellbeing”

“I’m grateful I found Jessica. I travel for business occasionally and just moved to the area. She’s been fantastic with my kitty from the first meeting. Very professional and caring. Thank you Jessica!”
“Julie was great. It didn't matter too much to my kitties that she arrived when she said she would, but she did, which was peace of mind for me. I'm happy to recommend Julie and looking forward to the next vacation when we she will hopefully help us out again.”

“This was a last minute booking, and as always, Kirsten was able to help us out. She always takes great care of our cats and makes sure to play and spend time with them.”

“Nick did a great job taking care of my cat and dog for a week. Even with them not being used to being with a stranger for an extended period of time, they warmed up to him quickly and really enjoyed his company.”

About: I’ve always felt a special connection with dogs, and my time spent fostering and doing rescue work really taught me how to connect with them on their level. It showed me how much patience and love it takes to make a pup feel truly safe. To turn that passion into a daily routine, I also worked at a doggy daycare, which is just as fun as it sounds! It’s given me amazing experience with every type of dog personality imaginable—from the high-energy goofballs to the quiet ones who just want a buddy to sit with. I know how hard it is to leave your furry best friend, so my goal is always to treat them exactly like family, keeping them safe, happy, and understood. Having recently moved to Ontario, my schedule is completely open and flexible! Because I'm settling into the area, pet care isn't just something I squeeze into my day, it is my daily routine. This open availability means I can completely adapt to your pet's specific clock, whether they need early morning walks, strict mid-day routines, or just a consistent companion throughout the week. When staying in your home, my top priority is keeping your pet's routine exactly the same so they feel safe and stress free. I treat your space with total respect while focusing on personalized care whether that means high energy playtime, long walks, or just quiet companionship. With my background in reading animal body language, I’m always attentive to their comfort levels and safety. Plus, I’ll keep you connected with regular photo updates for total peace of mind!
About: I've provided care for dogs of all ages (newborn to palliative senior), training and energy levels, and breeds (Chihuahuas to Great Danes & Mastiffs) through fostering, boarding and day care/walks. While typically busy on weekdays, I have plenty of free time on the weekends to care for your pet(s). I can usually be available with little notice. I would follow your safety rules and use your preferred tools (leash, harness, etc.) when babysitting/walking. I also have 2 friendly dogs and a fenced yard.
“William took great care of my cat George while I was traveling. He always goes the extra mile and George is incredibly comfortable with him. I’d absolutely recommend William as a sitter — he’s reliable and easygoing and really cares about your pet’s experience!”

About: Hi! I’m Hannah, a 26 year old Canadian currently living in Grimsby, Ontario. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always felt like second nature to me. Back in high school I started working in dog daycares through a co-op program, and quickly realized this was exactly what I wanted to do. From 2016–2022, I worked in different dog daycare and care centres across Ontario, gaining extensive experience working with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I want both pets and owners to feel comfortable knowing their pup is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and giving them all the love and attention they’re used to at home! Warmly, Hannah It fits seamlessly into my schedule as pet care is my full time job. Any day, anytime I am available. Send me a message to schedule! I am unable to provide pet care in my own home, but I can travel to the client’s home or hotel to care for their pets. I offer services such as dog walking, outdoor exercise, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love while the pet remains comfortable in their own environment or outdoors! :)

“Teresa took on my Persian cats with an open heart and they were so comfortable around her. She is so great with animals and takes the time to allow them to warm up. Both my cats need pills and she took on the high maintenance kitties with pleasure! And took time to play with them! This took so much stress and worry off my shoulders. We are so thankful to Teresa! And will be booking her again!”

About: First of all - I empathize with your tough decision; leaving your fur baby in the hands of another is always a stressful experience. I want to make sure this is a pawsitive experience for you - to answer any questions, send regular updates and photos of your fur baby being spoiled, feeling safe and comfortable in your absence - which would be stressful for them as well. I will not derail your training or nutrition routines as I know it takes a lot of work and dedication to raise a healthy, happy pet. I work full time M to F, 8 to 3. If by chance your fur baby needed to spend any weekdays with me, I’m happy to crate or provide a space free of dangers - garbages up, stairs downstairs gated off and peaceful music in the background. I can also ask my folks (retired) to stop by for a pet and a pee. Mainly - I am looking to sit during weekends (when I am fully off) and holidays (I get all school holidays off) - where it will be me and your fur baby from morning till night! Also - if your pet is more comfortable at his/her own home, I don’t mind having the discussion of me staying over with you. I think it would be really beautiful to get to know your pet like an auntie so that you all can rely on a familiar face as you travel and your pets grow older! I live on an acre of land, with a creek in my backyard. I do not live on a busy street, however, I do not have a fenced in property. I would never let your dog or cat outside to roam without myself at the end of their leash. I will gladly exercise your fur baby with toys, lick pads and long-tether leash walks, in the backyard, on the trails (depending on heartworm/tick medications up to date), but I would never let them out of my sight (I wouldn’t even be able to do that with my own fur baby as I don’t want them to get into anything and frankly I don’t trust people out there!!)

“Alicia did a wonderful job looking after our cat Jimmy while we were out of the country for 2 weeks! It was our first time leaving Jimmy so we were nervous, but Alicia made the whole experience fantastic with daily updates and photos. We came home to a very happy cat, and would definitely book Alicia again the future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Grimsby
She was absolutely wonderful! Very professional, kind, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. My cat absolutely adored her, which made me feel so much more comfortable and reassured. I’m incredibly grateful for her help and support. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet. Thank you so, so much! ❤️🐈⬛

Jessica is amazing! She is reliable, easy to work with, was able to accommodate an extension of dates, and goes above and beyond (I was having surgery and received flowers; she put them in water and sent me a picture!). I'm grateful for her assistance and I know my boy Thirteen is as well :)
