“Meagan, you and your family did such an amazing job caring for my pup, Alfie! Meagan followed all of my requests and kept me updated throughout the whole entire visit according to my request. Their home is intentionally set up to accommodate caring for a dog, with areas gated for safety. Her daughter's are also extremely sweet and I appreciate that they spent time and playing with Alfie. They are clearly dog savvy kids and were very respectful of him and his needs. I don't even think Alfie knew I was gone 🙄😂 Thank you very much Meagan & family!!”

About: Being a dog lover my entire life, I have always taken any opportunity to work with dogs. My first job was at Ren’s Pets Depot, where I was able to interact with pets and their owners every day. Over the years, I have raised three guide dogs through the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, as well as provided dog sitting for their fosters and career-changed dogs. I also worked at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA as a canine assessor. In addition, I have volunteered as a photographer for various animal rescue organizations such as Save Our Scruff and Bark at the Moon K9 Rescue. Because of this experience, I have the ability and knowledge to care for a wide range of dogs, from puppies to anxious dogs to rescues. I can provide a calm, structured, and welcoming environment tailored to each pup’s individual needs. Lyndon, my 7-year-old black Lab mix and career-changed guide dog, is easygoing and social. He loves the company of other dogs and will be a steady, friendly companion during their stay. Olly, my 6-month-old dachshund, is a bit more reserved at first but warms up with time. Once comfortable, she enjoys playful moments like chase and fetch! Together, Lyndon and Olly help create a balanced home environment that can suit both confident and more sensitive dogs. I will be able to adjust my work day to best fit your dogs needs and keep them in a routine they are comfortable with. I have two friendly dogs at home who help create a calm, social environment for visiting pets. My black Lab mix, Lyndon, is very easygoing and loves the company of other dogs, making him a steady companion during their stay. I also have Olly my 6-month-old miniature dachshund, who is a bit more reserved at first but settles in with time and enjoys gentle play once she is comfortable. With over 14 years of experience in dog care, including fostering, working with rescues, and assessing dogs professionally, you can feel confident that your pup will be cared for, understood, and loved as if they were my own. I always aim to create a safe, structured, and comfortable environment tailored to each dog’s individual needs.

I treat each pet like a family member with unconditional love <3 I am currently at home full time, so I will have unlimited time to spend with each and every fur baby! My schedule is very open; available for boarding almost 7 days a week! Caring for animals isn't just a job to me; it is natural and part of my every day life! Great size family home with lots of room and comfy furniture for them to feel right at home. I have a fully fenced in back yard, offering lots of play time outside. Awesome neighborhood for ample walks as well. I do have two friendly cats; both love and are used to dogs. If the need for crating is requested, I do have one available.

About: I have spent my entire life in a pet loving home which has included cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters. I have now been dog sitting/walking for 8 years. I live in an area with dog parks and outdoor trails for your pets enjoyment. I am also supplied with toys and treats. I am certified in Pet First Aid & CPR to ensure your pet will always be receiving the appropriate care. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty if your pet is sick and needs special attention. Also, My vehicle is pet proofed for your pets safety, if transportation is necessary. For house sitting in your home - I do have a small Yorkie of my own that would need to join me for stays. I currently work from home 9-5, I am able to give pee breaks throughout the day, a morning lunchtime and evening walk and anything else needed I will follow any current routines you may have for your fur baby. I have a dog of my own, I will easily be able to fit another dog into the mix.

I love spending time with pets because every dog has their own little personality. Whether they’re playful and energetic, shy and cuddly, or happiest curled up beside you, I genuinely enjoy getting to know them and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m a very caring and attentive pet sitter, and I treat every animal in my care like they’re my own.
