About: Iâve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 13 years. I grew up with pets, volunteered walking dogs at the Humane Society, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets. With my own dog of 13 years, Iâve experienced the full journey from puppyhood to senior care, giving me the skills to handle all life stages with patience and compassion. Iâm a stay-at-home mom/small business owner with a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddles can easily fit into my routine. Iâm available weekdays and weekends, and Iâll make sure your dog gets the attention and care they deserve while youâre away. Your petâs safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have a fenced good sized yard where pups can play and a dog to keep them company. I can also crate your dog if preferred. Since I have a young child, I will take on dogs who are good with kids, making for a loving, social, and family-style environment. Will typically take on dog aged 3 and up with the exception of your dog is very relaxed. Also good with other dogs and respect my older dogs boundaries of being cared for in my home. Within the past year we lost my first baby my black lab, my chocolate lab would love the company here and there of another dog that matches her lazy chill vibe to have around for overnights.
âOur first time using Rover and I could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish they communicated so well and efficiently. They were very understanding and sent updated with videos that put my mind at ease. Thank you Kelly!â

About: If you have decided to keep your pets at home, where they are most comfortable, hire a person who will shower them with love and keep them safe. I'm retired from banking and loving the simple life, enjoying what I truly love.... caring for pets. Besides caring for my own pets, home, and family. I am available all days and will do my best to meet your needs. My three precious furbabbies-a very funny cat-Miss Kitty and two Pomskys-Sheeba & Earl-are my pride and joy. My Pomskys are escape artists which makes me hyper-aware. I understand the importance of protecting them and ensuring their safety. I love all fur babies with all my heart and treat them like children. I love to walk my dogs along the Niagara Falls Gorge trail and ArtPark in Lewiston. I have a bike trailer and take my dog and cat for rides.
âSarah and family and her dog Beau were the perfect day care for our Morkie while we spent the day at Niagra Falls. Her location was very near the downtown of Niagra Falls only a 5 min drive from our fallsview hotel. Fenced yard was extra treat. Highly recommend her!â

âMonique took excellent care of our pup, Emilio. We had a day of tourism at Niagara Falls and Emilio enjoyed spending time with all the pups and Monique. We loved the pictures and Rover Card report. Much appreciated! Will book again when we come back.â

âNicole was wonderful and sweet. She listened to what we said were Muffins needs and met them and beyond. We greatly appreciated the pictures, they were very reassuring as we had never left Muffin before, she is becoming a world traveler đđ¤. We would highly recommend Nicole if youâre furry family member tends to be anxious. Thanks so much!!!â

âCharlie has found his home away from home!! We have been extremely fortunate and blessed to have found two remarkable fur baby lovers to take care of our little guy. Gen and Alex are very loving, caring and intuitive in their approach to meeting the needs of each individual âloved oneâ entrusted to their care. Gen is a gentle, thoughtful soul who has shown us that Charlieâs well being and comfort are as important to her as they are to us. Gen and Alex have a home that is reflective of their desire to make sure that our pets have everything they could possibly need⌠toys (squeaky, squishy, large, small, mentally stimulating, etc.,), places to rest and snuggle (comfort/calming pet bed, couch, Genâs bed for Charlie as he likes the security of being with his âloved oneâ), they have thought of everything! We didnât know if we could find anyone who would tick every box when it came to leaving our Charlie in their care for a month while we were away, but Gen and Alex made us feel confident in them after Charlieâs first meet and greet!!! Charlie took to them after his second meet and greet (Gen suggested a second one to make sure that Charlie was 100% comfortable with them, which was wonderful). We booked a day camp for Charlie to become better acquainted with Gen and Alex before his long stay and the entire experience was great for Charlie and he settled right in for the day⌠Gen sent photos and updates to us to help us as we adjusted to leaving Charlie and it really did let us see that he was well taken care of, happy and having a great time. Look no further than Gen and Alex, we donât think there could be any better than these two!! Highly recommend!!!â

âRyan is a wonderful sitter! Jiraiya had so much fun, looking at the pictures and the feedback Ryan gave us! Will 100% be using his service again. We really appreciate Ryan and his daughter accommodating Jiraiya so last minute :) thank you!!!â

âHolly is an exceptional sitter! Full of life and love for animals! We really enjoyed the interaction of her pets and my dog. They played so well together and Sully met his first two cats. It was a fantastic experience for us and our dog. Thanks to Holly and Pat for a wonderful time!â

About: I have been an animal lover for my entire life. Growing up, I knew the name of every single dog in my neighbourhood. I have many years of experience with different pets, including puppies, dogs, cats, birds, and even squirrels. Iâm the type of person whoâs sitting on the floor playing with the dog or cat at a party. I have a deep care for animals and I will always look out for them as if they were my own pets. I will work with puppies on commands such as house-training, sit, stay, tricks, etc. during my visits if that is wanted as well. You can count on me to bring all the fun, love, and care to your pets while youâre away! I have open availability! 7 days a week for drop in visits, walks, doggy daycare, etc. I will always accept your request unless I have already been booked up by another client. I always treat your animals like my own! Love, care, cuddles, compassion, walks, playtime, and trust. I will always be respectful of your home and rules. I will follow any directions you leave for me to keep your pet as safe as possible in my care. Doggy day care will get the same treatment, including a large fenced-in yard to run around and play! Other pets will NOT be in my home during visits, so your pet will receive all the attention! Trails close by to go for long walks! Lots of blankets and toys to keep them comfortable!
âCharlene was amazing. My doggie is from the US and he now has a CA dog buddy name Dora & a special human friend Charleneđˇ. She took such great care of Rocket. He enjoyed himself for 2 daytime daycare visits.. This helped us have a more enjoyable vacation and afforded Rocket the same as well. This was our first road trip with Rocket. Thank You so much Charlene.đđ¸đşđ¸đˇđˇđˇđˇđşđ¸đâ

