She can be a little anxious and picky with her food, but they were so patient with her and even hand-fed her to make sure she was eating. They kept me updated throughout, which really helped me feel at ease. I could tell Mishti was in caring hands. They also took her on lovely long walks, which she really enjoyed. Their communication was exceptional—we received regular updates and lots of photos, which gave us such peace of mind. This was especially important to us as Charlie had recently had surgery to remove a lump on his back and still had stitches. They followed all instructions perfectly and were so attentive and caring. Charlie is also very spoiled and loves being cozy with his blankets, and they went above and beyond by setting up his bed near the fireplace to keep him warm! We felt completely at ease the entire time and were so impressed that we’ve already booked another stay. We cannot recommend Heather and Matt highly enough.”

“This was the first positive boarding experience our 9yr old golden retriever has ever had (admittedly he usually stays in kennels). Normally, our retriever is stressed and anxious but Maddie clearly has a lot of experience and settled our dog almost immediately. Her home and yard provide the perfect environment whether your dog is active or just prefers to lounge on the couch. Her obedient lab and daschund were great companions. A nearby park and green space/creek provide a convenient off-the-road exercise venue. Maddie walked our dog right at sunrise before it got too hot and gauged his energy level throughout the 3 day stay to ensure he wasn't overworked. She provided frequent updates with photos and clearly he was a very happy dog. Medication was also property administered. I certainly plan to use Maddie's services again and highly recommend her!”

About: Being a dog lover my entire life, I have always taken any opportunity to work with dogs. My first job was at Ren’s Pets Depot, where I was able to interact with pets and their owners every day. Over the years, I have raised three guide dogs through the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, as well as provided dog sitting for their fosters and career-changed dogs. About: I've had dogs since I can recall. We had an old man past almost a year ago roughly living until 17.5 years old. Stubborn but loving dog! Got a beagle within last few years of our old dog's life. I don't live at home with the beagle anymore, just my cats but I still love dogs as well! I have experience providing meds via a syringe. Not really pills for dogs/cats. Also putting on a diaper and getting up through the night, removing diaper, putting back on. Getting up a few times a night for puppies. With their small bladders. If you worry about noise complaints by playing in the backyard, I can walk them a couple times in a day if needed. I'll love them like my own! And take lots of photos :D I do work a 9-5:30pm job (Monday to Friday). I would still be able to feed/let out or by leash to let them do their business in the morning. When getting up to feed and before leaving for work. After work feed/another bathroom break/walk/a bit of play and some cuddles ofcourse! (I don't leave my cats alone for overnight stays. My partner takes care of my children when I'm away) I can't do boarding but I can do overnight stays/drop ins. I usually prefer to have the owner write a list of instructions for how much food to be given/times if they extra meals, a supplements needed or medication. I always use alarms for medication so I don't forget to. And for any additional information thats good to know or where things are located. I may still ask the owner where things are if I can't find an item. I make sure items are not in reach or access to anything their not supposed to have. I won't leave your place in a mess, I can vaccum if needed before returning. I love being around pets and wish to provide them care/love while you are away. Care for them and hopefully can sleep with them. Unless they don't want to. I hope you can give me the opportunity to care for your furry children!

“This was the first positive boarding experience our 9yr old golden retriever has ever had (admittedly he usually stays in kennels). Normally, our retriever is stressed and anxious but Maddie clearly has a lot of experience and settled our dog almost immediately. Her home and yard provide the perfect environment whether your dog is active or just prefers to lounge on the couch. Her obedient lab and daschund were great companions. A nearby park and green space/creek provide a convenient off-the-road exercise venue. Maddie walked our dog right at sunrise before it got too hot and gauged his energy level throughout the 3 day stay to ensure he wasn't overworked. She provided frequent updates with photos and clearly he was a very happy dog. Medication was also property administered. I certainly plan to use Maddie's services again and highly recommend her!”
