Luisa took excellent care of Chloe on her walk. She even met with me before hand so I could feel more comfortable leaving my baby with someone new. She followed my instructions thoroughly and Chloe had an amazing walk session. I got lots of photos/videos and updates which I really appreciate. We will definitely be booking with Luisa again!

About: I am a huge animal lover! I have a lovely black cat that I adopted several years ago. She is the sweetest, a cuddle bug that loves belly rubs and even knows a few tricks! I absolutely love all animals, I'm the type of person to point out every dog I see while on a drive somewhere. I have a full and open schedule currently. Having a cat doesn't require a ton of time but she does love to spend time with me in the garden, she might be a little upset about that.😹 We have a full fenced in yard with gate, my cat is an indoor cat but comes out on supervision. Cats can be very harmful to the local eco-system so we keep a close eye on her! (we also don't want her to get to any plants that could make her sick!)

I recently went back to an in-office work model... which could have made for one sad at-home doggo. Not so with Nicole on the job. Knowing that our Frankie Rose is walked (and loved) is EVERYTHING. She is so happy and has adjusted amazingly to the new family schedule. We are beyond grateful for Nicole and ROVER for making this transition a successful one!

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 13 years. I grew up with pets, volunteered walking dogs at the Humane Society, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets. With my own dog of 13 years, I’ve experienced the full journey from puppyhood to senior care, giving me the skills to handle all life stages with patience and compassion. I’m a stay-at-home mom/small business owner with a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddles can easily fit into my routine. I’m available weekdays and weekends, and I’ll make sure your dog gets the attention and care they deserve while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I have a fenced good sized yard where pups can play and a dog to keep them company. I can also crate your dog if preferred. Since I have a young child, I will take on dogs who are good with kids, making for a loving, social, and family-style environment. Will typically take on dog aged 3 and up with the exception of your dog is very relaxed. Also good with other dogs and respect my older dogs boundaries of being cared for in my home. Within the past year we lost my first baby my black lab, my chocolate lab would love the company here and there of another dog that matches her lazy chill vibe to have around for overnights.

About: I am a pet lover, having owned several cats, guinea pigs & hamsters over the years. I love all breeds of dogs. Over the past 15 years, we owned a bichon and a maltese and I have enjoyed looking after my friends' and neighbours' dogs whenever they needed someone. I received my Pet First Aid Certificate in 2020 and I renewed it in 2025. I believe all dogs are special and I promise I will treat your pet as my own. I am available for dog walks, even in cold temperatures or temporary sitting at your home or mine. I am available weekdays and evening and weekends. One day notice before booking preferred or additional fees will apply bookings. I have a fenced-in yard & many doggy supplies such as beds, pee pads, dog bags, food bowls, leashes and treats. My family is usually at home to help out should I need them. We are a family of dog lovers! Please note, doggy daycare is an 8 hour day. Additional charges will apply and overnight is a 12 hour period. I accept most breeds of young to adult dogs up to 25 lbs. I am operating full-time as a Rover representative. Apart from my responsibilities for our own dog, I am available for most services on weekdays and weekends. Just check my calendar. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed to.

About: I’ve always treated my pets like my children, they are a member of the family. If you want someone who will not only take care of your doggie, but give them love and attention, I’m your guy. Also dogs are allowed on furniture, my house is their house I currently work part time at home, right now my availability is very open. I also don’t have to work non stop I can take breaks whenever I want, so this allows me to actually be present with any dogs I’m sitting for I have a fenced in yard and a very large house. Just my hallway alone is big enough to play fetch with. I also have a 4 and a half year old daughter who loves dogs and is very good with them. She’s around 50% of the time and will probably spend more time with your dog than she will me:)