About: I'm available all the time, I have a large fenced in yard, I'm very caring, and loving, sweet with all animals, I walk my neighbors dogs, I've dog sat for friends and family for 2 years now. I am currently unemployed and l would like to earn some income with the joy of doing so. I am 19 years old, I'm experienced with several animals and I understand the way they cope in different situations and how they react around other dogs and humans. It's all about how you approach the animal, never be fearful and hesitant or the animal may feel threatened. Always be gentle and let them sniff it out. If the dog licks you, they like you, show dogs love and affection, pet them soft like and play outside and run around a bit so you and the dog(s) can get some exercise.⤠I go to college, work part time and I have a son who's almost 3 years old. Pets are just as much as family. I have a fenced in yard, I enjoy going for walks, and playing, and petting dogs and cats, just overall taking great care of animals.
âDebashish only had Harley for a few hours, but she was calm, happy, walked and clearly well taken care of during that time. I would not hesitate to use him again! Harley is not always the easiest dog, but her behaviour clicked with his personality and he managed her very well.â

About: I had two family dogs growing up for 12 years that weâre calm and easy to take care of, then I got my own dog who was the exact opposite. He had extreme behavioural issues, anxiety, epilepsy, and aggression. Taking care of him really taught me patience, added responsibilities, understanding and a different kind of love and appreciation as a caregiver. Iâve also fostered dogs which has given me experience with different breeds and needs. I now share custody of a 4 year old border collie/golden retriever mix who LOVES other dogs and people. We worked with multiple trainers with him and learned a series of obedience training, off-leash training, and much more knowledge regarding dogs. I work from home and make my own schedule, so Iâm available to take care of, play with, and pay attention to your pup always! We have a half fenced yard and a huge park near us to take the pup out easily! We also have a 2.5 storey house with a basement for lots of room to play and wander. I work from home and make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to play with and pay attention to your pup throughout the day! I have a backyard and a front yard for easy bathroom breaks. Thereâs also a huge park beside my house to run and play at, plus a bunch of trails to go for long walks!
âErik and Lindsay are amazing! Kind, Responsive, Thorough. They have a great setup in the backyard to make sure your dog can exercise throughout the day. I would highly recommend them.â

About: I will make sure that your dog feels loved while being away from your care. They will never feel alone because my job is to keep them company and make sure their mind is occupied by going for walks or playing in the backyard. Long story short, your dog will never be bored with me as I will be by their side every second we are together. I have had a dog for 8 years and I treat her like she is my dog child and your dog can expect no different. As for availability, I am pretty flexible and with some notice can be available pretty much anytime I am needed. I hope you trust that I will take good care of your dog child. I am currently working full time from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. I have hour lunches to be able to go home during the work day and my husband is at home all day and is able to care for your pet while I am at work. I like to make sure I take extra good care of a clientâs home and that I respect their space as I would want somebody to respect mine. I grew up in a house with a single mother who taught me how to maintain a clean house so I like to do the same when I am staying at someone elseâs place. Same goes for their pets. I had my fur baby for more than 10 years between my high school and university years and I loved her more than anything. I want to care for your pets like it is her I am taking care of.
âJamie was amazing with our dog! She kept us updated with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. Our pup is usually very attached and gets anxious when we're not around, but with Jamie she was totally calm and happy! Would definitely make another booking!â

âRiley enjoyed her day with Naomi and Sam and did not want to come home with us during pick up! Naomi was very easy to talk to and listened with care about Rileyâs sensitivities and separation anxiety to make sure she met her needs. Riley will definitely be going back again! We received lots of pictures and updates as well. Thank you for taking care of my girl with so much love.â

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Niagara Falls
Ryan was great! While traveling on a road trip, we needed care for a few hours so we could explore Niagara Falls by boat. Ryan and his little girl took great care of our pup - giving him lots of snuggles and even some water play on a super hot day. I had been a little nervous about leaving our beloved dog with someone weâd never met before, but Ryanâs great reviews and timely and caring responses put me more at ease. Our pup was happy and it gave us a little freedom for a few hours. We would use him again if we found ourselves in the area again!

Zaira was delightful and caring. We are on a three week road trip and our miniature poodle had so much pent up energy. Zaira has a fenced yard and Bebe wore herself out having fun with Zaira and her son. It was just what she needed. If we lived here she would be our go-to sitter.

Nicole was wonderful and sweet. She listened to what we said were Muffins needs and met them and beyond. We greatly appreciated the pictures, they were very reassuring as we had never left Muffin before, she is becoming a world traveler đđ¤. We would highly recommend Nicole if youâre furry family member tends to be anxious. Thanks so much!!!

Camille was lovely. Her space is neqt and tidy. Although Finn was a little weary at first, He seemed to really enjoy his time there. He was in good spirits and happy and enjoyed his new friend Astro. I am thankful for a great day for him. I would recommend Camille for others.

Genevieve gave me excellent feedback about Chloe's visit. Chloe is rarely anywhere without me but I feel very comfortable leaving her with Genevieve and Alex. It was her second time there and they accommodated her joy of being outside and walking and sniffing the neighborhood. I highly recommend Genevieve as a caregiver for your dog. Her caring nature is just what Chloe needs. Thank you. Until the next time!

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Niagara Falls commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in ON ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
