About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and dogs have always been part of our family. We have dogs of our own, so I know how hard it can be to leave your pup with someone else and how reassuring it is to know they’re somewhere they’ll be genuinely loved and cared for. I’m home a lot, so your dog won’t be spending their day alone. I love having dogs around me, whether that means going for walks, playing outside, having a little shadow follow me around the house, or cuddling up on the couch. I’m also a mom of three, so our home is definitely a real, busy, loving family home! I’ve had dogs since I was 12, and all of them have been Labs — so you could say I have a lifelong soft spot for big, goofy, loving dogs. ❤️ I recently said goodbye to my sweet Maggie after 16 wonderful years together. She lived a long, happy life surrounded by so much love, affection, and care, and she truly was everything to me. My home feels very different without her, and I realized how much I miss having a dog around. Growing up on the streets of Istanbul, I spent my childhood caring for stray cats and dogs, learning to understand their behavior in all kinds of situations. Now, I’m the proud dog parent of Cookie, a sweet (but reactive!) 3 year old pup. So, I totally get what it’s like to manage walks with anxious or reactive dogs. Been there, still doing that! For the past five years, I've been sharing my love and experience with pets by helping fellow pet lovers care for their furry family members. I’m also a volunteer dog walker/handler at a local shelter, where I work with all types of dogs, including those with special needs and behavioral challenges. I’ve fostered, adopted, and helped pets find their forever homes. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime, or just a little TLC, I’d love to help. About: Being a dog lover my entire life, I have always taken any opportunity to work with dogs. My first job was at Ren’s Pets Depot, where I was able to interact with pets and their owners every day. Over the years, I have raised three guide dogs through the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, as well as provided dog sitting for their fosters and career-changed dogs. I also worked at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA as a canine assessor. In addition, I have volunteered as a photographer for various animal rescue organizations such as Save Our Scruff and Bark at the Moon K9 Rescue. Because of this experience, I have the ability and knowledge to care for a wide range of dogs, from puppies to anxious dogs to rescues. I can provide a calm, structured, and welcoming environment tailored to each pup’s individual needs. Lyndon, my 7-year-old black Lab mix and career-changed guide dog, is easygoing and social. He loves the company of other dogs and will be a steady, friendly companion during their stay. Olly, my 6-month-old dachshund, is a bit more reserved at first but warms up with time. Once comfortable, she enjoys playful moments like chase and fetch! Together, Lyndon and Olly help create a balanced home environment that can suit both confident and more sensitive dogs. I also have Olly my 6-month-old miniature dachshund, who is a bit more reserved at first but settles in with time and enjoys gentle play once she is comfortable. About: Our whole family loves dogs. I have done dog training courses in the past when I got our puppy. They covered walking techniques, confidence, positive reinforcement, obstacle courses, and calm speech. It was so rewarding being able to communicate and recognize dog behavior. We’re a quiet household with no children or pets of our own. Jenn practices yoga and meditation, so there’s usually a pretty peaceful vibe around here. We’re happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication and sleep routines so their stay feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. About: I have a way with animals. They seem to respond to me. I use a strict tone so they know when to listen. I use a different tone when it comes to playing. At the moment I just became unemployed so I see this as an opportunity to do what I've always wanted to do. Work with dogs. Mega love. Always fresh water. Fed accordingly to what the owner wants. I always have treats on hand. I talk to them and make sure they're not stressed.