I strive for every dogs comfort and happiness and bring patience to those who need extra time to adjust. I'm experienced in administering oral medication, even for stubborn dogs, and offer a highly flexible schedule to accommodate changes when needed I work 4 days on, 4 days off schedule, which lows me to dedicate four full days at a time to pet care, including walking, training, boarding, house sitting, and drop ins. During these days off, I am able to offer a high level of flexibility and accommodate schedule adjustments. If services are required in days I am working, I'm always happy to discuss and arrange a care plan that supports both your needs and mine in a comfortable and reliable way. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home or a client's home. I foster pets frequently and currently have a foster dog who is very dog social, which helps create a positive and balanced environment for previous clients I have taken care for outside of Rover. I also have two friendly, social cats. If a pet is uncomfortable around cats, they are ways provided with a seperate room filled with toys and enrichment to ensure the client's pet is comfortable and to reduce stress. I have a large backyard that is currently unfenced and in the process of being fenced. In the meantime, I ensure dogs Recieved plenty of supervised outdoor time and regular trips to dig parts for safe play, socialization and exercise. I am especially patient with anxious dogs and am always willing to take the extra time to help them feel secure. Walks and activities will never begin until a dog is fully comfortable and ready

About: I have been an animal lover for my entire life. Growing up, I knew the name of every single dog in my neighbourhood. I have many years of experience with different pets, including puppies, dogs, cats, birds, and even squirrels. I’m the type of person who’s sitting on the floor playing with the dog or cat at a party. I have a deep care for animals and I will always look out for them as if they were my own pets. I will work with puppies on commands such as house-training, sit, stay, tricks, etc. during my visits if that is wanted as well. You can count on me to bring all the fun, love, and care to your pets while you’re away! I have open availability! 7 days a week for drop in visits, walks, doggy daycare, etc. I will always accept your request unless I have already been booked up by another client. I always treat your animals like my own! Love, care, cuddles, compassion, walks, playtime, and trust. I will always be respectful of your home and rules. I will follow any directions you leave for me to keep your pet as safe as possible in my care. Doggy day care will get the same treatment, including a large fenced-in yard to run around and play! Other pets will NOT be in my home during visits, so your pet will receive all the attention! Trails close by to go for long walks! Lots of blankets and toys to keep them comfortable!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was little, giving me years of hands-on experience with all kinds of pups. I’m certified in pet CPR and first aid, and I’ve cared for both energetic puppies and gentle senior dogs. Your pet will always be treated with patience, safety, and love. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, visits, and quality time with your pet. I’m able to schedule morning, afternoon, or early evening appointments, and I make sure each pet gets the attention they need without feeling rushed. Whether it’s puppy playtime, a calm stroll with a senior dog, or regular check-ins, I can easily adjust my schedule to fit their routine and yours. When I’m pet sitting, I follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I keep their environment calm and familiar, give them lots of attention, and make sure they always feel safe. I also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how your pup is doing. I provide safe, structured walks tailored to your dog’s energy level and needs. Whether they need a slow stroll, a quick potty break, or a longer, more active walk.

Emma is extremely accommodating, she lets you know if there might be any changes to her scheduled which may affect the walk, gives great updates of your pet and is overall extremely kind to both the pet and the owner. About: Hello! I have 1 dog and 2 cats so I have plenty of experience for caring for animals. I’ve always been an animal lover, I’ve had a lot of rodents in the past as well. Animals are a passion of mine and I’m currently in school to becoming a vet in the future. I have experience caring for pets by ensuring they are well-fed, exercised, and comfortable in their environment. I'm attentive to their behavior and needs, and I prioritize their safety and well-being at all times. What sets me apart is my patience and ability to build trust with animals, even those who may be shy or anxious, especially with anxious dogs as my dog is one of them. I'm also reliable, and committed to following any specific care instructions provided by owners. I'm available basically everyday of the week as I currently don't have any other job. We can talk more about the details when we get in touch. As of right now I only care for pets in clients homes. I go on many walks throughout the day and play a lot with them. I make sure they have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of attention. I follow the owner's instructions closely, including feeding schedules, and any special care. I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they are stress free. I ensure they are fed on time, walked or exercised as needed, and given lots of attention. I also keep the space clean and provide updates to the owner.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Niagara Falls choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 90% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
